i was reading a metallica book in class and my teacher walked up too me and said "so you like metallica"? i said yes and he said he had almost every metallica album and he said he would try and get me some copies. i smiled the whole day
The principle of my school is a drummer in a hard rock band, he saw me wearing a Metallica shirt and he said “Nice, ya like old or new metallica?” It was great dude
my teacher got the question if the students were allowed to listen to music on their phones he said no and then he said i could because he knew i listen to Metallica and he said he didnt forbid music but its gotta be good music my smile was also notable the rest of that day
Lol at the end of my sophomore my math teacher said he was gonna play some music for us to chill out in. Then I was like "play some cannibal corpse." He rejected cuz he'd probably get into trouble but then he said "but cannibal corpse is still the best concert I've been to" I'm sitting there like hell yeah
one time in prayer room ( because i go to a really catholic school ) the teacher asked for religious song recommendations, so naturally i tricked him into playing slayers jesus saves. being the only metalhead in the class and seeing everyones reactions was great.
I'm in 11th grade. In 9th grade, my guitar ensemble's teacher called Paranoid by Black Sabbath "screamo" I had never wanted to cut my wrists so bad in my life.
Dude I remember a couple days ago when I was in science class, my friend asked me this: “Hey, what song should I listen to? And don’t give me any of that screamo music or whatever” GOD I WAS SO MAD AT HIM If there wasn’t any adult supervision there then I would’ve beat his ass square and straight past the planet
My music teacher asked us to bring in some music that we listened to. I brought in a copy of Killing on Adrenaline, and he played THE WHOLE FUCKING THING! It was amazing! And he was a 50-something year old man who listened to classical music!
Classical music fans are close to metal and vice versa. At least from what I've seen. My mum, for example, played piano for 12 years and loved classical music. Now when I come home we headbang to Amon Amarth and Slayer lol.
Thane Krios I've played violin for four years but I loved metal before that so for me it was more like a push into classical music. I still have a Beethoven soundtrack my orchestra teacher gave me one year. I even caught up with her recently, of course by sheer luck, and we talked for a bit. She seemed to have also dyed her hair black since the last I saw her in 7th grade.
One year in PE we actually had to do dancing and everyone had to teach any dance for one lesson. Our teacher actually accepted that moshing is a dance whereupon we ACTUALLY DID MOSH IN PE LESSONS with maximum volume METAL!!!
Lmao, about a month ago my gym class had to get in a group and pick a song and make a dance to preform for the class, so me and my friend (we’re both female) said no homo and then slow danced to Infant Annihilator in front of our almost 50 person gym class 😂
I'm thought I'd tape my next 2 songs for the remastered 1990 thrash project on my channel? but this kids funny and I relate and I'm having spam with my coffee
My teacher for English this year is an old style metal head. Like thrash metal and NWOBHM. Let's say I say a lot of references that only me and him would understand
NeffGladiator my p. e. teacher is exactly the same i was wearing a ride the lightning t shirt next thing i knew we're talking about the NWOBHM and power metal. fucking awesome
Still in school, my mother works on the school I go to (she teaches some christian stuff and history, but not for my grades yet). She takes me to school each morning, and on 50% i take the schoolbus home. There's always a group of kids who make unbearable noise with their phones. One time they had a speaker playing pop shit like Drake and shit. Next evening i decided to take my own speaker and ^blasted some Revenge, Impiety, Archgoat among others
partly relatable because i once did a presentation about the history of metal the class was a bit uninterested but my teacher at least loved my passion for music
I have five stories: 1. I once wore my Metallica Master Of Puppets shirt to school and this girl complimented it and said it was cool. 2. I once brought up metal during Italian class (don't know why) and I found out that the Italian teacher likes Hard Rock and Metal. 3. For an essay we had to write a short story, so I wrote a fantasy story called "The Blind Guardian" where the villain is a dragon named 'Fenriz'. 4. For a school disco the theme was "black and white" so I wore Carach Angren corpse paint. 5. For the school talent show I sung Army Of The Night by Powerwolf, and people liked it.
I was talking with a teacher about my class, a metal song came on over the school radio and the first thing out of her mouth was "this music makes me want to slit my wrists". I lost all respect for that teacher, for obvious reasons...
