You are an interesting young man. You're also an excellent musician and I've enjoyed listening to you. Stumbled on this video and some more and was absolutely impressed. Hope I get to hear you live 1 day I'm usually in the front driving at night while the band sleeps but it's music like yours that keeps me rollin through the night
Music is a language! And in every language there are many dialects of that language. Because you were dope 20 years ago doesn’t mean that you’re dope today! The language has changed, and if you don’t study the new language you won’t know how to communicate with those that speak the new dialect. If you could play for The Hawkins 30 years ago, gospel music has changed considerably since then. Gospel music today isn’t the same as it was in 2008 yet alone 30 years ago. Vise Versa because you can speak today’s language doesn’t mean you speak the language 30 years ago.
Thanks for the follow up info , so by connecting your keytar with a midi to your computer, the sounds you get are they permanent or you only have them as long as you are connected to your computer.thanks once again
Very poignant. I have heard many musicians say you don't have to read music, just practice. That is called illiterate. And just like any language, if it is not articulated, how is anyone to know what your thought are? Hmm. Well said, music should communicate between musicians. I have always taught my bands, we are trying to achieve clarity of thought.

Cdub , how do you add realistic bass sounds to a keytar
+Gary Rawls Basically just connect your keytar through midi to a computer and you can use whatever sounds you want
