Excellent video! Glad to know I am not the only one with an ever growing collection of radios. I too keep radios to answer questions. Then there are those radios I just plaine regret selling..... i.e., the Yaesu FT-857D
I had debated so much between the Yaesu FTDX101D/MP and the 7610 but as I loved my Icom 7300 so much and after giving a Flex 6400M a try I am very Happy with the Addition of the Icom 7610 (still have 7300 as well……couldn’t part with it as it is too a great radio and uses less power when listening plus it’s a great back up rig as well). Also love my 705! Thanks for the videos…..love to hear your thoughts between your new 7610 and FTDX101D! 73
Hi we have the same radios , lol I keep them all now , The Yaesu 101 is also fantastic and a keeper do I need it ? no , but do I love it yes it's a beast , the slight annoyance is the need for SCULan 10 for Internet. The Waterfall on 7610 is better , 73
Can that waterfall smear be prevented when tuning around? Ive got a Kenwood TS890S and wirh averaging on it don't smear like this radio does when tuning around the bands.
God bless, I don't have much courage to try again and buy another piece. The discussion forum is full of this error, because the manufacturer used an ultra-cheap wifi module for an otherwise conceptually great radio. I used software from Marcus to control it.@@HamTechRadioScannerDrones
Wow surprised to hear such a high failure rate, screen technology today has never been better. What is the issue? Makes me think twice about purchasing one…
Jesus christ, you were operating this rig, using filters, NR, and a lot of others features , and never touched the main receiver volume, you could never hear any difference, you never had the main audio activated. This rig is just amazing, just try again.
Sales for the 7610 must be increasing after your excellent presentations Jonathan 👍
Well done

Interesting you find the waterfall better on the 7610?
I can only compare with my FTDX10

Many thanks!
Tak hlavně ať to vydrží fungovat, display, AGC atd. Moje IC705 vydržela fungovat dokonce 2 měsíce než jí odešel wifi modul na základní desce.
Shame as my 705 WiFi works for 2 years no problem .
