It’s a lovely looking guitar Rob. That shade of blue is just stunning! I thought the pickups sounded really nice, especially for the price. Nice playing there too mate 👍🏻

Firstly, glad you're back to video reviews, was sorta like a friend going off and wondering how they're getting on. Secondly, i have an old Squier Affinity Tele. Wasn't looking for wangy twangy but my missus accompanied me to the store ( i went to look at an SG ) she brought it over and saic "oooh i like this one" and it's been with me ever since. ( despite listeners coming closer saying "love the sound...wait, it's a Squier" ?? 😂
My go to... a Duo-Sonic HS or my Jay Mascis Jazzmaster... in spite of Fenders and Gretschs collecting dust.

I have the 'Torino Red' 2024 version, crafted in Indonesia by Cort. No skunk stripe on the neck. I swapped out the black pick guard for a cream one.
Love the colour.

Never been a fan of Squier pickups BUT have a bullet, an affinity and a Jim root Squier teles a Bullet strat and a classic vibe Jazzmaster all were great out of the box with minor setup issues.

I had the bullet. I'm sure they are identical to the 2019 bullets. They stopped putting bullet on headstock. Made in Indo. They are wider necks than usual and sound great actually. Stayed in tune. Put good strings on
I’m not a big tele kinda guy personally, but I will admit that for the price this is an absolutely awesome deal! it sounds and looks great for that price. If I was more into the twang this would definitely be on my watchlist for sure!!

Maybe it's me ears, or maybe it's me stand alone laptop speakers, but all three positions sounded about the same. That is my favorite color though. Cheers, Rob! :)

Thank you, to be honest if it ain't broke don't fix it 🤣 to be fair the pickups are not the most dynamic.

It sounds a bit tinny to me, nothing the EQ cant fix though, I would buy one at the price you got it if I came across one just to mod it, I cant see me going looking for one though.

Whats the differance between these and the Affinity models ?
The affinity has a thicker body, slightly 'better' ceramic pickups and hardware, string through body.

The top load bridge on this is awful. I donated my Sonic Tele to charity. It causes difficulty restringing and was not manufactured well overall.
Can you do the affinity telecaster mocha please then sell it to me 😂

Actually it's garbage. At least mine.
I had to take out the jack and bend it in order to make good contact with the cable jack.
One fret needs leveling (dead notes).
Don't stay in tune.
Pups are not my taste but this personal preference.
A bit noisy, probably poor ground.
But what you can ask for such money.
In the other hand, I was impressed with squire bullet mustang! Mustangs are really very good made and feel like more expensive frim what they are!
That's a shame, I didn't have such issues with mine.
A crack in the finish at the neck pocket is so common it worries me not at all. It's more important to me that the neck fits tight in the neck pocket. Sorry, but I'm not a fan of the cheapest Squier guitars. There are better options in a similar price range and of course that's a personal preference.
