I appreciated the commonsense pauses at the blind corners to check for oncoming traffic. Class!! Fast and safe enough, good stuff mate! Am thinking this will be my upgrade from my Kawasaki W650 in spring this year.
Thanks man! Yeah can always wait an extra 2 seconds to make sure its safe! Awesome! You will love it. Out of all the bikes I've owned, the Street Triple 765 is bar far the best!
Excellent 👍 At 8.20 you said I love this bike! Too which I’d said I’ll !!!immediately bet you do . Very nice flowing road / and the scenery!! 🙌🙌 Awesome vid mate 👍 Am sitting here late arvo ,end of weekend enjoying a 🍻watched 3 Of your vids /on discovery of you today Thanks appreciate 🇳🇿🤙✌️
What a nice video, thanks for the upload! Got my 22 Street RS a few weeks ago, first bike and I´m a new rider. Loving every second on it, so easy to handle and confidence inspiring I almost forget how much it is capable of. I can practice my low speed drills as much as I want, yet I take it to the twisties and have an absolute blast, amazing engine/brakes/tyres/electronics to enjoy safely. I´m still far from using all of it´s potential, but so far having a lot of fun unlocking it step by step. Cheers, and keeping riding safe!
Thanks! Awesome man thats good to hear! really nice bike to start with! Very forgiving and the perfect amount of power to grow into and learn. It really is an amazing machine and youll love it! Thanks for watching and the comment :D Ride safe! 😎🤙
When I mentioned Cape Town to Cuban Rider he pointed to your channel. Very nice video. Great route through Franschoek pas. I will share my experience soon. I am a noob on an XR.
Great ride, great bike, ive had 1000cc + bikes for a long time, just bought an old cbr 600, so much more fun, going to buy this bike next month cant wait, thanks :) ps, love the no music straightforward approach on your video
Thanks for the comment! I have an older video on my Tuono that uses a long pole to show body position on this particular road. Check it out! ua-cam.com/video/TjXMW3d-7Ak/v-deo.html
First off, the street triple is probably my favourite bike so kudos for doing it justice. Second, where in SA is this? I can tell it's don't recognize the area.
Thanks! Here are my settings. Camera: GoPro Hero 7 Black with Wind Cover Settings: Pro Tune ON 2.7k 60fps Shutter Speed: 1/120 (Frame rate must be double your shutter speed when using an ND filter) ND 8/16 lens filter ISO Min: 100 ISO Max: 100 (Only use this for sunny days) Sharpening: Low or None Mics: Auto and Wind Colour: Flat
Perfect amount of power for the road and track and loads of fun. You can rev the bike out and enjoy it. The low end torque is great as well. Highly recommended.
I’m having a little throttle delay especially on other modes. I’ve tried to turn off the TC but this doesn’t sound cool to me.. Do you have any feedback for throttle delay, lag? I’m trying to understand is it occurring only on my bike or not. Thank you
@ Hmmm i havent experinced that myself but I have read about it on the Triumph Forums, take a look on Triumph RAT forum or Triumph forum and youll come across some threads. I pretty much only rode my bike in track mode as I found the others a bit unnesscessary. Track has the best throttle response.
Is that a 2021 RS? coz of the colors, II plan to buy one for the next season, if it's a 21 does it have a qs/blipper already or do I need to get a 3rd party one? I heard only the 22+ has both as default. I fell in love with the streety so fast, can't wait until I have it next year
Hi! It's a 2020 RS. Comes with the blipper as standard. Only the 2019 and older don't come with the down blip. Great bike you'll love it! Check my other reviews on it. Thanks for watching!
@@DarkRiderMotovlogs awesome to hear, so Im save to buy any 20+ RS I saw your daytona review, Im jealous haha :D and thanks for your quick answer! I'm so hyped to buy one
I recently got the street triple and was wondering if you had a tail tidy and if so which one did you get ?? Also if you could point me in the direction of aftermarket parts for this bike I would appreciate it
Hi! I have a locally made tail tidy that is pretty much the same as the R&G one. But you can look at R&G or Evotech etc, otherwise eBay there are loads of generic tail tidies. For aftermarket parts also check eBay, there are quite a few vendors selling Triumph accessories and upgrades etc for a bit cheaper than the dealers would. I only have a tail tidy, Triumph frame sliders and a Yoshimura AT2 link pipe and slip on exhaust.
Hi! Go Pro is mounted using a home made epoxy putty chin mount. Basically use the GoPro tripod head and epoxy it to the helmet. I could make a video if you are interested.
Just track mode and it'll let you wheelie a bit. It does interfere sometimes but brings you down very smoothly. TC off and you'll be able to wheelie easily.
It really depends. I'd say you'd need to test both and decide what best suits your riding style. There are quite a few videos on UA-cam that compare the two. I haven't had a chance to ride the 890 yet so I can't really comment.
I'd say so. Take a look at my other video where I explain a few of the mall annoying things. But overall id say its worth it. The new colours are coming in 2023 and the black and bronze looks amazing if you can wait for that. I'll be doing a 1 year ownership video soon where I go over the costs etc.
Thanks! Yes I find it to be enough, even after owning many 1000cc bikes. The 765 has just the right amount of power to have a lot of fast fun on the road without that crazy 1000cc feeling. Also nice and light makes the handling amazing! Pro1: Super smooth and powerful engine! Pro 2: Amazing handling and brakes and suspension! (Ok maybe I cheated a bit but there are many good thing about this bike! Con1: Rider mode needs to be set every time you start the bike, it doesnt stay in the mode you leave it in (unless its sport) Con2: It doesnt need all the modes, too many options for a "low capacity" bike. Its trying to be like a big bike where power modes make a difference. There are small things here and there that some people may find a con but what I stated above are the main ones for me. Thank you for watching and commenting :)

