I was one of the people who wasn’t feeling the look of the new Accord but then i saw it on the road and it finally resonated with me. The same thing happened to me with the last Accord in 2018 & before i knew it, I had a 21 Accord. The same thing happened to me getting the 24 Accord a few months ago & it’s a GREAT car. I got the Touring version & it’s fantastic. It’s like a luxury car without it being a luxury car. It’s so smooth, quick & responsive. I truly love my car & I highly recommend it.
Do lease your Honda?
If the designers of the Accord were tasked with making it look more plain and un-exciting, they succeeded!
I think they are trying to push people to Acura if they want that high end look.
To me it looks mature in a good way, more classy, like a business man car
At least they fixed the 2022 rear end, lol.
The design is lacking in personality , unfortunately @@reda497
I have a 2023 Accors Sport and I routinely get mileage in the 55-60 MPG on my trips and that is without putting in economy drive mode. I accelerate and drive the car in a steady and smooth manner and don’t need to hypermile it. I used to have an Acura TLX and I’m getting twice the fuel economy and only losing 1 second on my 0-60 times. This car has plenty of power for passing and merging safely when you need it.
How is it so far ? I’m not to familiar with cars but I’m looking into possibly gettin one in the nest year or two mainly looking for a car that’s going to last me awhile and not cost an arm and a leg to fix if anything happens
I want the Camry because u can get it with red interior something that accord doesn’t offer
You can buy red leather seat covers for the accord
Get red leather seat covers then
the new Camry much better looking car
@alluripratapvar that will make it feel more luxurious 😅
Nice job as always, guys. In my opinion, the "air ball" should be the NOISE LEVEL of this car... not the lack of availability of AWD (which would probably have added cost to all trims). Thanks, guys.
100% correct
63 is freaking loud. This new gen looks like a damn Ford Taurus. Last gen design was far nicer
I get 64db in my v6 Camry at 65mph
@@naveenthemachine Yea thats a 10mph higher than what they are testing here.
Ridiculously loud... especially compared to the competition. Totally unacceptable.
Do you think the 2024 volvo s60 recharge
My 2023 Chevy trailblazer is 56 I say that's pretty good
Th e paddles on the steering wheel control regenerative braking, not simulated shifts
I have seen many of these on the roads. I like everything it has, except the front end though.
That's my only issue with the design as well. The rear end looks beautiful in person.
Yeah, and old people are driving them.
@@jraheemjefcoat429 not me I love 23’ Accord touring
*my
Yeah the front end looks so flat and bland. If it wasn’t so squished in the front maybe it’d look better.
Very nice video guys. When will HONDA ZR-V hybrid ? ♥
I think it looks better than last accord and new Camry
Honda design team fell asleep when designing the Accord. Not sure who or why they approved this
HONDA HAS BEEN ASLEEP FOR 10 YEARS NOW.
Why does the Ambient temperature indicated value on the instrument panel go OFF showing double hyphen; Honda Accord 2018?
i have a 2019 accord and everytime i think about upgrading to another tier of vehicle i just remind myself that what I have is already doing just fine, I think the style is definitely improved since then as well
2018-2022 rear end is hideous tho,
@@iishyxvietxboyii1 haha I do not love the way it looks, I personally prefer the newer style much more than my 2019
I liked the last gen a lot better it just looks plain now and they dropped the 2.0 turbo
10th gen rear end is hideous, lol.
You dont need AWD on any vehicle. Any vehicle can handle inclement weather with a good set of tires that are capable for that type of weather condition
agree ,,, global warming too !!
What is Honda’s solution for dealing with a flat tire when you are miles from home and no spare? Also Can I access Sirius XM like I have on my 2020 Accord 1.5 T EX-L? Thank you!
Tripple A?
New Camry is way more interesting - optional pano roof and AWD, a more efficient hybrid system, and a nicer looking interior (especially the XSE)
I wish Honda would add a spare tire to their hybrid accords. You can buy it through the dealership, but it doesn't make sense that you have to buy that separately.
Another thing they should of added, a panoramic sunroof. I've seen the Accord in other markets with a panoramic sunroof. And why did they cheap out on the driver's map pocket and downgraded the lumbar from 4 way to 2 way?
