On Himalayan 411 trip to Lonar and back. I have used the earlier RACKLESS SADDLE with their MAX 20 bags. It works beautifully with not a single stop to check on them. They are absolutely flawless.
Thanks for the detailed review, Ben. Slight correction: I believe the bags on the sides are 24 ltrs each; not 30. Source: I bought the same for my 411.
Even though this might look rugged, it is positively flimsy compared to the Mosko Moto model. But, regarding the product Dirtsack Erupt v2, there is nothing else like it at this price point anywhere in the world. Even brands like Rhinowalk will be around 10-15k if you manage to get it to India. Viaterra teased their model, but knowing Viaterra, they will take another couple of years to make it. Rahgear's Unrack looks promising, but I dislike the inner-waterproof-liner-styled bags. The outer layer gets waterlogged in rains and becomes heavy, dirty and difficult.
Could you please share a short video how this fit on 411 as well, and the placement should be comfortable for pillion. Himalayan 411 comes with a heat shield, so is it necessary get heat shield along with this?
How are the bags holding up Ben? I was planning to pick one up for my KTM ADV 390. I'm ditching the top box and planning to get this one. Little confused between this and Rahgear rackless system. I also plan to take my pillion on rides. I have a mototorque top rack already installed. Any help would be appreciated ! :D
@ understood. However consider riding days at stretch off-road and the amount of pressure the luggage will put on the silencer which is mounted to the bike with clamps. I want to know if there is any way to not let the luggage touch the silencer
Ben u heard about Himalayan 450 chassis break.? I always knew before that happened. This company is a piece of sh*t. The quality is always horrific, as an ex Himalayan owner save your valuable money. And Ben mate does not promote this motorcycle.
good to see that trend is towards soft luggage. and honestly soft luggage is versatile in every way. and more importantly it is safer than hard setup.
i thought so. but it doesn't seem to be holding up.

Is the stock top rack plate good enough or will I need to buy a larger plate?
The bags will sit on the rear seat if you are riding solo . If with pillion you will need a slightly larger plate than the stock one

What do you think about the chase bro...like there were two 450s with a chase break...is it a manufacturing fault or not welded properly..?
