idols do not do it because most of them are not capable to sing live. even without dancing it feels like that most of the idols just cannot sing or are quite bad at it. that's why there is lipsync. most encore stages show the singing "skills" of the idols. often far from good or carried by the main vocalist.

I saw their recording behind they're so good. There are other groups who prove they can sing well on the encore stages, but they never sing raw like this. The standard for singing in kpop have dropped a lot but there are still many good singers so it's not a reason why.
I can kinda imagine Solar making those sound effects and their sound engineer or producer looking for the right audio file to fit what Solar is getting at.
