Okay I’m not that much of a pro but I personnally sing and I know singing. The way he moves immaculately between his chest and head-nosey voice at ‘across the night’ is insane. No one quite like this. Also works here 5:02
Coming from a fellow voice coach, his voice is a great gift. His smooth transitions are definitely ones to be envious about.

What effects does Dan use on his vocals in Diorama? I absolutely love it.
EQ, Compression, and reverb in spots. Traditional. He just has incredible pitch and tone.
Yes, it’s all very clean. His voice is the key.
Double tracked in some places as well..