They are not the only ones doing that now
I'll wait for the Camry if for no other reason than its ingress/egress being much easier after trying out both vehicles recently. The Accord's extra low passenger seat makes it a non-starter.
I genuinely like this car. My mom has an 07 accord ex we still drive today. Yea its missing some doo dads here and there, but its simplicity and focused design leaves so much less to go wrong. I can totally see these being really wonderful and popular cars for used buyers in a decade
What standardization are you guys using for the sound level test..? It looks like you just test it where ever you are.
Are you using the same roads?
We use similar strips all of which are paved to the same degree. Not too new, not too old, all within KY
@@CarConfections but haven’t you also listed noise levels that were taken at the media press launches for some cars..?
One of the best car designs for someone with power.
I love Honda. But they drop the ball. A lot.
Excellent video guys.
Wow...I would have to drive it off the cliff to raise my pulse.
Just FYI the 10th gen sport model is also much lower. I own a ‘18 sport 2.0t which Honda discontinued using the 2.0 turbo engine derived from the type R albeit being detuned for the accord.
Great review Mason and Drew.
Trunk space in New sedans suck because of those goose neck hinges. Older sedans like my Mazda6 have struts which do not hit cargo when you close the trunk.
What’s with the chicken wire they use across the whole dash over the vents?
Chicken wire, That's hysterical!!! I agree, I hate it
Why does the sport trim much quieter than the sport L in terms of sound level reading? Aren’t they have almost the same configurations? 22:05
As you can see designated next to the Sport L reading, it was taken in California at a press event where they typically have rougher roads compared to our test roads in KY
What type of fuel do you suggest for this vehicle ? I bought the 2024 model where in the manual it says 87 or higher but in the official Honda website it has been changed to recommended 91. I am confused what to follow now
That must be a mistake on the website. This uses regular fuel
I tried to get the answer from my dealer and they are confused too because it says one thing on the manual and another thing on the official website. I tried to look for answers in different forums and found out accord has been lately facing a lot of head gasket blown out who uses 87 and even if it is designed for 87 people are recommending to use 91 since it is a turbo engine. Idk what Honda is doing with its reliability. I bought this brand just for its reliability with affordability but now I am just clueless on what to follow
@@Travel_With_Monsoon 87 or 91 wont prevent a blown head gasket. The l15 is designed to run on 87 but will run smoother on 91.I switch between 87 and 91 on my 2.0t and never had any problem in 117 000 kms.
@@alpe6228 thank you for sharing your experience.
The minimalist front design is SO good. Car kinda looks muscley, but also so clean... reminds me a little of Apple.
I'd like to see the pricing and features on the '25 Camry SE Hybrid, but this Accord is likely my next vehicle as things stand currently...
No rear seat air vents or charging ports. The previous gen had usb ports in the back seat
I believe the other higher models have it.
A fantastic vehicle.
Wow that's the best honda ever
Great Review!!!
It has a front end only a mother can love.
I wonder how long Honda can hold off the 360 degree camera offering in the Accord?
Technically, Honda has it on most Acura models and also on some 2023-present Honda Pilot. I suspect they will either come out at least in the next generation of it.
@@joecrash1232Next generation is what like 5 years away? Honda has always been a day late and a dollar short when it comes to feature. Their excuse is a cop out when they mentioned that you can get those features in Acura products. Why do that when their mainstream rivals has those features in their cars? Make it makes sense!
@@jraheemjefcoat429 Honda better offers the 360 camera on the 2025 Accord or I will go Toyota Camry.
@@dannyboy8850 Trust me, they WON'T! If they are not going to give us a panoramic sunroof, then they are not going to add a 360 camera.
@@jraheemjefcoat429 Maybe they were slow to put out newer features? Plus, they usually put new features in Acura first and then Honda. Just like how Acura got the 360 camera system first before the 2023-present Pilot ( namely trailsport and elite trims) got it after.
I’ve always been a fan of the accord but not so impressed with the new models.
Watching from India 🇮🇳 ❤
They need to fast track some exterior changes to make less bland.
They actually look minimalist cool in person....
it's obvious that Honda went cheap with this generation Accord in some areas but kudos to Honda for keeping physical controls instead of the current dangerous trend of using a massive touchscreen.
I love Honda's and this is my new car to buy.
The front is so dull
...and ugly also!
