Roxy is my favorite character from all Homestuck (I've read just until the Epilogues) and (at this point) Dirk was the one I most identified with, so yeah, this didn't made me want to die or anything...
I’ve always loved Dirk and Roxy’s friendship. If the ethics of paleshipping gay characters weren’t blurry, I would even say I think they’d make great moirails!
@@creditroll176 because since Dirk is gay, some people think shipping him with a female character (even paleshipping, which is supposed to be like best friends for humans, but is considered a form of troll romance) is not correct. I do think that using gay characters in straight pairings that are romantic (like red or black ships) is not good, but I think moiraillegiance and auspicistism should be allowed because they might be romantic from an alien standpoint, but for us they’re platonic. But I still don’t wanna risk the wrath of some fans

@@louzo5175 straight people aren’t oppressed and having head cannons that a character isn’t straight won’t affect you at all, either way no one is turning straight characters gay or otherwise because if they identify with that label then they were always that label in the first place. Giving queer people representation and defending that representation is helpful in overcoming a lot of social and systemic oppression put in place by straight people. There is no double standard.
This would be a great dub if it wasn't done to art made by m/les aka theonlyc//iroll. Don't get me wrong, I used to love the art style but that got ruined really quick when I (and many others) realise what a huge piece of shit they are. Very toxic person in the hs community, I'd steer clear of them at all costs.

I'm in at least 3 discord servers where he is blacklisted from being mentioned for the amount of shit hes pulled. Worst of all he alienates his young audience into uses them to his advantage which is super gross.
