Absolutely love these ‘made easy’ videos…because it is exactly that and it’s beautiful 👌🏼 waiting for you to do ultramarines legion now 😉 top content as always dude!!! Thank you
Andy, I just picked up some colors you used on this figure, I like that green you worked up. I guess the correct green for HH Death Guard is whatever green you like. 👍
Yes definitely! I just show you guys how to paint, but you can sub in any paints/colours you like best-there's no right or wrong colours! Hope your painting goes well!
I do like that green and we arrived at the same place through different brands. My pads were done with pro acryl yellow green and bright yellow green then a bit of thinned athonian camo shade.
@@MediocreHobbies Soon, eh? Guess I'll just have to watch and like all of the Horus Heresy videos you make until you make Space Wolves... and then all the video afterwards as well... that'll show 'em.
I can only imagine. luckily for me, you already ticked one of my legion boxes with the Sons of Horus video. the other 2 I'm looking forward to seeing are for planned smaller scale armies and/or allies for my main force.
I've used your Dark Angel and Night Lords paint scheme. Tysm, so easy, fast and army looks amazing. Any chance you could be convinced into making a tutorial for the 30k Dusk Raiders?
I wonder if it would still look good with only minor highlights using pallid wych flesh to kept the armor appearing mkre muted and grimey after the sepia wash
If I am not mistaken, the death guard never painted their armour, only the pads. So, for reference or if you wanna chip space marine armour, an off white is always right.
Love these videos. Will you be doing the other Primarchs as well? I’m having trouble choosing the legion I want to paint. I know I want a traitor legion. But I’d love to see World Eaters next.
Have just started a 30k death guard army so this video couldn't of came at a better time. Looks fantastic and easy to follow. Any chance we could get a 30k battle report down the line to?
@@MediocreHobbies Well i was surprised that the pallid wych flesh Looks so good. My First instinct was to Go for ushabti bone but i Like it better with the lighter colours after all they are Not boney Boys :D Thanks a Lot Mate!

Miss seeing you in the shop. Great idea with easy paints!!! Also the battle report format is real nice! Thanks! Keep it up and all the best!
Cheers for the kind words pal.
cheers for the guide in painting the death guard. its a great guide to follow
No worries pal. Glad you liked it.
looks great! i will be using your method for painting my HH Death Guard!
Great to hear pal. Thank you.
Fantastic job! Thanks for the walk through. I absolutely love these style of videos.
Cheers dude. I love hearing that.
Agreed on the palid witch flesh as the highlight! I started with screaming skull and ended up stripping it all
Ye it just feels rite with the pallid.
Love me some death guard minis. Liked and subscribed!
Thank you so much. Glad you liked it.

Nice. Death guard are so cool and the green can be so many different shades it’s all good.
Old reply but did you see they released a dark yellow green
@@ringwraith1040 yes. Need to order
Lovely job as always Andy. And I'd love to see a video on Heresy era Thousand Sons.
It will be done
Great video! I am once again requesting Space Wolves for this series
Soon I promise.

@@SituationNormalGames hahhaha I like the sound of that.
I second Space Wolves.
Great set of tutorials. I'm really looking forward to your Thousand Sons and Alpha Legion videos.
So many to do so little time lol. I will get to them all.

@@therealtripler8629 hahaha cheers dude.
These simple guys really appeal to me. I prefer minis that are not so overloaded
I know exactly what you mean. Glad you like them.
Would love to see how you tackle World Eaters next!
Im very excited to get to world eaters. So they should be soon.
I've used your Dark Angel and Night Lords paint scheme. Tysm, so easy, fast and army looks amazing. Any chance you could be convinced into making a tutorial for the 30k Dusk Raiders?
Perhaps. I have had a few requests for it.
the shoulder pads are apparently supposed to be Death Guard green, pretty obvious in retrospect, but I think you did pretty good
Cheers pal. Ye your the second person to point that out today lol. No it’s how I missed that.
Nice video. I was going to do a Death Guard army in this style for 40K, but I decided to paint them as Black Legion.
Black legion death guard do look nice. I’ve seen them done before.
I wonder if it would still look good with only minor highlights using pallid wych flesh to kept the armor appearing mkre muted and grimey after the sepia wash
I’m sure it would. If you try it please let me know how it went.
Love this, however I might tackle this scheme a tad differently using other company paints
Nothing wrong with that at all tag me of you do I’d love to see it.
Great tutorial
Cheers as always pal.
Love this
Cheers dude.
Very nice, but I would have done the grime and streaks after the battle damage
Not a bad idea at all.
Good job
Thanks so much!

Good to know. Thank you.
Love these videos. Will you be doing the other Primarchs as well? I’m having trouble choosing the legion I want to paint. I know I want a traitor legion. But I’d love to see World Eaters next.
I am doing Angron and then corax. But after that I don’t own any more lol.

It’s possible. You will have to pester the golden chin over on Instagram about it. He is the editing god so it’s up to him.
MORE VIDEOS!!! 😁
Yes sir.
Out of curiosity, in all your research for a green for the shoulders did you not consider "death guard green" ? lol
Hmmmmmm damit
Yey!!!!
Finally happy lol.

I'm torn between Death Guard or the Word Bearers?!
Both schemes I really enjoyed doing. So that is a tough one. You could do a mix.
@@MediocreHobbies Great recipes btw. Can you play with 2 allied traitor legions?
@@ClarkesonTheMarksman I believe you can yes. We shall have to wait for the new rules to drop to be sure but you could in the old edition.
@@MediocreHobbies Wicked. For the green shoulder pads I'm swayed towards abteilung 502, field grey.
@@ClarkesonTheMarksman I have no idea what that is lol.
Any idea how to translate this to, say, a vehicle?
There should be no different. If you check out my black Templars play list you can see some large models and maybe my khorne berserker rhino.
For the algorithm!
Thank you.
