What a great title. So true. I did a TEDx talk a couple of years ago on a similar idea. I live in silicon valley and everyone is so tech-centric here. No one talks about ecosystems.

Brilliant perspective on the significance of Ecology - technology has it's benefits, but we need to Re-Focus our Efforts on rejuvenating, conserving and restoring Nature, for both the Planet Earth itself and for our very own existence.

What would have to happen to earth for it to be less habitable than mars??

i don't consider elon musk an environmentalist. he's a technologist- and technology is synonymous with energy- right now its still fossil fuels.

What time stamp? He might have said "shore birds." Godwits are a type of shorebird.

I think he meant that in the presentation of the project the designers put green areas and pictures of birds to make a tech project look greener and more eco friendly than it actually is... Hence "shame" birds and green... It's a bit like green washing.

I think someone should make a serious interdisciplinary research about going back to some form of ecological global community, lay some groundwork. So we can say "here is the blueprint, do it" to the world leaders and the UN. Otherwise we have no choice but to rely on technology which is a dead end as we know it.

People around the globe are worrying about Global Warming and power plants that create
Green House Gases. Some of you hate technology and want to live a green life; others want to
use technology to help the planet by searching for another planet habitable for life: or you might
just be one citizen who loves the Earth. Whatever the case, we all want a better Earth. You can
all help by just reading a few books and watch some movies! My friends and I had tried these
ourselves, too. After you watch and read them, you might change your mind on quite a lot of
matters! Here are the books and movies and I hope you all will have a great time with them!
(Please read or watch them in the order that I labeled.)
    1. George’s Secret Key Series (by Stephen and Lucy Hawking)
    2. Star Wars (by George Lucas)
    3. Moon Base Alpha Series (by Stuart Gibbs)
    4. Fun Jungle Series (by Stuart Gibbs)
    Thanks!

We sure are. Too much going on. Materialistic and unconcerned about the dire consequences that we ate seeing. Unbalanced.

We're very proud of you, son.

A perfect report card, all B's.

    Very proud.

Ma! I got a thing going here.

    - You got lint on your fuzz.
    - Ow! That's me!

    - Wave to us! We'll be in row 118,000.
    - Bye!

    Barry, I told you,
    stop flying in the house!

    - Hey, Adam.
    - Hey, Barry.

    - Is that fuzz gel?
    - A little. Special day, graduation.

    Never thought I'd make it.

    Three days grade school,
    three days high school.
