Thanx 👍👍👍
Welcome 👍
Thank you very much sir
This is very helpful
Thank you
This is great!
Very helpful one😊
I appreciated tha thanks Mr
thank you
spectrophotometry is very important in chemistry
Thank you I understood uv operation
감사합니다^^! thanks♥
If I am not mistaken, the korean Han-gul is read as kam-sa-ha-me-da? ^^
@@chemfunman Sir this is read as gamsahamnida which means Thank You ( in formal manner )
nice video
Thank you very much.
+Seif Eddine B You are most welcome.
love this video..i too using uv vis 1800...this will be very helpful to me..tq very much..
Tq so much sir
nice
Your channel has been SO helpful to improve my lab skills!! Thank you so much
I'm so glad! You are most welcome!
@@chemfunman when is says maximum absorption wavelength for compound does that mean if you shine a light at that wavelength it absorbs it the most 8:38
this is true given the range of wavelength, so from this standpoint, it is right@@uhoh5473
Thank you for your explanation
+Alex Tientcheu you are most welcome, take a look at other videos if you find them useful.
Thank you very much for your useful explanation
Eng. safawy you are most welcome!
Nice
thank you so much for the explanation! 🌹
You're so welcome!
It would b a great help if you can explain to interprete the data from calibration curve (especially for the estimation of Ammonia in water). Thank you
Let me work on that!
This video is absolutely full of informations👍👍
Merci pour votre réponse !
Thank you, it is very helpful! :)
Please help me,why we use it in Laboratory?
Actually what do we measure from this machine?
Thankyou
Hello Dr. Fun, this was a great video!
(You should have named your channel "Dr. Fun", it would have been dope!)
Requests:
Are there any videos which explains the interepretation part of the data generated? I am well versed with the basic principles of spectroscopy, want to see what happens after the results are generated and where is that data stored and used. The data would be realted to the sample concentration, yes, but what next.
I prefer the applications of UV/Vis spectroscopy to be of pharmaceutical/biotechnology domain. It would be of great help if anyone can share the links to videos or articles or books.
Thank you!
Happy learning to all!
gahan, you can buy one spectrophotometer in home to play with it :p
Very Nice demonstration,
Thanks for your support! Share the good stuff.
Thanks.
You're welcome
Thank you so much, the video is quite clear and understandable.
You are welcome!
Great😊
Thank you! Cheers!
Thank you so much
You're most welcome
So helpful, thank you
You're so welcome!
Sir plzz tell me..." For UV/Visible spectrophotometric graph the protein that is taken is first diluted??...mean first we take the stock solution of protein and then diluted it and then placed in spectrophotometer for measuring the absorbance ( for example at 280 nm)...
Thank you for the explanation . I have now literally understood the process ..... ✌🏼💜
You're so welcome!
I am using your video for online practical class during this lockdown period. It is very useful. Thanks a lot.
You are most welcome. Feel free to use and share. Perhaps the best way is to have students to scaffold their thoughts in this platform. I find that it worked for my students as they spark ideas and clarify concepts
Excellent video and great explaination
Glad you liked it!
Awwsomee...very well explained✌👌
thank you! you are welcome - come back to this channel for more! like and subscribe :D
Thanks
No problem
Very helpful vdo, thanks
Glad it was helpful!
Спасибо!
welcome!
This is helping, thank you🙏
You’re welcome 😊
⭐Amazing demonstration video sir!👌
If you don't mind, Can i use your demo video to explain in my native language please
with proper credits to you?
thank you for this awesome video sir!😊
Thanks for your suggestion. Can you share more about how you plan to do this translation? email me at fun.man [at] u.nus.edu
Thank you so much . This has been very useful for my practical exam tomorrow
thank you! you are kind, do share these videos and subscribe.
Very helpful thank you 😊

Thank you :)
thank you so much! do Subscribe and share this with your friends! :D
Thanks man
You're welcome!
Nice sir please make learing video about LCMS Cromategraphy
Nice one , maybe you can buy one to play in home 🤪
That’s right!
I did have one, but not Shimadzu
The one I have is ocean insight STS series
STS series much smaller than Shimadzu uv1800
The size much smaller than EZ link card for MRT
thank for your lecture. could you help me to combine the datas together on one graph? thank you!!!
Thank you very much
You are welcome
Outstanding
It's my pleasure!
Sir you expline tha animation are also very helpful
Very nice understanding concept
hope you liked our effort, thanks!
Good
That's so awesome to hear!! Do share this with others :D
great working
Nooice
Thanks ...It really helped me..I learned from this video how to operate it...I studied theoretically ...So this practical demonstration was helped me a lot..Thank you so much
most welcome!
Very nice explanation thanks for that
Glad it was helpful!

Hi . I am telling from Bangladesh.I read in class 12 in St.joseph higher secondary school. You are very helpful
thanks!
Thank you soo much really helped me
You're welcome!
Please tell us how to interpret the data from the calibration curve in oder to estimate a particular compound in water sample like benzene or Toluene
thank you so much , this has been very useful for my pratical exam ...
You are most welcome
we want such kind of spectrophotometers in our university
yay
Very nice.
Thank you! Cheers!
Amazing
Thank you! Cheers!
hi i use this technique and measured the absorbance of my sample but i am getting 4.00 at 303.5,272.5 and 228nm...this sample is analysed using hplc at 280nm...the max abs is 4.0...do i need to dilute spl and scan again?
I don't think this is needed.
thx
+little k most welcome!
i am a Bsc. Physics student
Very good demonstration. I guess different cuvettes are needed for UV and visible light measurements
Yes, definitely!
good
Super
Good very good
Thanks
what reference you use for carbon quantum dots for this study
how can we make spectrophotometry for sample and standard
Very good
thanks!!
Hello sir very effective information..I need to job in pharmaceutical company ...plz can u help me in search a job
Aap kaha se ho
Love you sir
Awesome, keep watching, and sharing!
What about baseline correction? Could tou explain?
Thank you for making this video. And, I have one question, Is it use the same with uv-3000 spectrophotometer?
very much the same!
@@chemfunman Thanks U teacher
Finally a non-Hindi accent video :D (Thank God), Very good explanation, very practical, to the point and easy to understand. THANK YOU!!!
YOU ARE MOST WELCOME!! thanks for your support.
Uv method water based in sulphate testing
Ok I will try
👍👍👍
Awesome, keep watching, and sharing!
Hi Dr,
What is the difference between baseline and autozero. When you want to determine lambda max of a solution (unknown), as the first step keeping only solvent in both of the slots should we go for autozero or baseline ?
Thanks in advance!
Do autozero after you have set the baseline. The baseline is set when you have a standard you wish to use as a reference value, say, a solvent. Adding a solute incurs matrix effect.
@@chemfunman It worked. Thanks a ton Dr Fun Man Fung.!
Thanks for explanation. Do you suggest a simple way to create a report using UV probe?
yes
How please?
Please tell me how to determine phosphorus and nitrogen in water