I was in music class and I said I play guitar so my teacher said bring your electric guitar in so I did and everyone thought I would play some normal stuff but I started playing RAINING BLOOD by slayer the look on their faces was amazing
last years wen we had music lesson and the teacher asked someone to put some music on and she put like some pop song and half way threw the song the teacher yelled "i cant take this anymore, im going to play some good music kids learn what music actually is!" and he put Army Of The Night by Powerwolf, and me this dude in my class and me just started headbanging and the rest of the class looked so terrified. i loved that day will never forget
A few months ago my government teacher asked, "Does anybody in here listen to death metal?" He has this really nice stereo in his classroom that he plays music on, so of course I had to say yes. He asked me what I wanted him to play, so i suggested Cannibal Corpse. He turned on Hammer Smashed Face, hear the intro, and turned it up as loud as possible. You could hear that from the next building, that shit was amazing. By far the best teacher I've ever had, it made my fucking day.
When I was in high school science class, we were talking about municipal waste, and the slideshow had a picture of the band and I was the only one who knew who they were.
My story was somewhat like yours with slayer's angel of Death. My World history teacher told the class that before school ends she wanted us to do a project. she said she wanted the projects to be ww1 or ww2 and that they had to be a song or paper-mache structures. I asked her what if it was already written by someone else, she said that's 10 points off, and as she was reading the lyrics her face went from happy and shit to disgusted and unhappy. Long story short I passed the class with an A.
I remember in high school I had to do a artist spotlight for music. Basically talk about a artist that changed music or made some impact. Some people chose people like the dead Kennedys, P Diddy, or even Selena. I ended up choosing Death lol. I could only choose one band, but I felt that they made a huge impact in making death metal. I had to talk about each album, discuss the history, and even play a song from each album. Some people asked questions and I remember one kid saying "Isn't this the same as screamo music??"LOL. It was cool talking about different kinds of music, and having opinions or questions about each one. It even opened me up to artists I generally don't listen to and gave me a more open mind, since at the time I was more into metal and rock than any other genre.
When I was a Freshman in high school, I always got picked on by other students for listening to metal. There was a nun who also did it, but I knew that she was joking since we were (and still are good friends, despite our religious views). So one day she played the song "Happy" or whatever, so I got up to leave the class since I needed to go to the bathroom. When I walked back in she played "First Damned" by Decapitated, "Disasterpiece" by SlipKnoT, she played some Nick Barker era Dimmu Borgir and Old Man's Child, some Tyr and Children of Bodom amongst other bands for the rest of the year. Hell, I go and visit her every once in awhile and I still hear her playing metal music to her classes.
I got a chance to pick my topic for an informative speech in class and obviously I chose the history of metal. Keep in mind I'm 5' and dressed in a pretty blouse looking all professional getting very excited about everything from the blues to black metal. The entire class ended up giving me the "What the fuck is wrong with her?" look but whatever. It was great.
hahaha my friend and I chose black metal for a speech in 10th grade, and the day that we had to to the thing the teacher got sick so a substitute came and she loved black metal and knew everything we were talking about lmao
Teacher wanted her class to pick a song to play in class that had to do with a book we were reading. I picked Running Free by Iron Maiden because I thought it fit well. I started playing it and the class seemed to like it. However, the teacher got mildly infuriated and told me turn it off. Also, I ended up getting a D on the assignment. All because she didn't like the song.
+MasterCyconide Ha! xD what book was it? at least the students reacted well. Story I didn't tell here was about the college Spring Fling when I asked the DJ to play "As Your Casket Closes" by Ghoul. Some people stared and meanwhile me and a couple buddies started our own mosh pit right in the middle of it.
It was Fahrenheit 451. I chose the song for the part where he's running from the law. I even stated this specifically to her! And about your story, I think it's always funny when other people are bewildered by metal music!
I'm in a guitar class, Junior in high school. My teacher said I had the option to play one song of my choice for a test, any song of choice. I played Obituary's Gates to Hell. The look of everyone's faces when my hair and Tardy's vocals kicked in was fucking priceless.
My headphones were pulled out of my laptop during Spanish class, the teacher is catholic, and the whole class hear a legendary Nergal growl from Ora Pro Nobis Lucifer at full volume... after I stopped laughing 15 minutes later everyone looked at me like I killed someone, WORTH IT!!!!! 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
I remember one time at school, it was in music class, and everybody got to pick one song to play to the class (on UA-cam). At the time, I was OBSESSED with Slayer, so I put on Repentless. It seemed everyone was slightly scared because of the violence in it, but I was just sitting at my desk with a huge smile on my face. One of the best days of my life!!
