Trans TikToker Grant Sikes is documenting his "days of girlhood" the same way fellow Trans TikTok star Dylan Mulvaney documents his new life. Dylan has grown a massive following with fans absolutely obsessed with him. Grant, on the other hand, is not receiving the same praise online. Perhaps, in part, because of things like this...

Just because you're homeless doesn't mean you have to look like you're homeless! We had walked all over town trying to find apartments and go to work and walk back and forth to the church that we were sleeping at and we were walking all day! I'm glad that you and your wife are no longer in that situation! Its an incredibly stereotypical and offensive outlook on how females live their lives. As a man, I only know part of, how should I say this... How not fun it is to be a female, with periods and birth control, I have 3 sisters, 1 brother. There are 5 kids in our family, 3 girls, 2 boys, and I have a great respect for females, I think it is a gift and a honor to be in the presence of a biological female. It is not bigoted to say this, as a transgender supporter, it is not offensive to say "Grant is making it a joke". Why can't people think logically instead of emotionally? Life is rough and makes you uncomfortable all the time, and the best thing to do is think on what you can do to make it better. One story I was told was that a group of the military (I forgot which branch sadly) where this fire team was breaching an enemy base and one person got injured. Instead of securing the area and then tending to their fallen soldier, they all died because they prioritized their commrade. Always think logically instead of letting your emotions take over.

Ever notice how movies glorify sending in a team of people to save one singular person and at the end all those people, sometimes with the exception of one, die to retrieve the one person. That's the false morality people have been fed since childhood. The "enemy" would rather kill themselves when captured to not betray the team was portrayed as bad and barbaric. But when you think about it, that option is better for most. You don't betray your team/people and nobody has to throw their life away to attempt a rescue that costs more lives than it saves. Maybe that's why this trend of tossing the majority the dogs for the sake of a few is so common these days.

i have family like this. they say they're non binary and they love doing what i call "cos playing homeless/broke" they looove talking about how poor they are, how they're suffering, how they can't afford food or heating. but all their money goes to drugs and video games and liquor. they all come from very well off families that they themselves have cut themselves off from. and to me it's just so disrespectful. there's so many people out there genuinely struggling. hearing this 24 yr old family member cry about how he's "pretty much homeless" and can't afford heating and begging his mom for more money because "i haven't eaten in days" (they're sob stories, that's all they are) and "i'm hiding under five layers of blankets because i can't afford heating" while watching him flash $250 video games and accessories is infuriating. he goes out drinking and clubbing every night. he's always buying new vape things. he's always buying new video games and action figures and sets of things. and they're expensive as heck. then he cries about how broke he is and how he can't afford to feed himself or buy soap. like are you kidding me?? that's another thing. he won't bathe either. and not for any mental health reason. he legit said he likes the attention he gets when people stare at him when he smells badly. meanwhile there's actual homeless people who try so hard to find places to bathe and clean themselves. this is why i say it's "cosplaying being homeles/broke" they love the attention and sympathy it gives them.

I'd been thinking for a long time that so many people hang out on the internet in their non-productive hobbies and ask communities for donations when they're too lazy to stop what's easy and fun, and go out and get something useful to themselves done. If you're not bringing in an income, you need to have a think what's wrong with you instead of blaming your circumstances, and change yourself to be better so that you can feed yourself and then help others and contribute to your society.

4:09 as a gen Zer how financially illiterate my generation is blows my mind sometimes. Like the other day I was explaining to people if you want to have a MIDDLE CLASS lifestyle with children, you need to make at least 50k a year. I THEN had dozens of people telling me I was wrong. And you could raise a family with only 30k a year. The average American family spends 20k per year on ONE CHILD! So no you could not have a family and be considered middle class with only 30k a year. But try convincing this to gen Zers. I think they think kids are like Barbie’s or something and it’s like you just have to buy them accessories and that’s all.

    • @mattmammone2338

Inflation and other financial factors have lead to a generation of kids that won't be as well off as the families they grew up in. Most kids think they will at least be as well off, but since 2008 things have been different. Kids are used to a certain level of affluence, and many of them In America don't consider their families wealthy even though the are compared to most of the world. Middle class in America is a very comfortable life and the Tik tok generation takes it for granted.

    • @mattmammone2338

I was born in 1990, maybe I have a different perspective because I grew up around people who were super wealthy, like for example i went to school with a kid whos parents separated, and the father built the mother a 3 bedroom house on one acre of the 5 acre property "until she could get back on her feet" lol, but I traveled a lot too and saw how most people in the US live.
