I'm Filipino from Florida. Is it frowned upon if I was hanging out with a younger woman?
wow , great question kuya . my family's rule is 14 yrs . i am not interested in a woman more than 14 years younger than myself. that was the rule my mother passed to me and my 12 brothers and sisters
I'd like to make a donation to you but I'd like to do it in person when I get back there, i hope they let us foreigners in your country again soon because we are a benefit to the economy there and we like to see the Philippine people prosper.
I was at a street vendor with my girlfriend and the two ladies running it said "na dako otin" I thought it was a strange phrase until I ask my now wife what they said...😂🤣😂😂 I was actually embarrassed a little by it.
You are so great pea! Smart attractive those dimples and great dealing with people on camera!! I hope someday you end up doing Television work!!
I've been to the Philippines 12 times and I can definitely say that I have never felt hated, as a matter of fact I have made lots of friends
and we always stay in contact. I have one friend that works in a wet market in Cebu and every time he sees me he wont let me buy anything because he always invites me to his house for dinner and beer. I consider him my family.
Wow, TWELVE times? You really must enjoy it here 👍❤️👍
Ate Pea, as a 47 year old foreigner who lives here for almost 4 years, I appreciate you for doing this video about this topic. One of the reasons I love the Philippines is the great people and attitudes. Salamat Po.
Thanks Denny! We are a pretty friendly, understanding culture 😁
Should an old person use the word “po” when addressing a young person? Always curious as to the term.
Speakno12, traditionally a young person would address an older person the “po” prefix. But, it’s also used based on status. A person who’s of a lower status may use the “po” prefix when addressing someone who’s status is above them.
@@hoygising2640 Thank you for the information. Didn't know the second point you raised.
Been learning Tagalog since november. And really like the flow of words that sentences can have.
A Filipina once told me "You have a Handsome Wallet". She was the most honest Pinay I ever met.
Sigma, you have a handsome comment (but can I take a look at your wallet, too?)
Hahahahaha
Hey pea im 40 ;)
a filipina friend of mine said if I cant send her money she is going to break up with me. best ultimatum given to me....im single and lovin it.

@@TheFilipinaPea your first interviewee i guess was bakla/bayut. But i could be wrong
As I mentioned on another post, I have spent a lot of time in Northern Mindanao. A lot of the girls dont want a local coz they have had bad experiences with them (playboys) or they are lazy. On the flip side, I hste it when I see Western men be arrogant with locals. Sheesh, we are guests in their beautiful country. As a side note, I was told many times that I was the only Western man they'd met who was learning Cebuano. That was a big hit with the locals :-)
Yes, learning the local dialect wins a lot of respect with us! 😊
I had a coworker who was a older Filipina woman, we got along pretty well and she tried to set me up with her niece who was about 15 years younger than me and had just gotten finished nursing school. At the time a I was discouraged by the age difference and kind of laughed the idea off, now I kind of wish I had more seriously explored the possibility.
I love my Filipina wife of 25 years and most all of the Filipino men that I have met have become really good friends of mine!
And it has been my experience that when Americans and Filipinos have kids together, those children are extremely intelligent!!!!!
I appreciate foreigners coming to the Philippines. Because i work in the Tourism.Industry
Sadly too many sexpats coming in as tourists. I was ashamed of the quality of foreigners there and upset how some talked down to the PH people. I live in USA, my girl is PH but we are not going to live in PH, we are going overseas to USA or a different country.

Ms. Pea,
Thank you for referring me to this video. It answered most of my questions about the topic.
Money is always a factor and it’s not really a problem as long as no one is taking unfair advantage. Youth snd beauty are priceless.
I knew the answer Before I watched your video.
During my visits to your country, the Filipinos that I have met were very kind towards me.
They and their partners have treated me to meals, taken me sightseeing, airport rides, invited me to dinner at their homes, given me gifts/pasalubong, took me shopping to SM Malls, paid for the uber/taxi for I and gf to get home, etc... great hospitality Always.
Overall, kindness prevails in the Philippines. Never had a problem with Any person during my visits.
btw... one interview was funny. The pinoy couldn't stop his phone gaming during your questions. 😊😀
That was a great video!!! Me being 61 and my girlfriend being 39. It was so right on in my opinion too!!!
