Is it just me, or is it odd how the Jestas work in teams of 3? For every other grunt suit, you field them in overwhelming numbers, but the Jesta? Nope, 3 person teams. There's the Tri-Star team of the Ra Cailum under Bright Noa in Unicorn, and the Shezarr Team in NT.
I thought they always worked like that. If I remember correctly, supplementary info says the standard feddie squad in the OYW consist of 1 GM Commander and 2 GM's, then a support team of two Balls and sometimes a GM Cannon.
Jesta aren't grunts. They're special operations suits. More specifically, they're at around 90% of the nu gundam's performance capabilities and are meant to support the unicorn Gundam so that it can focus on eliminating new types on field.
*Bandai Gunpla Conference* - We need to come up with new gundam/gunpla ideas for the new movie that's in the making, any ideas? - Heavily redesigned current moble suits? - A fusion of two different mobile suits? - Just use basic versions of ''this'' suit, but add two new accessories and double the price? I find it quite hilarious that the optics on the both the Jesta beam rifle and the capture gun are clearly based off of Eotech red dot sights, and yet they’re mounted backwards. Granted, it shouldn’t make a difference in terms of function since it’s just a sensor to link to the suit’s systems, but it’s obvious that they wanted the Jesta to look super tacticool, but they slacked a bit on the research and made it a bit silly for people who know what they’re looking at (which is an increasing crowd due to CoD and Battlefield).
Buddy I think it’s you who didn’t do your homework, first of all there’s no rule, but if you take the eotech as a reference, which by the way it’s a holographic sight, not a red dot, it’s definitely mounted correctly.
I don't get why they gave this flip down camera/sensor, to.... a *mono-eye* MS..... with a camera/sensor that is probably 1/4 - 1/3rd the size of its actual head realistically. It feels like they were trying to emulate human equipment too hard... Also, why emulate something that looks like it was designed in 1990? Anyway, that's my rant. At least everything else looks hot, and it comes with the normal cowl.
@@kevinli4457 My guy. You know the pain! I think they honestly did it for low IQ fans who can't accept the knowledge that....20m tall robots piloted by humans.... do not use weapons and optics the way we do. lol. Like, they didn't even give jesta a Elcan Spectre DR camera. They gave it some lame budget reflex design. If they were gonna be wrong, they coulda been classy...... But nooo. 🤣🤣
I think it's just a precision optic, since the Jesta lacks built-in optics like a GM sniper's drop down precision optic visor. Why it comes over the visor at all times tho doesn't make sense.
No idea off the top of my head but if it’s leftover then it’s probably not needed. Check the part list in the instruction manual- if it has an X over the part then it’s extra

A quick note though that there are actually more than 3 Jestas in the Shezarr team, as shown in the first fight against the Phenex.
Its special operations. Special operations dont work in large numbers for their specific job title itself.

Could be worse. They could be entirely new kits that are harder to get instead of existing ones with slight variations.
The Shezarr Team Jestas are super cool!
the Capture Gun is basically like a Poke-ball for Mobile Suits.

Yup 3 TR-6

yeah, plus judging on how fragile it looks just doest felt practical at all as it would break anytime especially flying through space debris
It is probably for better depth perception as at least that’s how human eyes work (there’s a reason we aren’t all Zakus’)
