Sir no offence.. I am also a psychology pass out.. But i feel there are many fancy topics in psychology one opts for as their phd topic.. I don't find the cost benefit analysis of such phd's.. If you see in reality only jobs related to clinical psychology is available.. I have worked in training and development TATA POWER. I don't think as of now organizational psychology has made it's mark in India. Companies prefer only HR MBA for psychology related post also (specific to industrial and Organizational behavior) . It is at the end about getting a good job because one invest so much time and energy. If you look at the market scenario.. Even if you want to reach higher up the ladder you must have an MBA specialization.. It sounds nice and fancy to say I am doing a phd in an around leadership issues.. But at the end I personally feel we all know the job prospectus of such topics is near to zero(personal experience) . According to what I have seen regarding the job Prospectus.. Ample job for clinical psychology as of now.. Be it private or government.. Good remuneration.. I would suggest people to look through employment newspaper daily and see how the job scenario is in India with respect to psychology and thn go ahead with phd.. This will help you be at better position mentally...

Hi very helpful video 👍🏻 I want to know that can we select our supervisor who is not from DU. Is it possible to select a supervisor who was in your master's program? I have completed my master's program from IGNOU and your videos gives me lots of motivation and knowledge because as a distance master's student I was quite clueless that what to do next but now I think I know what I want to pursue. :) Would appreciate if you could answer my query.
Hello Parnika !!! You can choose them to be your Advisor or co-supervsior with permission from your Supervisor.
Any institute only allows their own Professors as the Primary Supervisor, and DU, too, does the same. They have a list of some really good Professors to be your potential Supervisor.

Can we do PhD psychology after MBA HR ? Plz confirm. Seeing different info in different sites .
You can do it but remember a PhD can only be done in the subject of your Masters degree and then you and your supervisor can choose any topic even related to Management or any particular topic that relates your subject and your interests or whatever you choose.