Thanks Mark! 😊
as you have proven, your on top of it.. you nailed this... happy to hear the outcome, as most foreigners never are close enough to locals to know the real deal.. Good job the Amazing Pea
Thanks so much for your stamp of approval, Texx!! 😊

The world is truly getting smaller, and we're all better off as a result. I've been married to a Filipina for 33 years, am seriously considering retiring in the Philippines in a couple of years. I'm excited to see the results of your interviews; not only are they encouraging but I'm learning from them as well. Great video!
High five to ya Bill I have been married to my Pinay for 25 years now and we have a small cottage outside of dipolog city that the family takes care of for us . I hope to spend more time there in the coming years
Excellent job Pea! Very creative presentation of the subject matter. Informative and very objective. Thanks for listening for constructuve suggestion. I like it so much! Filipino is very multi lingual. Your trilingual skills is amazing. Keep up an excellent work. I can give u some topics that you can do research and present it in your future vlog which i experienced when i was growing in the Philippines. Nakikita ko ang sarili ko sa iyo nung kabataan ko, ngayon ay 52 na ako at ang aking asawa ay 7 taon ang tanda sa akin. Your respondents were right. Age doesnt matter. Heart always remain young forever. Mabuhay ka pea!
Awwww that’s so sweet, ate Teresita! I’m flattered that you see yourself in me 😊 maraming salamat po😘 sure , always open po ako for suggestions sa aking mga susunod na topics. Ingat ka parati ate!
I love your "man on the street" personal approach! Live and let live is awesome.
I suspect that the "short temper" would be better translated as "no (or a lack of) patience" due to the different pace of life where the foreigners are coming from, and that as they adjust & their attitude adjusts to a more leisurely pace of life they seem less "short tempered" to the locals. I suggest a regimen of Jimmy Buffet songs on the flight over... ;-)
Hahahahaha Nunya
And for the record, when my wife came over here, I taught her the books and gave her the checkbook. If you aren't going to trust your mate with money, you should NOT be together. @Pea, please tell the girls this. So many warning signs for the girls... too much alcohol, no trust, threats... those are not healthy. I've seen good and bad from both sides.
BTW guys, "Kuya" is a respectful Cebuano word for "big Brother"... Pea uses it for strangers as well, when she wants to show respect. All of my wife's friends call me "Kuya" and I love it... I also take it as a sign of responsibility to act like their big brother. :)
“Kuya” is a term that can be used anywhere in PH Sir. ☺️
Very well done. It was refreshing to see these topics addressed from a Filipino point of view, wonderfully informing. Enjoyed it greatly, keep up the great work.
I love my Filipina after 45 yrs of being married. She is the boss 100% im her toy boy. Love the Philippines and the people.
Good questions Pea. Ive never had any problems only love.
And offers of beer. x 🥰
Lots of beer, yes!
I really like your style of asking questions and the subjects you choose are important
Excellent interviews! The more I watch the more I realize how smart you are… thanks for doing this Mike
Thank YOU, Mike 😊
"Do you think foreigners are stealing our women?"
"No, I think our women are stealing foreigners."
Please get me that mans information, I want to buy him a beer. Lol
I liked that answer, it's just a shame that he seemed to be reading answers straight from his phone
I'm a Filipino myself & I think I agree with what the rasta guy says. We think the other way around & part of the reason is Filipino pride, they're able to attract foreigners because of how they looked.
That being said, someone else's relationship is none of my business, but answering one of pea's questions, the only thing that foreigners do that annoys me the most is that some of them don't shower everyday. Please do us a favor & shower everyday when you come here, this place is really humid.
Why steal do Filipino male own the Filipino woman

@@TheFilipinaPea I am blushing you just used the "Souvenir"word.
