A movement founded by Louie and Shelley Giglio in 1995, Passion has been rooted in the truth of Isaiah 26:8 - “Yes Lord, walking in the way of Your truth we wait eagerly for You, for Your name and Your renown are the desire of our hearts” - existing to glorify God by uniting students in worship, prayer, and justice for spiritual awakening in this generation.
Passion has ushered in the writing, recording, and leading of some of the most recognizable and unforgettable worship anthems of this generation and is currently helmed by Kristian Stanfill, Brett Younker, and Melodie Malone. Chris Tomlin, Matt Redman, Crowder, Christy Nockels and more have also lent their voices alongside Passion throughout the years.
With more than two million units sold and a multitude of chart-topping singles such as “Glorious Day,” “Build My Life,” “God, You’re So Good,” “How Great Is Our God,” “God Of This City,” “One Thing Remains,” “Even So Come,” and “10,000 Reasons (Bless the Lord),” listeners across the world continue to be impacted by the music of Passion. Their newest collection of worship anthems, Roar (Live From Passion 2020), captures significant moments from the gathering of 65,000 people in Mercedes-Benz Stadium and released March 6.

As someone who has recently gotten back into playing bass for the church I attend I found this video extremely helpful! I had to utilize youtubes slow down options to tab the bass lines and also then transpose them down a half step but still if you put in the effort when listening to this video you can learn a fair amount!

Curious as to what is the signal path. That jazz on the neck p’up sounds great palm muted.

He’s got the chords laid out and plays it clearly on camera. Use your ears, apply major chord intervals and use the slowdown feature of UA-cam player and emulate what you see. It’s not that difficult, just flipping around to different inversions of the chord that’s displayed on the screen in the upper third.

This is no tutorial...no breakdown of the bass lines, no bass tabs, no explanation whatsoever. Nothing more than somebody playing the bass part of the song. Sorry, some players are beginners who will never learn from this vid.