No Rear vents for car that big is biggest issue for me..
Farts?
Technically comes on the touring versions. Unfortunately Hyundai copied Honda and does the same for the Sonata. Only comes on the Limited model (which is now standard hybrid).
@@ayushmalpeddi2793last generation sonata hybrid blue, the least expensive one, had it. It is sad if newer generation doesn’t.
@@RLTtizME😂
Are you driving or riding? What difference does it makes?
I'm getting use to the rear styling and I like the steering wheel, but overall the car is not exciting, extremely dull. Nothing is intriguing. Leather, sunroof, but no rear charge ports or vents... SMH
It kinda reminds me of a 2016 Ford Taurus.
❤ Honda the Power of Dreams ❤
I like the car enough to buy it, which I’m pretty certain I am, once my current car breaks down. I do wish the front end wasn’t so flat. Everything else is beautiful, imo.
I was actually excited for this review but im surprised at how cheaply made this Accord is! No rear vents, usb ports and hard touch rear door panels?? Yikes!
They are really de-contenting this car and hoping buyers won't notice
You get those features/changes on the higher EX-L and Touring trims, which is typical for other offerings in the segment
@@MattCC16Gaming Wrong. This is the Sport L, the second highest from the top Touring trim and above the EX-L. See 1:47 for the trims.
I believe they are pushing people who want more bells whistles and luxury to Acura.
I still love my 2020 2.0T Accord, but might trade for fuel economy, but watching and hoping for hybrid hydrogen powered technologies version like upcoming CRV PH hydrogen powered
10th Gen rear end is hideous.
The best cars honda/acura ever made in the past decade are RLX-sport hybrid, Accord hybrid with google OS
Rear seats not having any vents or features is unacceptable at the price point
Base model?
Fantastic video of an excellent vehicle!
Many thanks!
Enterprise and Hertz fleet buyers are on the edge of their seats ready to purchase thousands of these
The 11 generation Honda Accord is the best design to date, it's very stylish, elegant design.
In my opinion the LX or EX Turbo straight gasoline powered engine is your best value.
Although you're going to save more on gas when purchasing one of the Hybrid models, saving is exactly what you should be doing as repairs on the Hybrid will nearly bankrupt the average individual. Due to the high tech engineering, complexity of this Hybrid set-up you will have no chance of getting repairs preformed without returning to your local Honda dealership.
If you're someone that trades cars every 3- 4 years then go for the Hybrid as the battery has an 8 year 100k miles warranty as mandated by the Federal Government. If you're like me when buying a car, you're not buying it with the intention of trading for the next new model . I keep a car until it's just absolutely not worth putting anymore money into it.
I'm driving my 3rd and now last Accord. The car has become an adequate, practical, and just plain boring rental car. You were polite but the E-CVT engine combo is awful. The 2.0T with 10 speed automatic from the previous gen car was way more fun to drive. So many trims to pick from and not one for the buyer who actually enjoys driving. Terrible packaging overall. (We need more color options, fog lights and a heated steering wheel not paddle shifters and simulated shift points). I will wait for the new Camry or start looking at the Acura TLX. As a long time Honda owner, 7 vehicles total, I could not be more disappointed with this car. I've seen a few 2023 models traded in already and the asking price is only a few thousand more than the trade in value of my 3-year-old Accord. Oh well.
Comfy ,Like the bodystyle but the 1.5 turbo no!!!’ If my local toyota dealership buys it ill get a 23 Camry! Awd nightshade !
They could have made some much needed improvements to this. No 360 camera or steering wheel heating, dark interior only and no panoramic sunroof. The new better infotainment system only for Touring. Cabin also looks cheap and drab. Honda cost-cutting in view. The Sonata facelift destroys this, and it has the more powerful engine, which the Accord lost this generation. Not to mention the Accord looks ugly and boring and doesn't have the option of AWD. So many compromises. Even the 'new' Camry is underwhelming, but much better than this.
When will Camry available? I am waiting for the Camry 2025
We should be driving and reviewing it on the channel next month!
It’s very nice, I like the Honda accord, I don’t know about the transmission tho 😂
Hoda accord whips???
Last good looking Accord was the 2016-2017 model.
Or wait for the new Mazda 6 RWD!🙏🙏🙏
I wish lol
This model year sucks bad. The one 3 years ago was amazing.