I'm in 10th (soon to be 11th) grade, and we have a guitar ensemble. The teacher literally only plays what he likes and pretends we suggested it. Whenever me or the other kid that likes metal play any in our practice time, he's always super condescending about it. Once he talked about the importance of rhythm/keeping in time, and he said something like "You know, rhythm and keeping in time doesn't matter if you just wanna sit around and play metal all day" and I was just thinking about the naivety of that statement. And the worst part, he has a doctorate in music, specifically specializing in percussion. So he of all people should be able the recognize the complexity of the rhythm and time in metal.
That is awesome! The story of the 7 year old reminds me of this couple I'm really good friends with and they have a 7 year old of their own and she likes some typical little girl stuff like Frozen and pink, but thanks to her parents she also LOVES Black metal, which is awesome because we can jam to Satyricon and Immortal together
My physical science teacher entered the room screamed SLAYYER! and asked everyone their favorite metal band. Of couse their were idiotic answers like blink182 and BS. I instantly bonded with him.
Once my philosophy teacher was talking about the power of imagery, especially the satanic imagery, and when he said "cuz there are bands using satanic images" and he looked to me from the corner of his eyes, and I was like"oh yeah that's the shit I'm into"
@@Theringodair yeah, I think Kerry King writes most of their songs. Tom Araya, Slayer's lead singer/bassist, is Catholic, and hates the movie "The Exorcist" because it's based on true events, and being Catholic, he doesn't like that. He says that all their stuff is written to get under people's skin, and irritate them.
Yeah my english teacher was talking about the same thing and she mentioned angel of death. I did my best slayer impression and blurted out in a distorted voice "ANGEL OF DEATH! MONARCH TO THE KINGDOM OF THE DEAD" haha she actually knew about slayer so thats pretty cool.
One time in my World History class in 10th grade, we went over the French Revolution and "Bastille Day" then they played "Bastille Day" by Rush. Awesome!
so for my olf AP language and literature class i had to write an 12 paragraph essay on something of my choosing. I chose metal because my teacher said dont choose music as you wont be able it get enough out of it, and you WILL fail. So i did the different styles and genres of metal, 15 paragraphs, near perfect score overall, and a 9 on the AP grading scale which is the highest.
Me as a teacher: “Hello class... today we’ll be learning about World War Two” *brings soundtrack to the apocalypse closer to my face* “Let’s start with the angel of death”
In my school we're given computers for the school year, and my lock screen is Slayers reign in blood album cover. My classmates that sit behind me saw it ,and now think im morbid... ...And I love it
My favorite that I remember is when my friend and I, in around 11th grade, were marching through the hallway with a miniature speaker BLASTING Deicide, and some guy walked up to us looking freaked out and asked "Is... is that satanic?" We both grinned and said "This song, yes it is, actually!" and his expression contorted even more as he quickly turned the other way and walked the other direction at a high pace.
I listen to a little bit of metal, but am more of a sucker for pop punk and mostly punk... But you seem like the type of kid i wish went to my school. You are so enthusiastic about music I love it!
Today in English we're talking about a book about the holocaust. My teacher said "email me different things you find about the holocaust with these computers" and every post was shown on the projector. Being the genius that I am I posted the lyrics to angel of death and it was on the projector. I was just acknowledging that slayer was on the projector of my English class!!!!
In 10th grade we were discussing the angel of death after reading Ellie Wiesel’s memoir Night. I mentioned the Slayer song and the whole class cringed but my English teacher was a metal and punk fan so we discussed the Slayer song with the class. It was awesome.
I can relate to the whole "musicians isn't presented as a career option" thing. It's like this forbidden job which no one wants you to have. Anyways, I also have a cool story: So in English class, we were reading The Circle, a book that tells the story of this girl who starts working at an awesome social media company but it absorbs her life in the end. We were supposed to pick out songs that represented the feelings in the book and everybody had picked happy pop songs representing the beginning of the story where she's supper happy and enthusiastic about working there. I spontaneously decided to show them Master of Puppets and said how it's actually about drug addiction but relates well to the story as social media is like a drug. I put it on and skipped to the different sections and kind of explained it and after like 30 seconds, the teacher was like "yeah I think we have listened to enough of this song now, who else wants to present?".
For a history project, we had to present a song with a deeper meaning. I chose Holy Wars and triggered a bunch of classmates while the other half of them were headbanging; it was on full blast in the classroom and was generally amazing to see people's reactions
I was at this Manowar concert on february and this old dude that was watching the same show gave me this weird look when I enterd the concert because i was the only teenager there. Im 15 and from Norway sadly most teenagers have left their metal many years ago and are now listning to EDM and pop shit. Was a great concert thoe
Solartic well todays kids all go out on partys and stuff where they only play EDM and they will keep listning to this music when they are at home and think of metal as only "screaming and satanic" and metal is something old dudes listen to. I just tell them all "Real men listen to metal" :D
Vetleks for their final battle tour ill be 17. i cant wait, but i know most of their fans, and the band members will be older. but there'll still be the same energy!