Well done Pea! Thank you so much for your insightful journalism and all the thought, time, and effort you put into it. I have learned a lot from Filipino's both male and female about my faults -- especially arrogance -- but always communicated in a tolerant, patient, and intelligent way -- and I appreciate that. It's helped me to see the light and become more humble and patient -- because they've never mirrored my bad attitude and never put me on the defensive. And in that way helped me change. So while Westerners may be generally physically taller than Filipinos maybe we should look up to you all in this way. Incidentally my nephew is half Filipino and he's 6'2". I look up to him too ;) (I'm only 6'). His parents have been together over 30 years but they are close in age and met here in the states where they live.
Sounds like you’re a respectful and tolerant man, Jim! We need more like you 😊
Your so cute!!! I'm in America and I met a beautiful filipina woman on Facebook. As soon as borders open again I plan on going there and I'll marry her and love her with all my heart...... shes a sweetheart.... thank you...🙂♥️🇵🇭♥️

Hi Pea, thanks for the insight into how some Filipinos think about expats. This will be useful information for anyone who is planning on traveling to the Philippines. We must learn to not to take things so seriously and remember that this not our country and to respect all of our hosts, after all it is their country. Take care stay safe and have fun.

Thank you Pea, this was eye opening interviews and surprised that many young Filipino men and women are so open minded of older Foreigner dating younger Filipinos. I am even more impressed than ever before about Filipino people culture and their democratic thought process!!!
Thanks, Iradj! It was a surprising discovery for me too - I thought that there had to be some resentment, but nearly 100% of the guys said they really didn’t mind at all! 😊
Well he's gay, so...
Very Interesting video Pea. A good perspective from Filipinas male and female.

Much goodness and acceptance is what I have experienced the Philippines. In some cases from people that have very little. It's very humbling.
This was refreshing to hear. Nice to hear we're not unwelcome. Thank you.
Hi Ms. P. THANK you again for your knowledge about the Philippines
Wow. Good video. Ill just mention something on a couple of points. Been here 17 years, American. It was mentioned in the video why filipinos see foreigners with short tempers or seemingly arrogant on when they are spoken to. In too many cases this is because filipinos when engaged in conversation ask too many "invasive" personal questions and don't even know you well enough to ask of such private things. We foreigners on most part find this very very irritating. Too many invasive questioning are asked which is rude. Filipinos will ask almost anything regardless of how personal it is and being none of their business. Just keep conversations simple and refrain from asking all sorts of private information. Another thing is confidentiality. What you say or disclose is repeated to EVERYONE behind your back. A filipino will go and tell all of their other friends, relatives, everything which you have said. Keeping or anticipating confidentiality with filipinos on what you say or reveal about yourself is practically nil... everyone else WILL know. THIS makes us very angry and many foreigners after noticing these behaviors in filipinos will on most part attempt to avoid conversation. The part about the bigger "package" is true. I can't count from how many times women here have wanted to date me, showed interest in me because they are looking for a better sex experience. These are professional ladies here of all beauty, all backgrounds, all skin colors. They KNOW it's a larger experience and they want to see it and experience it. I catch and see sooooo many ladies here all types looking right at my crotch, but then quickly turn their eyes away so you wont notice they're looking. They know myself being a foreigner man has got a bigger one stuffed carefully in my briefs. They KNOW it and you can't fool them on that part...
Nice Video
Loved it! And the package discussion was funny! Thank you, Pea, Love and Respect!
Thanks Jeffrey!! 😊
Guy with dreads very unique very honest love his style
Hello Pea, Jeffie ( think you said that was his name) The surfer dude. He seemed to be in the middle of a very important game, but he had some really good answers . The one that hit the hardest was when he mentioned our arrogance. I've defiantly heard that before from so many people in quite a few countries. Unfortunately I don't have an answer as to how to correct that perception of us. We are all different so our arrogance hopefully shows differently depending on the person. Trust me when I tell you that we ( USA ) have a problem with arrogance here as well. We, especially while visiting another country need to understand how the rest of the world views us and make an effort to change their opinion or at least help them to realize we are not all that bad. I'm not saying that everyone views us that way but there are a lot of countries where we are viewed as very arrogant. I really love that you bring up these kind of questions. They really are needed for us to better understand each other. Sorry for the long comment but I think everyone needs to hear what I have to say.... Just kidding that is just my arrogance talking. LOL HaHaHa !!! Pea I truly appreciate your channel. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for your comments, Owen! You might find it interesting that I also asked a question of each interviewee that I cut out of the video: “which nationality of foreigner is your favorite”, and listed Canadians, Brits, Australians, Europeans, Americans, Chinese, Koreans, and Japanese. 95% of the locals immediately said “American” 😊
@@TheFilipinaPea That's Awesome and a little bit surprising. Thanks for letting me know.
