Man, you can pack a ton of useful information in an incredibly concise and visually appealing manner (other good hardware channels might take twice as long to present the same information)! I really admire that in your channel!! Thank you!!!
I love the R series. I've built dozens of pcs in the R5. My main rig is the R6 and this new 7 looks like they fixed all the minor annoyances with previous gens.
I just picked up a define 7 a couple of days ago. I think they may have fixed their QC issues with the drive cage. My drive trays came out very smoothly with little effort.
Hi! I’ve been a member of the pc community for a long time and am pretty active but I love your videos, as even though I have usually heard about the peripherals in the video, you are a non-Bs reviewer and it’s awesome. Couple things- 1) your mouse reviews are awesome but pls review tiger skates! They’re not as popular as hyperglides but I think they’re better. 2) kbs are cool but a video on different switches will be cool, I love a lot of switches but I don’t trust some of the reviewers that praise everything, 3) on mouse reviews 1 thing to add is to talk about how they affect flicks and tracking, you do that on some but not all videos 3) ur audio videos are awesome but make a new video on the AD700x as in my opinion they’re the ultimate gaming headphone solution! Also you have a huge influence on the community, maybe make a video debunking myths about how surround sound will make you better. Thanks man, keep gaming an keep making these awesome videos !
I am considering getting a new case... I currently have a Lian Li O11 Dynamic XL; I originally got it because I wanted to do a custom loop and it fit my ideal for that nicely , but now I've decided that's too much hassle. Cable management has also been a problem, as I have been too lazy to figure out how to get the drive cages out in order to route behind them comfortably, so there's just a rat's nest hanging out the side of the case with the right side panel off. Main reason I'm thinking of switching is that within teh last week or so, my fans have just started randomly getting loud as fuck, up to 1400 RPM or so. The fan noise has always bothered me, but it was at least tolerable before. I've set custom curves, cleaned the 360mm rad out with a blower vac, vacuumed out all the dust, tried different things, but no matter what I do I'll just be sitting here watching UA-cam and the 3900X will kick up to 58-60C and the fan ramps up. Because of this I am thinking of getting a case that supports 140mm fans everywhere and a NH-D15 / bunch of chromax black Noctua fans. Aesthetically, I love the look of the Evolv X, but am concerned I'll have the fan noise. Other considerations are the Phanteks Eclipse P600s, which is basically an Evolv X with sound dampened panels on all sides, and the Define 7 / Define 7 XL. One of my concerns with the Phanteks cases is the motherboard 24-pin cable; I have the Gigabyte X570 Auros Xtreme, an E-ATX motherboard 270mm wide, which greatly limits my selection of cases to begin with. Those little plastic covers in the Phanteks cases I've seen it's pretty tight with 90-degree motherboard connectors like mine. The Define 7 looks like my motherboard would go over the grommet at least somewhat, but mainly I am just not sure if the sound dampening would really help, or if getting a Fractal case but with a side panel window would make the sound dampening on the other panels moot. Ugh.
This does look like a neat case; however, I've already bought the Meshify C....3 times. All 3 of the computers in my house are in the Meshify C. The 3rd one came in today and I put my HTPC in it. The HTPC was in the Cooler Master N200; but after building in the Meshify C, the N200 is an absolute nightmare.
My room is way away from my router, would a WiFi extender be a good option for a gaming pc? If so could someone explain how it works and what else I'd need to connect it to my pc? Thanks
it'd be more effort but I'd say go for an Ethernet cable, much more reliable imo. You can route it either under your floor/through a wall, or buy those metal cable sleeves to protect/hide it and run it through your house
@@mehemynxm6974 My WiFi connection is still strong to my Ps4 and I'm able to have good pings on the games I play, so would it not be a better option to go for a WiFi stick?
Effay Filipinyo Ethernet is just better because you’re literally CONNECTED to whatever you get you WiFi from and that’s better than WiFi because there’s always going to be some sort of latency so you might as well reduce it as much as you can.
Will you be making any kind of review on Invyr switches or the Zeal Rosélios / Sakurios switches? Just curious, big fan of the way you do your switch reviews.
Did you mention the extra accessory for the top vent? Other channels mentioned that it is an extra that you have to buy seperately. If I missed it, my bad.
I'm in love. The only thing that bothers me is the pattern on top. Why don't it match!? The zig-zag pattern is very nice looking but it's ruined by the dust filter. :(
It truly is a work of art :) - especially with the window, so you can go crazy with LEDs etc. if you want (no: No watercooling - not worth the expense, I'd rather get a better CPU and/or GPU with that money!) to or leave it as it is (ps: I wouldn't call it a "sleeper" build, because frankly that case looks amazing - it's not ugly! Only ugly PCs should be hidden!) ps: I have just ordered the XL (well: A few days ago)...should be here tomorrow, so this weekend? PC building time :) (waited 9 years to do a new one for myself, my old system is from 2011 - only the GPU was replaced twice and an SSD added!)
BadSeed Tech ahhhh my bad mate..I should have looked more in to the options on the case 🤣 Another solid review, & hopefully that Sim-Rig build is on it’s way soon
Still front door open very narrow only to 90 degree, they should minimum to 180 degree or even to the side of case 270 degree, still they can do this corectlly. Case should be 2-3 cm taller, and shorter on deep, it's deeper even that R5. I prefer HDD cages like it was in Define R5. On another minus they remove second 5.25 bay since R6. Overall great case, one of the best on world, but still not perfect in all apsects.

