Rich is a man of many talents, great detectorist (except for the sometimes he nixums ) expert on native artifacts and also a herbologist 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣. Another great show guys 🏴☠️🏴☠️
Field Wars. The Quarter Hoarder Strikes Back....should be the caption of that segment!! You know a spin off of Star Wars. Great show, 8 plus year staight..Amazing!!!
Great hunt..congratulations to Matt on his first 2 cent coin! I think the Barber quarter design is one of my favorites, nice find Jason! It was nice to see Kyle pop in too, at least he comes out of the woods once in awhile..😎 Take care and good luck on your next hunt!
Hope Doug has a good relaxing vacation. Metal detecting ain't as easy as people think. I know after hours of swinging, my arms ready to fall off. Lol. My legs get sore too. I wish I lived back up north to search all those fields too. There is a massive field/fields here.....but......I have no clue who owns it all to ask em. There's 1 barn on it, and an abandoned late 1800s house on it. Plus the gates always closed and locked. It'd take me YEARS to search that piece of land. Right now, it's just a dream to search it. The only thing I found the other day while digging up bricks/blocks in my backyard was a wheat cent about 8" down. I wasn't even detecting then. Lol
Trudging through that muck couldn't have been fun given all the other weather-related junk you were dealing with, but you all managed some really awesome coppers (and your Barber quarter of course!)- well done!
Dog Tag Doug is letting his UA-cam fame go to his head... On 'vacation'' again ?? I think he's doing his world tour.. Just kidding with you Dougie... Great episode again.. Many awesome finds again... Will we see more of the 'Nickel Nibbler ' again ?? I guess we gotta wait and see. 5 minutes after writing this, in fact we have a 'Nibbler' sighting.. Getting to be like Big the Foot...
Wow. What amazing hunt you and the guys had. Matt's button &2 cent bucket lister, then the matron head and braided hair largies and Jason your cool 1899 barber quarter. It was nice to see Kyle ( a k.a. The Nibbler) again
Hey Jason Question for you. Do you remember the date on the Holed Wheatie you found. Mike From Digging Duo, Greg from Finding America, and I have found 1910 Wheaties that were Holed. I'm in Nevada, Mike's in New York, I can't remember where Greg's at, but three different States with a 1910 Wheatie that are Holed is crazy. Just got my curiosity going when you said you found a Holed Wheatie. Great Hunt there. Congrats on all the Coins that everyone found. Crazie Digging
It was several years ago so I don’t remember the exact date, but I remember thinking it was an older one. Very well could have been early teens or 1910.
Damn, Doug takes vacations like they're going out of style. I haven't been on a vacation since I was 14 and I just turned 41 today. I'll never see that retired lifestyle. I hope he enjoys that vacation.
Your crew has been on some amazing permissions. Jason I was told from an older gentleman that a lot of the holed coins were used as jewelry. Not just sewn into there clothing. Hope this helps.
It is really cool how just by watching you guys I have learned so much, even looking for what number the finds give the detector. I really love watching such good guys doing something they all love together and make me laugh every show. Thanks, James
Jason, I have to start watching Tuesday on my laptop. I have a pretty big tv and stream UA-cam. When you pulled the Barber quarter on. screen it looked to be the size of a beachball. When you said quarter, I lost my stuff and said it's at least the size of a Morgan. jZoom and perspective is a wonderful thing.
I love those 2 cent coins. 1864 was the burning of Chambersburg PA, my home town. The holed coins are really cool. Congrats on the silver. Thanks for sharing.
Out of interest to yous, hopefully. I've found several holed-through Q E 1st silvers over here in UK over the years. Even the tiny silver half-pennies, the size of a petite pois, were often holed-through. She wasn't liked for most of her reign. People stabbed holes through the obverse (her head) with daggers. Also, people rubbed her face out on coins. Finding an early-reign Lizzie in sharp nick is rare. People eased off after she had to be restrained from boarding her Navy Flag-ship, Ark Royal that was off to intercept the Spaniards. Crafty old girl.
Good hunt, Charlie,s holed Indian maybe someone's good luck penny worn on necklace. Maybe year was someone's grandfather or grandmother's birth year. And it was last year of Civil war?😊I still have not found a darn 2cent piece.
Great show! Sometime on your Quart After Show please explain how/why if certain coins are flipped 12 to 6 the opposite side is right side up and some are not. This is really difficult to put into words. If it were easy I'd Google it but... Thanks
The button is a US Marine button from the Civil War era, Extra Quality backmark in a ribbon, which is a Steele & Johnson produced button. Congrats!!!
thank you for the info. after that button I bought the Alberts book. best book I bought for this hobby.
Thanks for the ID help! The design looked familar but at the same time a little odd.

Thanks Dave! I always try to be learning all the time
It's nice to see the humor and laughter is back. Great episode!
Matt the dirt Monger, should be Matt's name. Great digs Keep going back after harvest again!! Nickle Nibbler joined you too.👍😘
Field Wars. The Quarter Hoarder Strikes Back....should be the caption of that segment!! You know a spin off of Star Wars. Great show, 8 plus year staight..Amazing!!!

It was a fun wet and muddy day.

Thanks for all the work Jason, we all appreciate what you do!
That 2 cent looks to be in awesome condition, Love the Barber Quarter. Another Great hunt in the 1000 hole field.
Great adventure! When I'm out detecting and someone finds a barber, we call them Ken the rest of the day 😂
Damn, Doug takes vacations like they're going out of style. I haven't been on a vacation since I was 14 and I just turned 41 today. I'll never see that retired lifestyle. I hope he enjoys that vacation.
After working for over 60 years, it’s great to know I’m free to travel on my schedule and not a bosses.

I have an Indian cent charm bracelet that I bought at a rummage sale about 20 Yeats ago.All of the coins ( are 1890'S).I think I paid 4.00 for it.

The bracelet orig. had 6 coins on it, but one is missing.
Nice quarter Jason! Good pull man!!
Walmart sells those Barber Quarters. $20.61 and $21.12. The 1899 Barber Quarter has an estimated value of $16 in average condition.
Walmart sells Barber quarters?

I have found a couple of holed ihp's. I think it may be to have a keepsake of a baby birth date.
Good hunt keep up the great videos
Perfect!
Jason is really putting in a lot of imagination into these thumbnails.
Keep it up boys
Thumbnails are fun. They’re like making a movie poster or a book cover. 🙂
Amazing😀

Hello Quarter Hoarder,Dog Tag Doug Rich,Charlie and Matt
Jason, I've tried to make MATT-A-TWO-Y stick and he found a two cent. Come on it's TWO perfect! Haha!
I kinda do like it.
@@dirtfishermatt22 I thought it was good before you found the 2 cent( congrats by the way), but now I think it's perfect.
I mean you have a point lol and thank you.
👍👍

You can be sure, wherever I am, my pants are hiked up. Hardly a fashion guru
Aw cool can't wait to watch later with Turd Ferguson

What I’m missing detecting I’m more than making up in relaxation time

I found a PERFECTLY cut in half Indian head cent one time....
Just sold my 1822 dime. Those twos are certainly cool
You can never have enough 2s! 🙂
♥
Texas
You sure that's not a Confederate button he found
I’m not sure actually but that would be surprising. It looks close to an old Marines button but at the same time a little off.
58th like, good tuesday afternoon, guys
Love it!
Rarest 2 cent is a double die error
Has to be silver there...