Fast riding with no stupid overtakes and stayed in his own lane. 🤘🏍️
That's fucking paradise. I live in the US and those roads make my locals look like the surface of the moon.
Gosh, you can hear (!) how smooth the quickshifter is ❤️
Amazing road, the curves and the scenery. However, you and your friends riding skills are on another level. A good video.

You got lucky on a few of those corners! 😆
Epic ride. I am bringing my RS down there in March to ride there.
Awesome! You're going to love it.
Cant believe it.
A sport rider with common sense to wait before passing on blind corners.
What a fantastic road! 🙂
Amazing road, great rider(with common sense), love the video.
Really cool riding dude, to many videos you see riders getting themselves and others into danger.
Thanks man 👍😎
Nice video, that triple sound . ive had 3 of these got the new silver ice 2022 one now, waiting for dry roads :)
It is rly nice to have weather whole year for enjoy on motorcycle :)

Thanks! I have a Yoshimura AT2. Sounds great!
I've always wanted one...
Great riding and beautiful roads. May I ask where this is?
Cape Town, South Africa
765, R1, 2015 GSXS 750, guessing the other guy was R1 but barely visible for a second at 6:07
Close! Was a R6 and the yellow bike was a Aprilia Tuono.
More than enough power would you say? I think bang for buck they are at the top?
Perfect amount of power for the road and track and loads of fun. You can rev the bike out and enjoy it. The low end torque is great as well. Highly recommended.

Hello , from Thailand
Hello! Thanks for watching 😎👍
Where is it ? What are you disabling to do wheelings ?
Bike must be in track mode or rider mode to do wheelies. Or turn off traction control in the menu.
I recently got the street triple and was wondering if you had a tail tidy and if so which one did you get ?? Also if you could point me in the direction of aftermarket parts for this bike I would appreciate it

Thanks! I was looking at the one from BRogue Motorcycles but wasn’t sure if it was any good
Should I swap my 890 ktm for this ?
I'd suggest taking it for a test ride and deciding if you like the triple vs the twin motor. Both are amazing with their own unique characteristics.
Great video! Is that the standard exhaust? :O
Thanks! No I have the Yoshimura RT2 fitted.
What is this road called and where shoots is if?
Franschhoek Pass in Cape Town South Africa 😎👍
I love It ❤️
Does this matte black version scratch a bit? I mean it seams to me you need to be very careful with it
Hi! Surprisingly it doesn'tt scratch. I don't have a single scratch on my bike in around 6 months. The paint is very good.
@@DarkRiderMotovlogs good to know thanks!

Hi! Go Pro is mounted using a home made epoxy putty chin mount. Basically use the GoPro tripod head and epoxy it to the helmet. I could make a video if you are interested.

I'll be doing a 1 year ownership video soon where I go over the costs etc.
I’m a motorbike noob, do you not need to use the clutch to shift gears? Looks like you don’t use it at all.
Hi! That's correct. My bike has a quick shifter which allows you to shift up and down without the use of the clutch! Very cool tech

@@Hankxii stock! Lots of the modern bikes now come with these systems. BMW. Aprilia. Ducati. Triumph. Kawasaki. Yamaha etc.
