Looks like some fun flowy stuff. Close call there at 9:00. Got up north for my first ride in the mountains this weekend. That cooler weather sure was nice!
Watching your video brought back a lot of wonderful memories. Friends & I rode Kennedy Meadows in the 70s. Many landmarks are the same there wasn't a bridge across fish creek. ,I rode a Bultaco 250 pursang. I'll be 69 in Sept, and recently had to sell my last dirtbike. Fused back. I've had to trade for an XRS Turbo RR with suspension seats, and a quad paramotor.
We go up to Kennedy every year for 2 weeks in either June or July. I love it and have been coming up since I was kid but my group have been coming up since the late 70s. The trails this year were pretty tough in terms of all the trees that were down. Had to do a lot of tree hopping and building ramps and what not. Still fun regardless but tiring. Had one day where it rained all day too which was nice.
Oh hell yeah gotta love Kennedy Meadows! Conditions look great and fawwwk look at all those down trees. Super grateful to that trail crew that deals with the mess every spring. We’re headed up in a couple of weeks, stoked to get a preview, thanks for the video great job!
Thanks Daniel. You guys will have a great time. Conditions are awesome right now except for Blackrock trail and some stuff out past Shaeffer trail. Lots of downed trees out there but we enjoyed them. Lol
Thanks!! I put together a nice GPX file on my Patreon if you need any tracks for the trails. Otherwise I have some good info on my blog with a link to the trail map.
Depends which one you're talking about. But just Google Troy Meadows campground near Kennedy Meadows. They're all near there. I included a link to the trails in the description of the video. Full gpx tracks for just a couple bucks for the entire file.
Cool vid Pete! I went for the first time Memorial Day weekend. Unfortunately, I broke a rib on Jackass the first day, so my trip and summer ended quickly. And you were right, it's a long painful drive out when you're hurt. If you want, you can see the vid on my page..."Broken Rib Trail". Looking forward to see the rest of your trip!
@@LiveLikePete Thanks Pete. I'm trying to move my house while recovering. Headed to Prescott. Once I figure out some of the riding there, maybe we'll do a ride.
Sorry you see it that way. The video actually shows and narrates exactly which trails we rode. For me to put together detailed GPX files with waypoints and different tracks for people to easily load into their GPS unit takes me several hours. Seems pretty generous of me. I don't see many people doing the same in the community or even recording and sharing tracks to begin with. If they did and offered that for the small price of a coffee, I'd gladly pay it. What do you contribute to the community? Where's your GPX tracks or videos for that matter? My channel is full of informative videos. Go to my blog where you'll find countless ride reports, photos, locations, etc. Sounds like you are the stingy one.
wonderful my friend
Thanks!
Dude nice save! 👍👍
Thanks. I got luuuucky. LOL

@@LiveLikePete knowing this I'll definitely try more stuff. It'll either end up cool or hilarious. Either way....should be entertaining.

Definitely. I dodged like 3 things on that mistake. 😆 We gotta link up on our Utah trip whenever that is.
@@LiveLikePete all the trails are opening up around Salt Lake.
Damn that was a close call
Happened so fast I had no idea what was going on. 🤣
Cool vid! Makes me really wanna get the hell out of Vegas!!
Right! 😆 It's so gorgeous up there. Thank you Jack. 😉

Glad you liked it! It's always been one of my favorite places to ride. I had no idea those trails have been there that long.
Looks like some fun stuff, have try and make it there this summer, thanks for sharing.
Another great video Pete! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks Brian. I appreciate the comment. 🤟

Awesome. I would love some rain when we're riding there! Chocolate cake! 🤟
Pete the PCT passes through Kennedy Meadows. Wish I could have made it this year.
Yep I know. But it's much farther down the road from the moto trails.

Nice Pete
Haha thanks bud. Alot of it is very much intermediate level and even in the harder stuff you can just go slower.
@@LiveLikePete yeah I should say some of that stuff! Lol
Killer video, thanks for all the trail details. My Son and I are planning a trip.

Curios on where you set up your Van. Do you have coordinates of where you parked? Wanting to camp in that area. Thanks!