The Filipina Pea This answer really intrigued me as I’ve been to PI multiple times and while there I’ve had Filipino friends we visited say that they disliked Koreans and Chinese. Apparently they felt they were difficult to get along with.
The best thing that ever happened to me was meeting Elsa my Filipino girlfriend and soon to be my Asawa
Yes! I love to hear success stories like yours!

Marriage is a mistake according to both me and my pinay ladybug.
Pea, my wife is 30 years younger, she was not a barefoot girl from the provinces, she had a Bachelor of Science degree in Business. She came here to the USA and received another degree in Nursing. She handles all the finances and it is great; we have over, the past 15 years bought five condos. commercial properties, businesses mainly because of my wife’s contacts and intuition. We waited over a year after meeting to get married and I had to pass six interviews starting with her grandfather, then grandmother and parents and then great aunt and other aunties. It was well worth it and we have two beautiful daughters.
Keep up the good work Pea, I share your videos with friends that want to go to the Philippines.
As a foreigner (USA), who has been corresponding with a Filipina lady, I was interested in hearing how the locals feel about us. I am in the older category (70), but my lady is older too (63) and a widow. I was hoping to travel to the Philippines in Oct., but that doesn't look promising now with the quarantine. From your interviews, it seems the locals aren't overly concerned about foreigners taking their younger women, so I'm guessing my "stealing" an older Filipina will not bother them. You have put my mind at ease a b out how I might be accepted if I come to the Philippine and settle down with my Filipina girlfriend. And by the way Ms Pea, I don't have a quick temper. Thanks for an informative video.
Not only would they not accuse you of stealing, they would look on you with great respect for choosing an older woman rather than just a play toy. Trust me!!!
There are enough to go around. Take my word for it.

Great topic. Always keeping it 100%. Most of what I already knew within my heart. Had many Filipino friends in college in US. mostly guys who took me in immediately and genuinely. We practiced martial arts and it was more a friendship club with an exchange of ideas. I always found the filipina a breath of refreshment and acceptance. Come in all varieties. I tend to like very dark ones with fuller figures. Beauty is eye of beholder. Thanks Pea. Also I like balut. Lol
Yes, Kdog, beauty is absolutely in the eye of the beholder!
In 1984, my friend Jon introduced me to Filipino food. His wife made lumpia and other yummy foods & he sometimes shared his lunch with me. Every Filipino I've ever met was friendly and kind. What I always tell people is... "In the Philippines, hospitality is a religion".
Same here - it's too cold in winter here! I want move somewhere that's warm all year round...
I would never fight or try to intimidate a Filipino man. I’ve known about a half a dozen of them and they are small, but boy can they fight!!!
I’ve seen a dude maybe 5’3” knock a guy out with a single punch. And the one guy climbed up a man’s back and kick him in the head. Good fighters and good friends.

Hello Pea, thanks for your informative videos. Can you cover the topic of woman being considered old maids at 40 and having troubles finding jobs or retaining their current job because of aging. I have heard it a few times.
Good topic RCS - and it’s also true
Old maids? Try "left-over" Chinese women at age 27.

Now THAT’S a compliment, Vincenzo!! Thanks 😊
Yes is true, I seen it with a foreigner in Legazpi 2018, my first visit as a tourist. I was in the Philippines during my time as a US Marine, 1972-1974, the best time of my life. I seen it also in Legazpi on my 2nd visit to the Philippines 2019. If this happen in my house especially in front of friends, I tell him to leave, you're not welcome anymore.
