Hello ma'am. Thank you so much for this information. But I have a problem applying for the admission for mphil psychology and i tried calling gmch staff but didn't really get any response. So it will be grateful if you can tell me how to apply, as I'm not able to get online admission link for the same. On the website i can see online registration which needs a USER ID and I have no Clue about that. So it will be grateful if you could help me out, as I'm really stressed about it. Thank you. This year, GMCH changed its seat distribution - 1 seat for General Non UT pool, 5 seats for General UT pool, 1 seat for SC UT pool, 0 seats for SC Non UT pool.
UT pool includes students who have completed their Master's in psychology from colleges in Chandigarh.

Whether you have dissertation or not .. it does not impact your M.Phil admission.
MPhil admission is purely based on entrance exam and interview.
Agar mai ignou se mA krta hu to kya kishi or university me me m.phil ke liye admission posibil hai n ma'am.

MPhil me koi benefit nhi milta hai and na PhD me. Kaafi Universities PhD ke liye apko Direct Interview ke liye bulate hai. Magar Stipend na PhD me and na MPhil me milta hai NET ka. PhD me apko non-NET Fellowship mil sakti hai and MPhil me apko apke institute ki taraf se jo stipend hai woh milegi which is irrespective of Net or non Net.

@annu 19bap999 I started doing PhD but yes, you can do MPhil with an open university degree
It wouldn't be of use to use because I am not doing it from India, but there are people who have done it from DU and other universities. You just need to clear the UGC net.
