I do it online using an online patcher! To do this you need to download the mod you want and then you can use this patcher: www.marcrobledo.com/RomPatcher.js/ Then you just upload your ROM, upload the mod you want to play and patch the game and download the new game.
Random formula change is probably not ideal but it’s worth it for my entertainment on my holiday.