In many Asian cultures relationships can be much more complex than in western cultures. It can be very frustrating for western men. But as long as both sides are willing to learn and compromise anything can happen 😊 great video Pea, keep up the good work 👍👍👍👍
I agree.. In most South, East and Southeast Asian cultures, marriage is fusion of two families. A concept alien to most westerners specially Americans who thinks marriage is as easy as going to Vegas, sign some papers and then share address.
Omg.. I'm becoming a fan. Keep it up ate Pea. Artista ka na. Really loving your content. Napa binge ako bigla. Haha.
Thanks RL!!
Sadly it's human nature young men will never have money when they have it they waste it on drink, women , alcohol and paying for sex. Old guys have been there done that and just want to settle down.
If paying for sex means to pay at the bar/ restaurant on the date... then yes sometimes.
Its not a "waste". Its a smart Investment in Alcohol and Women 😇

It seems like a very friendly place - given the US's history with the Philippines, I am surprised. I have know several Filipino friends in my life here in the States, and they have always been the nicest people - and have great food customs! @@TheFilipinaPea it never occurred to me that we would be looking for different things in women.
A lot of men in the West have short tempers because that's how we are conditioned to be. I can't speak for any countries outside of the USA, but here, we have been immersed in outrage culture. Social media and mainstream media have helped fan the flames of lashing out in offense to everything that makes one even the least bit uncomfortable. It's easier to see with younger Americans, who seem to be less likely to try to adapt, assimilate, and put critical (and creative) thinking skills to work, but we older Americans have slowly allowed ourselves to soften to it. I know I am likely to get blasted here for saying that (after all, I'm a Gen-Xer, and we're the ones who "are responsible for all the ills of society"... somehow), but it's just my opinion based on my own observation and experiences.
I'll admit that I have a short temper, but I internalize it, for better or worse. It's what I learned to do as a kid of the 70s and 80s. But back then, we were taught that "sticks and stones don't break bones," and that we could overcome anything by just biting our tongues, pulling up our "big-boy pants," and moving forward; now it seems more popular to throw a tantrum when things don't go your way. That tantrum manifests itself in a lot of different ways in a lot of different people, but it's usually ugly, no matter how it comes out. We have begun to learn that knee-jerking gets us attention or raises our worth and status among a certain social demographic of what is taking over Western culture. We're no longer the stoic cowboys that everyone used to imagine American men to be, but a bunch of Baby Hueys who kick, scream, and cry to get what we want, when we want it. Again, that's not ALL American men--- it's just the way we are trending, unfortunately. It ain't pretty.
Well you mature foreigners still act like gentlemen, as far as I’m concerned! I have absolutely no problem with you 😊
I'm more like an emotional ice-block (just like my brother-in-law, a Chinoy MD). My wife is the absolute opposite. I'm always very polite (no wonder, I'm only a guest in the Philippines and guests should behave impeccable) and with the right opposite I can talk very long about many things including politics.
Yup, where everyone is a "victim" and nobody is responsible. I, on the other hand, am an "old white guy" responsible for all the ills of the world. Maybe I should be a victim? LOL
I am sure standing in a 2 hour line, when I could pay a bill online in 10 seconds is frustrating to many :)
Very thoughtful and well presented comment, David. I couldnt agree more.
Cool video. I am American and have been to the PH 5 times now. I am 39. I first dated a Filipina who was a ophthalmologist in the US on a student visa when I was 32.... she was 39. It lasted aboutt a year.
After that I dated a Filipina in Cebu with a ten year age difference. We have been together 6+ years with a short breakup somewhere in the middle.
I can relate to the "short temper" thing. I remember on the first times there I was really impatient when I had to wait..... Western Union.... grocery etc.... Actually with the whole Covid 19 thing.... one of the things I am most thankful from my travels to the PH is..... PATIENCE. I learned to wait in line.... follow procedures that seem a little crazy.... etc.... etc.
Yup, you gotta have quite a bit of patience to keep your sanity here! If I’d never seen the west, I’d think the long lines were normal, but now they bother me too!
Hahahahaha
I feel that it is ok for foreigners to live in the Philippines. As long as they are able to behave themselves and respect the people around them and also respect the law of the land. We don’t need arrogance and ebegging in the Philippines. Keep it clean and pay your taxes. Cheers!
