Many yrs ago, ever dined at Hai Tien Lo which used to be on the top floor of Pan-Pacific. It has moved to a lower floor. That green back-pack has accompanied Little K for few years. I'll be in Hong Kong from 18-25 Dec for a cold X'mas. Till then, Merry Christmas to you & family!

Did not know that a biz hotel brand like Pan Pacific has such a kid-frdly facilities for Little K.
But given the hotel's proximity to Gardens by the Bay ... gd choice ... along w its sister brand Parkroyal in the next tower.
The revamped Mandarin Oriental within the same complex as the afore-mentioned looks gd - but prices are a bit elevated now since its recent reopening after a 6-month revamp.
The new Pan Pac Orchard is nice ... but service has reportedly been patchy ... will staycation there for the architecture n design once service quality settles down. But have visited its stunning architecture.
The hotel is designed by WOHA - the same architect as the Oasia Downtown in Tanjong Pagar. Nice .. w attractive interior design by Spanish designer Pat Urquiola. Very gd pool. Staycationed there a few times during covid! Gd for family, or just hubby n u when ur mum or in laws or Katrina are in town to watch over Little K on ur behalf!
For a gd family staycation - I wld suggest the Shangri-la or its sister development at Sentosa. I understand both have very gd kids programme for staycationers.

The Shangri-La Orange Grove property was the brand's first in the world - developed almost 50yrs ago when Malaysian tycoon Robert Kuok was living in Singapore, before he moved to HK a few yrs later to take advantage of the PRC's opening up.
The property remains the brand's flagship.
Very gd location .. lotsa of greenery in one of Singapore's august neighbourhoods.
Sizeable grds!
U may have visited. If not, do consider.
Can easily stroll to the Botanic Gardens n Dempsey Hill from there via a nice neighbourhood.

These are of course some of the gd family frdly staycation possibilities.
Hopefully top HK-owned brands like Peninsula n Rosewood will open a hotel here someday, like Mandarin Oriental has - especially the Peninsula.

Not yet ... am aware of it. Have seen pics. Not been to that side of HK. Furthest I have ventured out of the Central area was to Repulse Bay n Stanley. Just the trip there is special ... climbing up n down Victoria Peak n looking at the skyscrapers being built on the slopes. Engineering marvel. Most often, when I visit HK, I stay at Central or Admiralty or Causeway Bay. Convenient. Only stayed on the Kowloon side once .. at Hotel Icon .. shortly after it opened - wanted to take a look at this green unique establishment as it is partly a training school for the hospitality students of HK Polytechnic. My 1st visit to HK was on a transit at Kai Tak from the US almost 30yrs ago. When I finally got out into HK, CLK had opened.
The Pan Pacific hotel brings back a lot of memories. The hotel was the set for 80s Hong Kong movie - Carry on Hotel 金裝大酒店 starring Jacky Cheung. Not sure if the hotel still have the external lifts that can see the Marina Bay which is very different now.
