Dolores said it so matter of factly because Mirabel not having a gift wasn't so important to her - she's still her cousin. Most of the relationships in this family are VERY healthy. Those that aren't... are the plot. SPOILERS!

But like, she obviously knows it matters to Mirabel - she can hear everything, she heard the whole song and knows she's avoiding talking about it, she's likely heard her parents try to console her, etc.
False. we all know mirabel not having a gift was very important to her. As much as she pretended she didn’t care and considered herself just as special she still at times felt left out and useless. The problem with the family is they don’t take into consideration of each other’s feeling’s the way they should. For example Dolores just blurting it out embarrassing her. Or them taking the family pic without her after Antonio gets his gift and you can tell abuela’s words were affecting her. And when everyone blamed the tragic proposal on her as if it wasn’t going to already happen she just warned them.
@@nikkijenae9346I believe by 'her', they were referring to Dolores. The fact that Mirabel doesn't have a gift is not important to DOLORES, not Mirabel. Obviously we all know Mirabel cares very much about being the odd one out.
"My family's amazing, and I'm in my family" Still such a great line :D Don't see a lot of reactors mentioning that one but it always makes me amused how well she tries to dodge the questions (and the level of how impressed I am with her ability to speedsing. That part with the 'hey you can marry my sister if you want to' thing was all done in like one breath too.

Yeah Surface pressure is one that you could still listen to without getting spoiled for the ending as it's fairly early on in the story. But after that it's probably best to watch the last two songs in the actual movie itself as they are very storyline heavy about the wrapping up of the story. They are both very beautiful songs and I'm not sure if you'd want to watch them and maybe talk about them in videos while you're watching the film as a whole or after watching the whole film. Some reactors have just filmed their reaction to the whole film and then edited out their reactions to the final songs as separate videos as well. That way you get to see the songs in context and we still get your first reaction but I'm. Not be sure how complicated that would be.
It's often just nice to hear someone thoughts on a song even if they already know the songs. But totally your call.

5 years old is the gift ceremony.
10 years ago Mirabel didn’t get a gift. The reason is in the movie if you can figure out her hidden gift.