Well, you come to our countries to live, and we will go to yours to live. Exchange!
Yay I watched adds in your new video congrats on becoming a UA-cam super star :) the people you interviewed seem genuine hard to find people like them in US nowadays you will have 100 k+ subs in no time. Filipina Pea 🎆🎇🎆 much love from TEXAS

Well the woman might be using the older man for money, but he is also with her because she is young, attractive and probably makes him feel young again. So it's a balance. If both are getting what they want and are happy it shouldn't matter
Exactly, Johnny! Some people can call it ‘transactional’, but if both parties benefit from the transaction, then it’s a win-win. Why not? 😊

My experience in Thailand was pretty much along these lines, though Thai girls seem to have a healthy dose of desperation added to the mix and tilt heavily towards the transnational/opportunistic end of things, as some aspects of Buddhism even reject the concept of caring for the disabled or helping the poor ( the Dharma-Karma thing) . Family can have a greater influence in the relationship as well and sometimes I thought my girlfriend's mother was more interested in me than her own daughter; but that is another story altogether. I particularly did not enjoy the fact they are not very keen on foreigners who speak Thai, so as to be free to talk behind your back, right in front of you. They are also terrible about letting you know what is on any schedule and expect you to just go with whatever they say, especially when their family is involved. To me that was a deal breaker. I am an Engineer, I deal in absolutes and live and die by cause and effect, diligence and planning, even if there is room for changes in the plan.I learned the basics of Thai language even before going to to Thailand and became quite fluent in the two years I lived there and that gave me a window into Thai culture most foreigners are totally blindsided by. The Philippines have always been on my radar and as soon as this Covid-19 business allows, I will pay a visit. I have had many Filipino friends in the US and have yet to meet friendlier, or harder working people. The Filipina Pea has been a great source of raw, real information and the more I hear the more I think I should have visited the Philippines first, lol.
If a young pretty girl takes care of her old American guy, why shouldn't she be compensated materialistically? That's how it's worked since men and women have walked the earth.
This was a very good subject. As a foreigner in another country I would never want to offend anyone in their own country. That would be rude and condescending and the Filipinos as a people at least from my experiences are very warm and friendly people and the Philippines is is beautiful country. ❤️🙂
Great video Pea! I can't stand it when vloggers just walk around and point the camera at local people but have no interaction with them. I like to hear from local people about their daily lives and how they live. That way we can learn about their culture and this can make us more understanding of them when we visit their country. 😎👍
And that’s an advantage I have, being both female and a local - I can get almost anyone disarmed and talking to me 😊
Nice show with the locals giving their opinion. Maybe you should run a poll as well with maybe 200 people. If I ever go to an Asian country it would be Philippines, because people seem more friendly, most are Christians or subscribe to it, and there are a number of islands to hop to, basically seem as where I come from.
Thanks, Super View! Yes, a poll would be fun to conduct, and make a good video 😊
I've never had any bad experience being an "Americano" (not literally, I'm from Austria/Europe) in the Philippines. On the opposite. Nobody ever showed me that he disregards me. Of course this is also a question on how one behaves. Me being somebody who easily adopts local culture and behavior in non-white-countries and never consider myself something special, only because I come from a "rich, white country". My wife from Misamis Oriental would have never married me if I would be an arrogant Americano, who doesn't give a damn for the poor and needy in her area (she is from neither a poor nor a needy, but a well-educated, rather well-off-family). When there I never consider myself too good to do even heavy and/or dirty work when necessary at home and around. Our neighbors know that I'm always ready to help with minor things and the barangay's children love coming along before Christmas to carol, because they know that they will always get sweets in return. When one seems shy when I open the door to the compound to reward them I break the ice by saying: "Don't be shy, Americanos don't bite." It always works.
Yes, that would always work! Hahaha
Good morning Pea, myself I love being in your country, last year I was in Zamboanga del Sur for 30 days. The people everywhere I been have been friendly. Here in the United States everyone is stressed. Everything is go, go, go. Faster faster, when I come there everyone is so happy and mellow. There is only one thing that makes me sad is people throwing things out the window. You have such a beautiful country. Anyway the person who gets to set across the kitchen table from you every morning for coffee sure got the pretty one.