Thank you man! First and foremost, I try to make content thats respects the viewers’ time. Thats always goal number 1.
@@badseedtech id have to agree and this goes with any of your reviews
I also wanted to make this comment but checked first to see if any one else already said it...... I couldn't be the only one thinking this right?
Couldnt have said it better myself. Obvious a lot of time and effort goes into the script
Right?
That “LETS GO” keeps me going man
Fractal are hands down my favourite brand for cases. Just the layouts, the modularity, the aesthetics, it's all perfect.
Been looking for a good vid about the 7 and I found it! So much info and very well presented. You've made a sub out of me sir
Awesome review man. Dat detail.
Best coverage of this cabinet. Thanks Bro 👌👌

Still rocking a Define R4 Blackout Edition only thing i wish it had was usb-c otherwise excellent case to work in and this only looks better.
Surprised you’re not more of a SFF enthusiast. This case a way bigger than I could ever need. It’s very well done, I’m just not the target audience.
I just picked up a define 7 a couple of days ago. I think they may have fixed their QC issues with the drive cage. My drive trays came out very smoothly with little effort.
I just ordered this for the pc build I think it's a very flexible design and really like the white on black colour scheme.

Looking forward to doing some water cooling in this case!
I’m hanging onto this one for JUST that reason 😉
BadSeed Tech oh yeah 😁
Man, definitely going to pick up a Fractal case for my build instead of a NZXT for the build I have planned. This looks awesome
Great review only thing I would have liked to see is thermal performance and fan noise in db.
I hardly ever bother unless either are notably poor. I could never hope to measure thermals like Gamers Nexus.
Hopefully there's a mini C version coming

Love the vids
Might use this for my new build!
I love all your content

Epic intro brother
I'm still running the old r5 :P.
Fractal cases are goated for sure. I love my r6

@badseedtech can you do a review on the novelkeys cream switch and show if any rgb light an shine through the gap
that is a really nice case love it

Love the case so far, but it just looks like there is so much extra space between the mobo and the front fans if you go regular atx. Is it just me?
Can you still fit the x3 140mm fans or a 360 aio up front not issues with the cover panel installed up front ??? Thanks in advance

A Meshify C but a bit larger would be nice
SOLD
The Cooler Master Q300L is all I will ever need in a case and use for a case 😎Very Swaggy
U should check out some cool ITX setups
Will they have a version of this case with solid sidepane?.
Yes, we do offer the Define 7 and the Define 7 XL with solid side panels.
I have the meshify C but might upgrade to this sometime in the future. Great review Brian. What RAM are you using? Neat lighting effects!
Meshify C is a such a great case. Miss mine. And thats the Gigabyte Aorus ram - its really nice

I like the case, but I hate the door. Good video though.
My only grumble, is that white back drop....hopefully their is a black on black!
Oh there definitely is. I just wanted something a little different.

I really dislike the fan controller. It should have 9 pwm headers and zero 3-pin headers. Kinda of a waste imo.
Standarsd 140mm Fractal vents are 3-pin, in the Define7.
Make ITX cases.

I wonder what he'd look like without the beard... but dont shave it or I'll sue
