What I’m doing myself is real modeling using glow engines, balsa planes and radio gear from independent manufacturers.

Thank you Jurgen, yup I agree with you, Balsa and Nitro great. I do like the electric foam as they resemble planes that I love full scale.
I do love Balsa thou as you can make the plane your own with some tweaks, and hey, the sound of a good four stoke nitro something special. ITMA! ITFF!! That plane needs to be towing a banner that says "Billy Smart's Circus - In Town Today!" I'm no nitro lover, but that engine is a beautiful piece of engineering. So much to look forward to for '23 with DRCH!

I've always like the Space Walker, I think you'll be able to fly her easily with your experience Chris, when you check the cg do it upside down (the model ... not you!) letting the fuselage hang down. I suspect by now you realise the four bolts underneath are for the undercarriage, cheers.
Heya Cliff my friend, yup I did cut out for the video when I realised what the bolts was. I will replace with nylon, so they break on a rough landing instead of the Fus. I have heard great things about the old girl, so I hoping she be a calm and enjoyable flight. Note to self, don’t stand on my head when sorting the Cg, Check. If you don't chew on the glued bits or the covering you should be in clear. Space Walker is a nice classic for sure, great looking Saito Twin, Merry Christmas, Jeff in LA USA

Spacewalkers are forgiving. I’m sure u will bond nicely with it Chris .. looks like some nice space with the cockpits for some face detailing .. if u don’t want to build instruments.. txt me and I will build u some scale ones with measurements .. with the hatches .. old motor magnets work a treat … thanks for the unboxing. I’m in workshop and I know how cold your toes are. Lol. Good show

Hi there, I'm just seeing this video now for the first time and I have to tell you that you will absolutely love flying this plane. I have it also and I've been flying it for 5 years now and never once crashed. Its a lovely stable aircraft to fly , mine is powered with a Saito 62 fourstroke. It takes off and lands beautifully. It's one of my favourite planes to fly and I know that you will love yours too when the time comes for flying. Take care and I wish you a very Happy and healthy New year. P.S Your Saito engine will be perfect for that plane. The extra power you will have will be fantastic. You can't go wrong with a Saito fourstroke.

I had an ART VMAR spacewalker about 30 years ago used a GMS 2 stroke in it, ....it is a nice stable platform...

Hi John, yup the spitfire needs work we’re the wings join the fuse. I am waiting for V2 hangar to arrive before I modify and fix her. (More Space), with any luck she will fly next year. For now I wanted two goto planes ready for when I get the chance ti fly. Thanks the Space Walker and the Max Thrust. Hope you are keeping well, Have a great week and a wonderful Christmas 🎄
