A lot of the discourse about the Vikings' record in "one-score games" is deceiving. A high percentage of those games were ones where the Vikings were comfortably ahead through most of it but the opponent scored enough late to make it look closer than it was. (See the game at Lambeau this year for a good example - their win expectancy was never below 90 percent in the 4th). Doesn't apply to this game, which legitimately WAS tossup throughout. This is also a better team than the horseshoe-up-ass 2022 squad, which had a negative point differential. The current team has a Pythag record of about 11-4, and even just judging by the eye test, they're good, not just lucky.

Nope. Packers will put an end to that next week, then the Lions will put the icing on that cake in week 18. Great season though, all credit to the Vikings.
SKOL
Not happening. Blue Kitties are gonna continue to ROAR!
If that happens, Tom will go insane. Out of all NFC North teams, he hates the Vikings the most and it'll break him.
Perna your Broncos will be fine even if they lose to the Bengals. As long as the Chiefs win on Christmas then they will hand The Broncos the win to make sure the Bengals don’t get in.
I'm kind of scared for the Vikings last two games. I know the Packers will be out for blood on Sunday for sure. And the Lions, though beat up, are not gonna want to give up that 1-seed quietly even if they do get past the 'Pack.
Vikings are giving me 1998 Atlanta Falcon vibes
I was hoping for a Bills Lions Superbowl, but I have the feeling either or both of those teams will be too ground down to get to the Superbowl. I also dont want the Chiefs to three-peat, so that will probably happen.
Bills/Vikings would be a weird "somebodies oh (and four) has got to go" how can you beat that?
@@nichodemus10 You Can't .....best SB of the century!
Vikings have the 2nd best rush defense in the league right now. Only allowing 4 more yards a game than the Ravens.
As a vikings fan, im just glad eagles dont get 1 seed. I don't think anyone had a shot winning there in the playoffs.
There's a weird outside way Philly can still get it. Lions and Vikings have to lose next week, then the Vikings have to beat the Lions (Eagles have the common tiebreaker over the Vikings).
@@arrogancy Zero chance, Lions aren't losing to 49ers.
I like Greg Olson
Tony Romo is the best newcomer!
Greg Olson pissed me off all game.
"The Commanders outmatched Philly."
Bro, we lost our QB in the 1st quarter...
I’m honestly not worried. I feel Green Bay has a shot to knock off the Vikings next week and even then. If the lions loose in week 18 to them we spilt with the Vikings, we have a tougher schedule, and more division wins if the Packers beat them so we’d take the number 1 seed.
Counting on you Green Bay. Win so my Lions can get some breathing room.
Unless you lose one more than Minnesota, then the tiebreaker means nothing.
@ I’m aware but I’m confident. It’ll be an injury bowl but we can beat San Fran and I trust Green Bay to beat Minnesota (despite how much that hurts me to say lol)
America’s new team sorrrry Cowgirls not sorry Skol!
As a life long Vikings fan, I'm preparing for the inevitable collapse. One thing is always certain with the Minnesota Vikings. They always fade when it counts the most.
Your Packers will most definitely clinch a playoff spot tonight
New Orleans by 17
@@Mikemidmich-ts5ff That would put the Pack in their rightful place!
Tom I'm temporarily gonna be a packers fan. P for d 🧀
Bills are the best story. “Rebuilding year” my ass
Vikings projected for 6 1/2 wins this season!
I would love it if both Dallas AND Green Bay missed the playoffs!
The lions can wrap up the top seed this week. The vikings can't. The packers will lose tonight and win Sunday to help their friends in Detroit.
Tough to beat a team this many times in a row. Lions v rams pack or vikes. Someone bound to get lucky and finally beat Detroit.
skol vikes baby
1 thru 8, doesn't matter, one and done.
Packers must step up
I'd hate to see Philly - Viles fan
Philly are frauds. They whine about not getting the ball enough after a win. One punch in the mouth and Philly cries to their mommy - Vikes fan
GB will beat the Vikings next week and the Lions will beat SF Monday night wrapping up the division and top seed, week 18 will be meaningless and both teams will rest players.
Gb lost to Minnesota at home. They’re not beating them in Minnesota. This isn’t the nick mullins Vikings. 🤡🤡🤡
Lol playing at the bank GB has no chance in there. This isnt some bullshit cold weather winter game for the pack.
@@richardtherichard26 GB is playing much better now than their first meeting, also didn't BG just blow out the same team in Seattle the Viking just squeaked by??
@@tarb1320 Geno played one quarter, then was out!
