Aaron Wheeler appeared in all 31 games with nine starts, averaging 3.6 points, 4.2 rebounds and 0.9 assists per game. He was fifth on the team with 21 3-pointers and third with 11 blocked shots. Wheeler recorded first career double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds against Chicago State. He scored 11 points (4-4 FGs, 3-3 3Ps) with three rebounds and two assists in a road win over Indiana (Feb. 8). The Stamford, Connecticut native scored 11 points (3-4 3Ps) in the Crossroads Classic against Butler. Tallied 10 points with nine rebounds, two assists and two steals in the season-opening win over Green Bay. Wheeler also finished the year 17 of 20 (.850) from the free throw line.
