Good and helpful video. No hype, exaggeration, sales pitches to like, subscribe, etc. tedious intro videos, branding, etc. ‘Matter of fact presentation; just what many people need to know for their install. Clever idea on the NFC!
@@dablet You said something about "every time you change the amps", but you should configure that setting, behind the PIN, just once, for the capacity of your circuit and the breaker rating. Any other adjustments you can do with the user controls that don't need the PIN. Save the PIN, but don't use it for anything other than changes to the circuit. That's a important safety consideration, so you don't accidentally set it higher than is safe by clicking wrong.

thank you. i try not to waste anyone's precious time. i've even included video time index so you can jump around instead of watching the whole video.
@@wildcathillsnaturalist9228 I liked that NFC as well. Rather unique setup.
At 7:38 you wrote that you blocked it from the Internet. It makes sense why firmware update failed at 8:10.
oh, i blocked it only once it is updated with the firmware. during setup, i had no idea it would try to find a fw.
don't you need a 60amp breaker to get 48 amps output?
i believe so! at this time, im only charging under 40 amps to be extra sure. you can change amp in the app

Having that romex cable exposed doesnt look right. I believe cable must be in conduit.
this depends on where you live. in my area, it's OK.
