    I love this. I’m currently a saxophonist at my church and I was wondering if you’d ever do a video on how horns typically fit into an church band. In service, I often find myself struggling to find a place where I don’t clash.

    • @thisjustin77
      @thisjustin77 5 років тому +4

      watch your volume . get a saxophone mute. placement is important. Just had a saxophone player play with us for the first time on Friday evening. While his playing was beautifully done his placement was not great. But I'm summing that up to me not leading him perfectly . Follow your leaders

    • @timothymorgan764
      @timothymorgan764 4 роки тому +2

      I would say first and foremost to pray before the service. Listen intently to the song being played as well as the flow of the service. Then, carefully pick your spots to embellish, enhance. Watch the worship leader and allow the Holy Ghost to lead you. Thanks for sharing, God bless.

    • @twagirimanajeanbosco5857
      @twagirimanajeanbosco5857 Рік тому

      The worship leader is the one to finf some Space for you while he is leading worship. The problem is that when you've got a worship leader who IS not really music driven, it can be hard!
      2. When you prepare you worship the worship leader should try to include s some Space for instrumentalists playing, either at the starting of à song , in the middle at at the end! That's my opinion!
