    I play all these songs in bar sets!! This song hits home for me after been a heroin addict in New York for 15 years !! But I’m home In Ireland 🇮🇪 now I got lucky a lot of my mates did not !! 🇮🇪🇮🇪🎸🎸🎸🎸

      I hear you my friend, I also find comfort, strength, distraction etc in music that you feel deep in your belly....also been on the Bakerloo line from age 14 now in my 40s and still on and off the train....keep up the hard work mate....much respect to you 🙏👍🫡

    This song was playing in the funeral home massy's I think I was massy's it was in rathfarman point of the story this song was beautiful and really seem to catch the spirit of Father I never heard of Dan Mccabe before that day, now every time I hear this song by Dan it reminds me of my father, we used of Dad's being there you think they will always there I miss and love you Dad so much really wish you were still here, RIP PEACE BIG MAN 🙏🙏🙏

      Nope. The radio series "The Nobody Zone" about Kieran Kelly used this song because it was apt for the story but the song was written by Jimmy McCarthy, long before the Kieran Kelly story surfaced, the details of which remain quite obscure.
