- This video basically shows the love/hate relationship between Lois and Clark, yet it also shows the development of each of their careers in journalism. It's funny and sweet; and the ultimate goal is to connect the events and characters of Smallville with the larger Superman mythos.

Lois was funny, fun, proactive, directional, fearless and loyal. Lana was boring, spoiled, dramatic, and disloyal. Lois brought lightness to Clark, while Lana, heaviness and demands.. with Lois he laughed and had fun, with Lana only drama and problems. With Lois he felt more confident and strong, she made him reach a higher level as a hero. With Lana he only felt guilt and fear and deprivation and never improved as a hero. While one inspired him to become the great hero he became, the other made him want to give up to live a selfish feeling.
I totally agree with that he felt guilty for js being with her he was always so focused on her and being there for her which was stopping him from becoming the hero he was supposed to be.... In the other hand this quote right here sums up why lois and Clark r ment to be tg " u can lean on me for strength I feel stronger when ur around anyway" that js says that lois makes him feel stronger and special and is by his side 24/7 she never turned on him they went through ups and downs tg and still pulled through the way that Clark looks at lois vs lana that is says that lois is super special to him and he doesn't want to mess things up.... Lois makes him feel like he's worth more than anything lana didn't make him feel that way .... The way I think of it is that lana is suffering from depression..guilt..fear..pain.. anxiety.. nervousness.. and Clark tried to be there for her but she was js pushing him away... LANA WILL ALWAYS BE THE HIGHSCHOOL SWEETHEART
In the greater story telling context, the two women represented the two conflicting desires he had.
Lana was the "I want to be a real boy" Pinocchio dream, and with her it was lies, and distrust, and betrayal, and depression.
Lois was the "do what's right in the moment, not bogged down by the past, nor fearing the future" hero dream, and that had light and laughs, and passion, and adventure.
Lois is the definition of a hero from the beginning, she doesn't hold on to past wrongs, she is not afraid of the future, she always does what is right. Clark has to become like her to be with her.

The writers had some factors on their side that few shows get, they knew the endgame. But you're right, they chose the perfect amount of burn on this slow burn build up. Instead of being obvious about it, they hinted throughout each scene these 2 were on

She sneekly moved into his farm. It was clear she had chosen who she wanted to spend the rest of her life with.
The casting of Smallville was good with Erica Durance, Tom Welling, Aaron Ashmore, and Justin Hartley. Gotham, the Arrow, and the Flash are pretty smart with their casting too . . . The DC live action big films need to work on getting the right Batman, even if they have to branch out of their tiny studio actor pool.

Its cool how clark and lois meet when he was reborn that was the perfect time to bring lois into the show.......Heres their relationship building........ Frenemies....... Friends...... Which the quote for that was amazing "i dont want anything happening to my friends and family" oh so were friends now... Says lois" i mean we can if u want to i won't tell anyone" then to Partners..... Started relationship..... paused relationship... Continued relationship...... marriage.....sidekick actually lois has always been his sidekick.

This is how most love stories start. It all started how these two hated each other, than along the way they became friends, and eventually lovers, and then they got married. I felt bad for Clark when he told his mom that he felt he could never truly love anybody else, because he was so into Lana for such a long time. I can understand that because it's very hard getting over your first love. I personally think that Clark loved both of them. Trust me, you don't know anything about love unless you have broken somebody else's heart, or had your own heart broken. Clark broke Lana's heart lots of times, and she really broke his heart when she told him that she couldn't believe she ever loved him. Plus I think that Lana wanted to really stick it to Clark when she got engaged to Lex, she HAD to know way deep down he was going to be pissed about it. And Lex just didn't care at the time, they did this to spite Clark, to get even with them, and he in turn got even with both of them when he told them off at their engagement party. I loved every part of that scene because Clark was right about everything. Lana didn't LOVE LEX, she NEVER DID! She just got with Lex to get back at Clark, it was for revenge.
Derek Mathews True but also about finding out Truth/Justice in the American Way(Rich Man Lex) he he and protecting him the best way she could or at least she understood in the End.
Its à poor face of Lana to marry Lex for revenge because he never trust her toxtell his secret never mind if you love someone you support him whatever happens
They didn’t hate each other, they just couldn’t stand each other. They always cared for each other even when they didn’t show it with there bantering.
