I went on Halo 3, taught a few friends some hiding spots on Guardian and Narrows and we proceeded to hide a few times for "the lols".
@@mcdonkey500 nah just made winning more consistent besides if you were good enough you would know all the hiding spots. whenever people tried this on us we'd find them.
I remember it live and how angry I was at everyone who said this was poor behavior. This is better than winning the entire series. This shows that you are just as if not more dedicated than any pro player if you are able to stay competitive in a tournament and use so much of your time meant for practicing to instead learn a specific jump well enough that all of your team can execute it mid-match. They were completely okay with losing the match as well, showing that they are real sportsmen in my eyes. I do enjoy their content a lot, but even from an unbiased standpoint this is just impressive. If they did this on their first match I may have different opinions, but they had to actually win in the tourney and compete at a high level to get to even attempt this stunt. Not many players can just decide to do something like this and then proceed to execute it almost flawlessly.
@Bla Bla yeah... they're exploiting the fact that it's an unfinished map. It's a place where the devs didn't intend anyone to be therefore it's an exploit
@Bla Bla it wasn’t designed that way, they have a substantial advantage, if both teams knew of the exploit would it even it? Maybe, maybe not, still an exploit nonetheless

The question does become, what is an exploit? And what is in depth game knowledge? Grenade and rocket jumping was originally an exploit. Now it’s a mainstream tactic. Now obviously effectively glitching through the map to a hard ti access area is very very cheap. Still, I’d blade it on bad developers. Blue team would have probably won that game anyway. They just trolled their opponents.

Timing out opponents is a pretty standard strat is most other video games...sounds like this was completely fair, but Halo devs would need to patch the exploits if they didn't want to see this in the future.

Their knowledge can literally be used for fixing exploits in halo sandbox considering they were aware of what they were doing.

Back in the halo 2 days, was bxb and bxr allowed in competitive games? Those were exploits based on glitches in the game.