Vetleks it makes me so sad. it feels like all the 80s bands will start retiring and my children and even me myself wont be able to see the greats live. i guess we just gotta love them while theyre here.
One time, our music teacher played Painkiller by Judas Priest in class. I was in a good mood for the rest of the day. I got caught listening to Slayer in class once, and the teacher had to call me over to her desk. I was actually pretty upset.
Few weeks ago, my biology teacher's assistant was looking for music to turn on for the last 20 minutes of class, and she looked at me (the only metalhead in class) and ask if I knew and "appropriate" metal songs. First song that came to mind, Black Metal by Venom. Hearing the comments from everyone in class was perfect, and to top it off, she liked it!
So I just finished 7th grade like 4 or 5 weeks ago. So I'm choir and I was wearing a Metallica shirt and the choir director likes to put on fun videos on Friday. So basically he decided to put on Bohemian Rhapsody in the style of Metallica and a bunch of other bands and basically the whole class was just looking at me with my expressions of happiness
Me and my friends were in a computer lab and messed with the speakers and started playing Soil The Stillborn by Infant Annihilator on the speakers. Let's just say that everyone gave us the same looks they would give if they witnessed Leatherface chopping someone up. And I also got a 7 year old girl listening to Obituary, Cannibal Corpse, and Dying Fetus. I swear, she head bangs just like George Corpsegrinder. I want to get a video so bad. It was in a Christian household to }:) also. I'm in a band. I was at my band mate's house messing with his speakers that are loud enough to be heard through the house, given it's a small house, but he also has a bass system. I played Cutthroat, by Ethereal Ruination, and I turned the bass up, and the bass drop from the breakdown made the house shake At one of our band meetings, our bass player brought out his 6 string bass, and we plugged it into his bass amp, and turned it to full blast. It's a professional bass amp, meant for concerts, and so I tried a bass drop with the top 3 thickest strings, and I hit it hard, and then it didn't just shake and vibrate the house, but the next 2 houses over, and had dogs barking. It was like an explosion, and it was amazing. Plus my English teacher asked me to do my growl and vocal demonstration for the class. It was hilarious everyone's reaction. He also asked me to do my little demon crawl thing while doing my beast high screams. It scared the piss out of everyone, plus people were watching my UA-cam videos in class.
My lit teacher back in highschool used to play metal songs that were based on the books we were talking about. I've heard so much Metallica and Iron Maiden that year. :D Obviously he usually couldn't play them in their entirety (cause he couldn't kill like 10 minutes every time just for a song) but it was great anyway. And I actually discovered Machine Head thanks to him, when we were learning about Hemingway's "A Farewell To Arms". One of my favourite bands now.
So my math teacher will occasionally play stuff like three days grace and that's how I started listening to metal and my friend was sitting there like,"How can you enjoy this the guy is just depressed and they're hittitng the guitar a lot." "You think this is heavy I'll show you thy art is murder after we get out." so I did and he just sat there giving me a disgusted look sayin,"All I herd was come out from the pits of hell and none of this music takes any kind of talent." "I'd like to see you scream like that." The best scream he could let out was like a suicide silence kind of scream.
when I was 12-13 my dad took me to a local punk concert. I was up at the front dancing the whole time, and this kid who was like 15-17 came up to me and told me i should learn how to two step. I have since learned how to two step (the hardcore dance), and I still see that person around my city and local concerts. GO TO LOCAL CONCERTS!!!!
I had to watch a Documentary and make a presentation on it and I did mine on a heavy metal documentary I felt so proud up there teaching the class about Heavy Metal and I go to a CHRISTIAN SCHOOL! 😊
One time I was taking a test and my teacher said don’t talk unless there slayer lyrics and I looked up at him really fast and screamed WORLD PAINTED BLOOD NO SANCTUARY and I got sent to the office for disrupting class but it was fucking worth it and he ended up being my favorite teacher even if he did send me to the office
I was told to bring in my favourite album and play my favourite songs of the album so I brought in slayer reign in blood and the girl next to me literally said something along the lines of "one direction's better than this"... needless to say I got extremely pissed of and wanted to punch her ( I didn't punch her I just really wanted to)
Late af but at college the other day i was on break from class I saw the culinary instructor getting ready to leave. As he was walking by I noticed he was wearing an Iron Maiden shirt. I made sure to compliment it as he passed, and then he got all excited and we discussed maiden for the rest of my break 🤘🏻🤘🏻
+Barrigard Thank you, the school I went to (got my Associate's in Arts WITH my high school diploma) gave us laptops for the year (funded by Bill Gates at first).
ahh i remember.. it was government class for the seniors. my group got media so naturally, i hopped on the music topic like it was gonna fade to black before my eyes. needless to say the day of the presentation i scared my class with The Amity Afflictions Chasing Ghosts and Rob Zombies House Of 1000 Corpses.
