Great show folks . I switch to TTTF in Louisville Ky that I got from a distributor in town last week , Bluegrass cannot progress here without steady inputs of water & fert then here comes the fungus in April , May & June that kills it . Best lawns I’ve ever seen is in an old neighborhood next to mine . Tall Fescue , Pennywill & a little clover . Thick & dark green from spring to late fall . I stop using chems & the rabbits 🐇, birds bees 🐝, butterflies 🦋 , deer 🦌 & Hognose Skunk all claimed my yard . I guess the compromise is to tolerate a little weeds but be blessed with endless wildlife , that know how to take care of yard if we let them .
Great interview and info, thank you for sharing!!! I love the question and answer at 31:50. That was the best explanation of nitrogen fertilizer I've heard -- making plants prioritize growing on the surface rather than their root system, causing more thatch and weaker plants.