Ha! I guessed the air ball. Really wish AWD was an option. Otherwise, I love it.
The gloss black wheels make it look cheap. Black wheels are for Altimas.
GROWN MAN ACCORD, all you kids saying it’s ugly stop crying already.
Does it look like a Passat from the front and an Audi in back?
Bro ong you can mistaken it for an Audi A7 from far away lol
I wish we still had the Accord in the UK
The Honda Taurus 😢 😅
It looks old
Sigh
They don't mention that it's actually NOT an Accord. It's an Accord Hybrid.
The trim levels are very different between the Accord and the Accord Hybrid.
This is the best car i have owned best commuter and 44 mpg
I am sure it's going to have a facelift very soon after honda looks at the sales of the accord 😂😂
Especially, when almost the entire accord line is hybrid.
Sorry to say I don’t like this new Accord Honda designers 😂 and I’m a 2023 Camry owner I like a Camry better and the new Camry coming is very nicer too 😊
ماشین که حرف نداره❤❤❤❤❤
The new Camry is hybrid. Hybrid = extra system to break once warranty has expired.
People here complain about no pano roof and no 360 camera, but realistically how many people actually use it?
More thing to break anyway. People have been parking in parking lots just fine without 360 camera for year, or driving without one just fine.
I would have gotten an Accord but CVT is going to be a no for me. I went with the Civic Si instead.
considering the "new" camry is just a bit more than a slight refresh of the same crap they have been peddling I'd get the Honda
Just really ugly. I had 2015 accord, I think it's a fantastic car. But this one...looks like a car designed for old people, and the proportion doesn't feel right.
put it in sport mode. makes difference
Wait for the Camry
To bad i alrealdy got the accord 24 🤣
So - buy or wait?
Hi there nice video I have a 2020 Honda Accord 2.0t touring and went yesterday for a oil change the Honda dealership is offering me more money than what my car value and I asked him why do you want to buy a 4 year old car used sell the new body style is a new generation and he was very honest with me he told me that there are not making to much on the 11 generation accord because a lot of people don’t like the design I agree car looks very ugly I would never trade my car for that pieces of craps
I have a 2018 Honda Accord 2.0T. As long as you service it well, it will run like butter. 👍🏾
The car market is becoming a joke. I sold my last Camry 3.5 V6 with over 500,000 miles on it. Still running strong never touched the transmission no major work.
❤yo tengo un spor 2024 y trabajo haciendo Uber 50 a 60 horas semanales y estoy impresionado todos clientes quedan impresionado por lo grande y cómodo de este carro yo estoy totalmente satisfecho bebé me encanta
The last great accord was 2012 IMO…..I’m on my 7th accord 03,07,09,12,14,17 now 22 touring, they had such a nice beige leather interior that seats were actually comfortable. Over the years I see the little things where Honda cut corners.
Wait. No heated steering wheel?
Not in the U.S at least
you could get it on the last gen as a dealer installed option. I did.@@CarConfections
Accord over Camry any day
Very upset Honda now only offers hybrids at the higher trim levels. Will have to look elsewhere for my next car.
Please check Camry reviews for 2025 year
no vents and usb is so lame for the rear
It IS available, but you have to step up to the higher trim levels.
I’m a total accord fan, but the new model looks hideous. Dammit! 😂
Fortunately, I bought a new 2022 Sport Limited Edition that always turns heads.
no air freshener will ever beat moroccan mint tea from little trees
You guys complain about road noise but fail to point out that it's specific to trim levels. The Accord you tested is louder than the hybrid sport touring which has acoustic glass. You also criticize the fact that AWD is not an option but many consumers love that Honda has not gone AWD in the Accord. AWD among its competitors is actually very FWD biased, weighs the car down, and hurts long term maintenance and reliability. As a longtime Accord owner, I've never had anything but a great experience driving in snowy and slippery conditions in an Accord. VSA and traction control is plenty unless you live in the mountains in which case you should probably buy something with actual 4WD and/or use snow chains. Honda knows that AWD has no place in this segment except for marketing purposes and reviewers like you shouldn't be perpetuating its importance and duping consumers. At least mention its CONS if you're going to call it an "air ball."
Awd hurts reliability. Oh bull crap.
