i really dont understand this crap. jojo was such a monster player and then he switches to match and he starts down this drum and bass path. what a waste of a real talent....

Not everyone has to get it. I've found everything he's done since a lot more creative. It sounds like you care more about his technique and the difficulty of what he plays than the creativity involved.
@@andrewlong7578 Precisely!!! It's a completely nonsensical assessment. I mean, how can it be a waste of talent? The man is still a monster player (match or traditional grip) and has never stopped and is still pursuing and exploring exactly what it is HE desires, musically, hence zero talent being wasted, but rather utilized abundantly. And yes, I agree, his playing and everything he's been involved in in recent years just continues to get more and more interesting and creative. And if these particular artistic choices don't resonate with someone, well, that's life, but that certainly doesn't negate these facts, regarding the status of his talent.
