I recently heard about that strange setting to get peek mode to actually do anything. It should’ve been that way by default. I don’t understandably they thought peek mode should just be a clock.

This process doesn't seem to work anymore after the adroid 12 update. I go to Settings>Display>Lock Screen>Wake screen notifications, turn off and reboot, but Peek Mode still not showing notifications.
Same here. I'm thinking it is a 12 thing. Such a bummer. Hopefully a few more updates and they'll get it back.
Thank you! Do you think an update will fix allot of the software issues we are challenged with, and approximately when do you think we will get an update? Not returning my device. I am hoping there is an improvement like everything else in tech world.
It's on a monthly update cycle, should have first one soon.

Can you download Launcher 10 on the Duo? Its a launcher that looks like the window phone and the last update gave it support for the Duo. I am getting this phone in a few months, but I think people who are fans of the Duo, also use to have windows phones. Also, you do a great job of covering this phone!
You can install and run any launcher you want. It just acts a little weird when you do. The other launchers just don't know how to handle having two screens, for instance the app drawer might fill both screens.
I use Equalizer (by jApp) to fix Bluetooth audio Volume which is always too Quiet or too Loud with JBL speaker
Maybe if you mention it in a vid Microsoft will give us an update.
Random question. Are you having any issues with earbuds? Ive tried two separate ones, Sony and airpods, both seem to loose connection to the Duo when I put the device in my pocket. Music player keeps playing, bit no sound through the headphones or my Duo.
Add there any settings to mute audio when the disay is shut and a button is pressed or something? I can't for the life of me work it out
I'm using the original TicPods with no issues so far. Car stereo has been solid too. Seen plenty of people with issues though. As for muting when closed, I think that's app by app like Spotify would keep aging on a normal phone of you put it to sleep. Not sure how you would stop that.
im having same issues with my bluetooth. im thinking of exchanging it since others arent getting the same issues. maybe another unit will work better.
@@mygaymidlifecrisis I live in Australia. Had the phone shipped via a forwarding service as Microsoft aren't doing an international release for the Duo. So it's a bit ticket to get warranty stuff, and it takes forever.
I want able to replicate the issue on my Jose 700s. Maybe the Bluetooth stack isn't as strong as other phones? Needs a better Bluetooth connection in the headset? I'm not sure. I need to do more testing

Duo does not have an always on display. All you get it is peek mode.