As much as Grossi wants the Vikings to best the Lions, it ain’t gonna happen
No shot the Vikings beat the Lions
They lost by one last second field goal last time. And the lions are all injured at this point. There will be zero mercy. Absolute meat grinder to end the Lions season with a big, ugly L
I think the Packers will beat the Vikings because the two of them always split and the Vikings got their win already.
I love the disrespect for the Lions, I almost hope we lose in wk 18 only to claim everyone's knees in the playoffs
What has to happen for the Packers to not make the playoffs at this point?
Packers lose out, Falcons & Bucs both win out
So funny watching Grossi struggle with the fact Vikes are doing good. Ever think the Seahawks threw 43 times w Geno cuz the Vikes run D is top notch? He will never give the purple credit and instead blames the other team for making mistakes? LOL
GO RAMS!
Sleeper in the NFC!
Im tired of hearing shit aboutthat geno int. FOR THE LAST TIME, THAT INT WAS ON METCALF. ITS INSANE HOW METCALF IS GETTING A PASS ON DIS.
Both melted under the pressure
Pack lose 2 of 3 to miss the playoffs, calling it here.
That is very possible with this fraud of a team!
As long as the eagles get a first round exit I’ll be happy.
If the Vikings lose to GB will the Detroit Game even matter to the Vikings...unless Detroit also loses this week.
Nope, it’ll be my Lions :)
Let’s go Pack! Take care of business next week and the Purple incarnation of Satan stays in the wildcard.
HELLL NOOOOO!!!!!!! Also, the Lions will be number 1 seed
Yeah, but what if they're pretty good?
Tonight is the trap game of the week. Green Bay takes a loss in a shootout 41-38 Saints win!
I like it.
Packers are gunna beat the vikings then the Lions will lock up the #1 seed on MNF and basically have an extra bye week against the vikings they'll sit all starters and key backups play third or fourth stringers and practice squad players
They can hate and disrespect us Vikes all they want. Motivate us more, We vikes don’t care. We’re not scared to play anybody Or top .500 team, The more they hate us, the more they disrespect us, it’s a compliment from them to us to play more harder and win our games each week. Let the media know to keep yapping their mouths, we vikes will always play more hard and keep wining our games with our heads held high. SKOL.. One game at a time.
Except they never get past the first round in the playoffs....
@@mangos2888 we vikes don't care if we get pass or not we still not scared to play anyone or top .500 teams, traded for a 3rd bridge QB playing lights out, 13-2 that nobody or coaching was able to do we love the haters talks. we don't wanna to be known for all the yapping wining or losing. we just keep coming and coming and playing hard each week and let doubters like you and the media to watch and yapp more about us Vikes that's all we care. 666 current likes is pretty telling
Packers and the Lions gonna beat the Vikes then they lose in the 1st Round dude.
Skol
They will lose in the first game after bye.
Viks will get beat 1st rd or if they continue to get lucky and get a 1st rd bye...they will just lose in the 2nd rd instead 😂
If they beat Green Bay and Detroit on the road both games and finish 15-2 they will lose in the divisional round to whoever.
Oh hell no.
Jaden Daniels gonna be a playoff darling?
Stage waaaaay to big for the young'n!
Lions beat Minnesota handily on their own field. We sure ain't dropping the most important game of the last 30-50 years at home. We will have key defenders return for that game. Nobody stops our offense.
Vikes will be second in the north and third in the NFC. TBH Packers are more impressive as Vikings opponents boast a scalding hot 37% win rate. Least Packers beat actual teams.
And Packers have more than one weapon. Remove Jefferson Vikes are nothing. GB gotta lose BOTH it's star WR to slow down. And my Lions are already missing 38% of its starters but NOT slowing down LOL.
FURTHERMORE GB record isn't that bad given y'all play in NFLs hardest division.
Sad things happen! Sorry little kittens!
@@johnswanson3741 lol tbh it's really irrelevant. Whoever loses gets the more meaningful rematch postseason. I'm fine if we go in at 5 instead of 1. Absolutely crazy two teams in one division playing for the North and #1 seed. When both are having historic years.
Good luck. If you're a real fan you know our games often come down to a FG, missed FG, blocked FG or some ridiculously bad officiating and/or shenanigans. Lmao. Doesnt matter whose record is what historically.
The lions hAve 76% viking25%% eagles1%%%
Lions beat the 49ers. Packers beat the Vikings. Lions rest their starters against the Vikings week 18. Go Lions.

Vikings are paper tigers. They're getting bounced in the first round 👍
Not a chance. With who theyve beaten, theyre completely overrated. Theyll be out first round.
