I'm glad you love the texture! The yarn I'm using in the tutorial is Drops Merino Extra Fine, known for its softness and beautiful texture. However, you can use any yarn you prefer for your project, just make sure it's suitable for the pattern and the desired texture you want. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask. Happy crocheting! 🌸🧶
Love this! So pretty! I am going to use your daisy granny square tutorial to make a cardigan. I have got some DK cotton yarn to make it. I haven't got the yellow or white yarn yet though - how much do you think I should order for the flowers for a whole cardigan? I don't want to run out and have to order more in case the dye lots are different, but I don't want to massively over-buy either!
Thank you! I'm thrilled to hear that you're planning to make a cardigan with the daisy granny square tutorial. Using DK cotton yarn sounds like a great choice. For the flowers, the amount of yarn you'll need depends on the size of the cardigan and the number of squares. Here's a rough estimate to help you plan: Estimate the number of squares: A standard cardigan might need around 30-40 squares, but this can vary based on the size and design. Yarn usage per flower: Typically, one daisy square might use around 5-7 grams of yarn for the yellow center and 8-10 grams for the white petals. Assuming you need 40 squares: I hope this helps! If you need any further assistance, feel free to ask. Happy crocheting! 🌼🧶
@@AdoreCreaCrochet Thank you so much for your help! I can't wait to make the cardigan 🌼 Do you have an instagram page or similar where I could tag you in the finished cardigan? 😊🧶
