Thanks for checking it out, Greg. If this project could have waited about three weeks I could have made the cross out of steel.....CNC plasma cut type........ Wait, did you catch what just happened there? :-)
I've no idea why I'm receiving these comments unless I inadvertently touched my I pad in the wrong place at 3:05 AM !!! ... not likely. I would have been sawing logzzzzzz... not 1-by poplar or pine ! Fun video BNG, glad it was you who figgered all them thar angles and not me.
My wife's been bugging me to build one...maybe to put me in it? lol I didn't get the reference to green tools. Somebody doesn't like green tools? Great video!
Hahaha. You are part of the reason I even started drinking that green cool aid.... Does that make you a friend or an enemy.... Hmmm. I'd say a mentor... :-) Thanks for watching!
Definitely not a mentor ! hahaha But someone who would toss back a beer or 12 or maybe and preferably a bottle of whiskey with you. LOL ! And hey man.....what's up with the trucker caps ? You got them for sale yet ? ? ?
CNC Router Parts is unrolling theirs. I am getting one of the first ones and will help with their documentation and such and get some content out there. I'm really excited to get this thing.
I'm ready to buy the plans from but I needed to know with the way you built it how much does it weigh? Four of us need to be able to carry it about 1 mile , (with nothing in it)
That is so awesome. How long did the project take start to finish? Some castors for a storage "coffin table" or shelves for a "toe pincher pantry" LOL great piece of furniture. Blessings!
My daughter wants me to build her a coffin bookcase and I think this design of a frame and skin would not only look nice but also be structurally sound to stand on the "toe" end and hold shelves. I'd add a little platform under the "toe" for stability, but you get the idea.
It's not the cough that carries you off its the coffin they carry you off in 😁 that was a great build and loved that you give dimensions unlike a few 1000 other "instructional" videos on UA-cam, did you sell it to your neighbors or was it a Halloween gift ?
Thanks for checking it out Edison. I really appreciate it. I don't have as built plans but in the video description box I have I link to my website where you can go download the Sketchup file that someone else did. Also, if you will send me an email I think I have a PDF of the original Fine Working edition where it was written up that I can send you. blazingnailgun@gmail.com
That turned out awesome! I made one a few months ago for an exhibit here in Vegas. They wanted it to look like it had been in the ground for 100 years so it involved beating the crap out of it and charring it with my weed burning torch. Yours might be a little too nice for my enemies hahaha
Do you make those for sale. I'm actually looking for one myself. I don't have a lot of time, nor a lot of money, and standard coffins are way out of my price range.
Thanks for watching Patriot. Yes, I will take commissions for anything I make. This is not an inexpensive build though. A lot of time and materials. If interested in talking then send me an email and we'll discuss. fred@redneckdiy.com.
That came out awesome I like all the different joinery techniques you use and if I don't have a certain tool there is always another joint that can be used. And until you own the " green tool" and feel the difference don't complain. And I always like domino joinery so keep up the awesome work!!!
By far the best overkill I've seen yet. Your craftsmanship is top notch!
I love watching you build that coffin. And the best part watching you use the right tools for the job.
Feddie, I can get the Sketchup model to download. Love what you've done.
I love the coffin and your shirt!🫡
Outstanding workmanship! I hope you kept in handy for when the need arises!👍
Best layout I’ve seen for a tie pincher! Nice work.
Thanks!
Toe pincher
"green tools" gave me a good chuckle. Great stuff as always.
Thanks for watching, Ninguemvl! Folks sometimes give me grief over those things so I just tried to hit it head on. :-)
Nice job Feddie,ur friends should be proud of ur craftsmanship.
Thanks Opa. Good to hear from you!
The jute cord makes it!!! Great project as always.
Thanks for checking it out, Greg. If this project could have waited about three weeks I could have made the cross out of steel.....CNC plasma cut type........ Wait, did you catch what just happened there? :-)
Once again awesome job. Glad I subscribed, craftsmanship is a rare commodity these days and I'm glad to see its not dead.
Thank you for the kind words and encouragement, Fred. I really appreciate it!
I got green tools, yellow tools, orange tools, and red tools. Tools are tools, man. It's all good.
That's a fancy pocket hole jig. Beautiful craftsmanship. Can't open the link with plans.
Lol nice work. Your push sticks got my subscription

Wow, that's talent! I keep badgering my husband for wood working tools, but it sounds like a spendy hobby!

Good to hear from you Kortt. The "green tools" are the expensive Festool tools. Some folks give me grief over having them. :-)
Link to plans looks like it’s not working. Excellent build!!
All your friend needs now are a few CNC head stones! The project tuned out great. Tools are tools, don't let the haters get to you.

Hahaha. Bet folks give you grief over them too..... :-) Thanks for checking it out, Matt.
Awesome job, I really like all the sweet tools
How much would you charge to have one built and shipped out? No Staind or paint.
Great looking coffin!!! I'm most interested in your feeder table - do you have any designs on this?
Man, I've got a lot of enemies........I could be building coffins for a long time.....with my "green tools" ! ! ! Good stuff man !
Mate your work is good
Thanks Ally!
Nice! Would this be strong enough to carry a person in?
Thanks for watching, Willem. Yep, I'd feel comfortable carry an ex wife or girlfriend in it. :-)
Looking for the sketch up design but the link doesn't work. Is there a way i can still get it?
Hey babe I love your work it a beautiful coffin ⚰️ I wish I had one like that myself
That circular saw guide is neat. Will it work for any saw or just that saw?
Nice job! You always have the best tools. I have tool envy. :D
Hahaha. Thanks Doug. Speaking of....... Guess what I have on the way....... Did someone one say CNC plasma cutter? :-)
No way! Which one did you order? I'm saving up for one.
CNC Router Parts is unrolling theirs. I am getting one of the first ones and will help with their documentation and such and get some content out there. I'm really excited to get this thing.

The link is no longer up, any chance you still have the file?
I'm ready to buy the plans from but I needed to know with the way you built it how much does it weigh? Four of us need to be able to carry it about 1 mile , (with nothing in it)

Thanks for the kind words, Tina. I appreciate it. Great ideas on the furniture. I was "round things to the wall" on this for about three days. :-)
;)

I’m hoping when I get my own work shop I’d like to build these coffins
Nice work Feddie! On another note though, I was wondering if you have plans for the miter station you built and if so how can I get them.
Thanks for checking it out Edison. I really appreciate it. Will this substitute as a real coffin?? Asking for a friend.
