🇬🇧: The seven women of the scull selection of the Dutch Rowing Association (KNRB) and their head coach talk about their experiences of elite sport. What are they doing and nót doing to maximize their performance at the 2021 Tokyo Olympics? And what did postponing the Games do to their motivation and what did that mean for their lives . Video footage of training sessions in Amsterdam, but also of their training camps in Sierra in the Spanish mountains and Seville, interspersed with interviews with the women and their coach, show how elite sport has influenced the lives of these seven rowers. The documentary is a penetrating portrait of these seven women who do everything to get a gold medal at the 2021 Games. This is the real life of elite athletes, highs ands lows, suffering, group dynamics and all the sacrifices that come with elite sport. Including English subtitles.
