Secret "Expert mode" menu on Flymo 1200r

- On the Flymo 1200r keypad, if you hold key 7 and 9 for ~2s you enable an "Expert" extra menu. This menu gives you the following features:
Estimated capacity of the battery in mAh. Very handy for knowing when your battery is getting old.
Sensor test menu. For example, you can test the tilt sensors, the bump sensors, etc
Motor test menu. For example, you can test the cutter motor, the wheel motors
Statistics menu
Boundary wire tests. Could be handy for finding breaks in the wire
And others that I cant remember
I would assume this extra feature will work with other rebadged Husqvarnas such as
Automower® 105

Gardena R40Li
Gardena R45Li
Gardena R50Li
Gardena R70Li
Gardena R80Li
McCulloch ROB R600
McCulloch ROB R800

Thanks for this , my screen said motor blocked and used the 7/9 buttons to access test sequences and it’s working fine now
If you go into another category,I think it's tools, you can run the mower without a boundary wire signal. It then runs until it's out of charge,and navigates by bumping into things.

Super, forgot how to enter the service menu on my mother in law’s Gardena R40Li which is the same/similar machine. Swapping out the battery for the 2nd time on season 7 now. Going to check status before and after the swap to be a bit scientific about it this time.

I am repeatedly getting a fault where the mower stops and says it is stuck in the charging station even though it is not.
My docking station has suddenly stopped illuminating solid green. It’s not illuminating at all? I checked the power cable and everything seems fine but now there’s no power and the mower says no loop signal so doesn’t work. I’m stumped!
Did you check with a multimeter?
Try redoing all your connectors. Mine rotted over winter. Cut them off and reconnect (new connectors even better) and see if things improve. I had a flashing blue no loop that went green after doing that.
Did you ever find a solution ? I have the same issue with mine also. No lights and no loop signal message.

** 700m2, not 400m2 **
I am using the flymo 1200 R mower on 700m2 of lawn.
I installed it yesterday, and used all the provided 150 m of boundary and had to add an extra 60 m to complete the perimiter loop (210 m perimiter in total) for my 700m2.
I then laid out the return wire and this is about 30 m long.
I was worried that there might be too mich resistance with all the extra wire but everything works perfectly.
No boundary over runs or anything like that.
The mower is currently running. Whenit parks to recharge I'm going to see if I can change the timers to be more effective using the expert mode. Hopefully there is something in there to adjust these.
The mower certianly ahs the technical capability to do 700m2 but there mower firmware is configured to park the mower at rest at least 12 hours oer day. This is a nuisance.
Hopefully someone hacks this mower and produces a firmware that allows different times for different days of the week and also better up time than only 12 hours a day.

Great to know, I am having No loop found problems and this should the Loop signal level at 0 even though I have a green light.
I had to redo my connectors today due to the wires rotting over winter. Maybe worth a check if you didn't fix it before.