Thanks Ricky! And I sure could use that cup of coffee! 😊
When I watched this video, I had two main thoughts:
1) I am an American living here in Cebu with my wife. We live in a Barangay were I NEVER see another foreigner. We have to go to Ayala or SM City Mall or S and R to run across other foreigners. I prefer to avoid them as the ones that stick out are in large age-gap relationships- we’re talking men in their 70s and 80s with Filipina girlfriends in their early 20s. That initially creeped me out. I’m really not used to seeing that before in any country. I asked my wife about her opinion. Her response was both tactful but I also found it funny. She said, “It’s their business.” I questioned “business?” She said yes and we both laughed. She saw it both as their own personal business and also as a “business” arrangement. Since then, I have become more tolerant of these age-gap relationships. It was just something very new and different to me.
2) The second thought I had was that after I moved here and we were married, I noticed a large amount of UA-cam videos on topics like- 6, 10 or even 20 signs that you are dating a “good” Filipina. Or, similarly, what are the characteristics of a “good” Filipina. But what about being a good foreigner man?
I feel what’s missing in terms of “informative” videos is the other side of cross-cultural relationships. I may be wrong, but I feel most foreigners assume they have all the qualities needed to be with a Filipina.
It may end up being too strong of a “truth bomb,” but what I really feel is missing are videos such as 6,10 or 20 characteristics of a “good” foreigner man for dates, boyfriends, fiancés or husbands who come to the Philippines. Foreigner men could learn how to be a better partners to their beloved Filipina’s and... Filipina’s might be better prepared to choose the “right/good” foreigner that they might want to be involved with. It’s a two way street. It’s not all about finding the right/good Filipina. A successful relationship might arise when the foreigner is also a good man, himself. From my own experiences, it takes more than just a wallet and a set of promises to be a good partner or even husband to a Filipina. I feel this is a topic that is greatly overlooked- how to be a better man in a cross-cultural relationship with a Filipina. I’m still learning. I think such a video could help other men who are serious about being with a Filipina too.
PS: I love your videos! ☺️
Good ideas, Jose!! I’ll see if I can work ‘em into a video 😁
Great idea for a video!
That was a wonderful answer. Im married to a filipina and has been thinking the same thing. I would love to see that video pea. You need to find some foreigners in "longer" relationships and ask them what is a good foreign man qualities that a filipina should look for👍
Well said Jose. There is good and bad both sides. I also agree that not all foreigners coming to the Philippines have the qualities needed for a successful relationship.
thats truth and i dont care no 18 year old girl likes 70 year old wrinkely balls
...luv the Pea...straight up...smart real world talk.. and conversations...keep up the good work...and just became a new subscriber...
lmao 13:38 is amazing "because they're already old" this guy was very honest i like him
I agree( concur) with his opinion. It just seems completely weird. Here in the states the older gentleman would be looked down upon not only in the community, but in all 50 states. I believe the word we have for it is " pedophile"😂😂😂
From my perspective as a 64-year-old American man who plans to visit the Philippines as a single man,Your perspective was wonderful.I love your show, I loved it so much that I watched all of your commercials from beginning to end LOL. I follow old dog new tricks and saw you on his show and I’ve been a fan of yours now ever since....💕
Wow, Gene - THANKS!!! Wish I had more viewers like you 😘
Some Filipino men can have maybe a dozen women that don’t know about each other. It can make for a lot of drama. But like any guy they are very defensive. That is a bad situation to be in, please avoid being the second man.
Or the third! 😆
Very true
I had planned to be in Dumaguete already but the lockdown in metro Manila messed up my plans. I'm hoping to get there after the lockdown stops. I've been in the Philippines for almost 5 years now and only now just discovered your Chanel. I love your honesty and topics.
