Perfect! Thank you so much for making these videos! I volunteer at my local library to help people practice their English conversation and these videos would be great! Could you please do something similar to this but with money and measurements/quantity of grocery items? For example, with money you could focus on how different coins make a certain amount of cents, such as for $2.75, three quarters make the 75 cents. Then for measurements or quantity, it could be something like 1) Oranges: "2 for a dollar" which can also be said as "2 oranges are $1." 2) Apples: 79 cents per pound 3) Grapes: $1.99 per pound - and then you can point out the price difference between 2) and 3) and how that will also change if people choose to buy less than a pound of these items. For example, that we can also choose to purchase half pound or quarter pound of fruits/vegetables. I think the entire "grocery shopping" can go with lots of different ideas (fish/meat, canned foods etc. and the list just goes on). If it's possible, then maybe you can also consider making a bunch of video series out of it. Thank you so much again!
@@SingleStepEnglish Thanks! I didn't end up using it because I haven't taught them that. I'm still teaching sections of the grocery store, asking where things are, and names of foods. But I'm going to keep it around so when we get to that topic I can use it :)
Hi , I will do my best now I am under the pressure because of my exams ,but I watched your video and saved it in my phone so I can watch it several times .
Sir , i m really surprise you have had many replies to who comments .its rare to see How can you help me for me to ready for my next level of education, masters Thanks Sir i am Sri Lanka
The first question ends in a preposition. Most grammarians do not accept ending questions or sentences in a preposition. However, you will hear people using sentences that end in prepositions in everyday conversations. I hope that helps!
Hello sir. Actually today i m going to ask u something different. Submit by 1pm not more than 1pm and no later than 1pm. Sir could you please tell me that both are grammatically correct or not?
@@SingleStepEnglish one more question sir. If i say everyone has got it only she is left. Is it correct sir? And 2 days left or 2days are left which one is correct?
You missed the part where they have a fit and call you rude for not asking for all the intimate details of their life while buying drugs and alcohol to forget your own. I'm being a little silly, but for real, it's going to be strange for ESL when they use innuendo and double-speak. Cashier- Carrots are on sale. Customer- thank you, but I don't need any today. Cashier- what a f-ing a-hole, how dare you, so rude! Customer- ?Que mierda?
多謝!
You’re welcome. 😃

That's really good! I will use it for my students.
Excellent! I hope your students enjoy it. Please let me know if there are any other topics that would be helpful for your classes.

That sounds great! I hope your lessons all go well. Perhaps, I can make another video about the different sections in a grocery store.
I liked it.👍
Take it easy. By.
Thank you, Junior. Good to hear from you!
Check out my latest video, Junior!

Have any of these accidents ever happened to you? I hope not!
Great way
Thank you!
Really good dialogue, thank you
So nice of you!
I really appreciate that.
I will imitate the cashier role as well as the customer role...I need a lot to speak like a native .
Thanks again.
My pleasure! I hope this video will help you speak fluently.
It is really good practice to role play both the cashier and the customer.
Hi , I will do my best
now I am under the pressure because of my exams ,but I watched your video and saved it in my phone so I can watch it several times .
I hope you pass all your exams with high marks. Remember to get enough sleep. It is important to study, but also to rest.
How can I thank you sir, what can I say to you .
God bless you.
I will do my best .
Please, take care of your self.
Do you pay for groceries using cash, debit or credit card?
If you insist on this in Hong Kong, the cashier will consider you as a trouble maker.
Cash and sometimes UPI
@un-knownaadmi2459 Oh! You must be a businessman. UPI payments belongs to banking service to transfer cash.
@@whangsiu6465 no buddy I am not a businessman. It's really common in india to transfer your money through UPI
@@whangsiu6465 Good point!
Nice👌👍
@Dipiti Saikia Thank you for the comment!

Nice to meet you! Thank you for your comment and I hope you enjoy all my videos. If you have any questions at all, please feel free to ask.
Dva znam ⭐💯
Is this Croatian?
In spoken English, conversations go way faster.
Thank you for your feedback. I will try to increase the speed for my next video. Please check it out!
And one more question - whom should i assign this work to? And to whom should i assign this work.? Both are ok? Or not?
The first question ends in a preposition. Most grammarians do not accept ending questions or sentences in a preposition. However, you will hear people using sentences that end in prepositions in everyday conversations. I hope that helps!
@@SingleStepEnglish thank u sir
My pleasure!
Do you use your own bag at the supermarket in your country?
@@SingleStepEnglish no sir
Hello sir. Actually today i m going to ask u something different. Submit by 1pm not more than 1pm and no later than 1pm. Sir could you please tell me that both are grammatically correct or not?
Isn't this one sentence? Perhaps an easier request would be....Submit by 1 pm, and no later than that, please.
@@SingleStepEnglish so no more than 1pm it's not the correct form. Ok thank u sir
For no more than, it is common to use an amount or price rather than a time. For example: The most I will pay is $100, no more than that.
@@SingleStepEnglish one more question sir. If i say everyone has got it only she is left. Is it correct sir?
And 2 days left or 2days are left which one is correct?
The first sentence is fine. Everyone has got it, only she is left. Or, only she is remaining.
Я ничего не поняла здесь не на продуктом и не на магазине😂
This is a supermarket checkout.
Yeah, I'd rather head straight to the self-checkout. Small talk with cashiers is robotic, meaningless and pointless.
I can understand your point of view. However, I have had some entertaining cashiers over the years.
Wait...carrots are on sale? ;-)
Which aisle?
Maybe I can include that info in my next supermarket cashier video...
Fufufufufufufufufuf
Thank you?
This hurt to watch as a cashier of 10 years
What caused the pain, Nick?