Thanks for finding me, Cedric! I’m glad you like my content 😊
That's why I love the Phillipines, because the my brothers and sisters there are the warmest🙂🙂
I was born in Cagayan but was adopted as a baby by western couple. I’ve lived in the UK all my life and have never been back to the Philippines but hoping to visit when the pandemic is calmer. I will admit, that I am slightly embarrassed that we get foreigners coming to PH to look for women, and it angers me that some are arrogant and they they think they own the place simply because they’re foreign and have more money. And this “colonial mentality” sickens me as well...having said that, I feel like a foreigner to the Philippines, but nonetheless proud of where I come from and am learning Tagalog, and even I visit I hope to feel my country and bond with my kabayans. Maybe you can do a video about how Filipinos feel about foreign Filipinos? That would really interest me! Thanks Pea ☺️
It's nice to hear the opinions of the locals. I'm glad to know that Filipinos do not feel like we ex-pats or aspiring ex-pats are stealing their women. Are the opinions expressed the same on the islands other than Negros and cities other than Dumaguete?
It seems to be consistent for everywhere in the Philippines except in the extreme northern areas, where foreigners - and even other Filipino tribes - aren’t as welcome
Great video Pea. You always pick interesting subjects for your videos. I learn a lot.......
Thanks David! I try to go where no one has gone before (now where have I heard that?) 😆
You are such a joyous person to watch, you interacting with the locals and laughing with them really brighten up my day, the last segment had me laughing so hard, thank god for The Pea. Love it ❤
Thanks Gluglas! I’m so happy you’re enjoying my content!! 😊
I enjoyed this - thank you. And these individuals seem to be gracious and hospitable. I feel badly when foreigners behave poorly so esp appreciate the tolerance of Filipinos.
Great content Pea nice things to know when the time comes.. but your ending was hilarious 😂its always a surprising n happy ending .. much respect Pea
wow! you answered the exact questions I had been wondering about... AWESOME job Filipina Pea!
Thanks Robert! Yes, I think those questions are only natural for a foreigner to have 😊
When she said 80/20 for the age gap relationship I almost spit out my coffee. That’s a bit extreme LOL. That makes up 💯%. I think a more accurate example would be 55/25 or 60/30. Love your videos and I am working my way through your entire collection.
60 year age gap. I hope I live that long.
Have you considered numbering your videos? I have seen your very early one's and just wonder if that is your first one and we can keep track of which one's we have seen.
My experience has been good so far, but I one thing I did notice was that in very public places, Sometimes people look at us and talk among themselves, it doesn't annoy me but sometimes It makes me uncomfortable
But who knows? They could be talking about your package! Hahahahaha
@@TheFilipinaPea I thought he was being serious.
Obviously the truth hurts, and this isn't something she is comfortable talking about, because we all know what they are saying...
Nice Video again love it!
I hope for many more of these Interview Videos from you.great idea and implementation!thumps up
Thanks, Andreas! Thumbs-ups help the video rating!!! 😊
The Pea - A beautiful, intelligent ambassador of sorts. I feel warmer to to Philippina people in general with her videos.
Thanks Michael!! I wish the locals felt that way about me! 😆
@@TheFilipinaPea What do you mean? Are you saying the locals don’t like you? Or just that they don’t appreciate you as much as you’d like?
Pea, Your smile Warms my heart ❤️! I just stumbled on your site and now I want to go to the Philippines😊
pea when I get to the Philippines I hope the people/girls I get to know are like you
Thanks, Ed! There’s only one Pea, but a lot of Pea-alikes! 😊
@@TheFilipinaPea - Would you call them Pea-tenders ?
Union of 2 individuals are basically the product of their aligned inner choices...(soul mates, ika nga) that pave the way to their physical partnership). They (both) followed the dictates of their inner selves (hearts)...Of course In our physical world, money is very important......but this is not the driving force for this 2 individuals to physically unite.....
Age doesn’t matter (very true)......and other physical attributes ay bonus na lang....
Ang “soul mates” ay parang magnanakaw sa gabi: hindi mo alam Kung kailan sila susulpot....😊Thank you...
You are covering topics NO ONE has covered. Salamat Po little lady
THANK YOU, Vernon! That’s exactly what I’m trying to do!! 😊
Wow really like that first guys attitude pretty cool definitely think that was pretty cool can't wait to see the next one you have in line for your next show
Another great video pea, professional as always, and what’s your view on your questions 😃😃