Once I got to DJ for an art class and I decided to play Nightwish. It lasted for about four songs before some girl yelled "I hate this Metallica stuff!" and switched the music to some terrible rap. Um, Nightwish and Metallica sound nothing alike? I don't look like a metalhead, so people are always very surprised by my taste in music. Once I asked someone what they THOUGHT I listened to and they said classical - apparently because I'm a geek with good grades. Once we had to do a song parody project for a government class. Everyone used generic pop songs, rap songs, and Christmas songs. I did an Amaranthe song and it freaked some people out. I thought Amaranthe would be more socially acceptable, but NOPE! I did get an A on it, though. In the middle of class, I opened my computer and a GloryHammer song started playing super loudly...and that's how I got my classmate into that band! (Thankfully most people didn't hear the lyrics.)
some days ago my music teacher let me and some friends watching her 3th grade students and I was holding the teachers guitar... since that moment those kids learned about AC/DC, Metallica, Iron Maiden and Nirvana \m/ nice video, Mustaine
I love this! My son is in 9th grade, and I’m an old Slayer fan, so we were amused :). Love your videos - you’re an incredibly animated, engaging storyteller.
I had a project last year where we were able to do it on any extensive topic. What did I do it on? Metal genres of course. I tried to add in as many as I can explain and make it like a timeline of when each genre was formed. I unfortunately didn't get to present it because by the time I finished, we had to watch The Outsiders and I went to Disney with my school's band and orchestra, it was fun despite the constant rain. My science teacher this year loves heavy metal and that's one of the reasons why he's my favorite teacher this year, for some reason though, everyone at my table hates him. I'm just sitting here like WTF, how could you hate this guy? If my crush hates him too, then I'm done. Bye, not gonna try to talk to you anymore. OK I'm kidding but I would like her much less than I actually do. I have a friend this year who also loves heavy metal, actually more like a few. Two of them are more into the club-like moshing music of thrash and extreme metal and one is more into the melodious sounds of power metal, more my thing. Also the power metal person is a girl, my mom even works with her at LegoLand. There was at least one day where we both wore a band shirt of a symphonic metal band. She had a Delain shirt on, I had Nightwish. She brought it up later when I first rode the school bus because I was wearing that shirt again.
Last day of school me and a few other guys put on some S.OD. and municipal waste had a mosh put during the end of our P.E. class! So much fun, the teachers were occupied watching some of the other students so they didnt see us moshing. We also had a small mosh during the passing period a couple days before.
+Killbot&GorGorAttack!! Hell yeah! that was one of the songs that really made us start a mosh. The teachers made us just sit around and do nothing we just went for it when they walked away. Good times
So far in college I got my Student Success professor to play Black Sabbath and gave a presentation in Communications class about why Megadeth is better than Metallica
In 7th grade we listened to Rammstein in german class
Shiba That's badass. Sodom would be good too.
Or helloween or blind guardian
Soph Dennis except well, Rammstein speaks German in pretty much all their songs, even the song titles. Oomph!!! is like Rammstein but heavier.
Same
Kreator and Destruction must be awsoume!
i was reading a metallica book in class and my teacher walked up too me and said "so you like metallica"? i said yes and he said he had almost every metallica album and he said he would try and get me some copies. i smiled the whole day
some kind of monster?
The principle of my school is a drummer in a hard rock band, he saw me wearing a Metallica shirt and he said “Nice, ya like old or new metallica?” It was great dude

Ur teacher is so cool! I'm jealous rn!
What copy did you get?
0:25 yep. every metalhead knows exactly where this story's going
I said ohh angel of death and laughed right after he said that lmao
The teacher must feel like she was having surgery without anesthetiser (sorry if I spelt that wrong)
Yardy know🤘🏼😂
Lol at the end of my sophomore my math teacher said he was gonna play some music for us to chill out in. Then I was like "play some cannibal corpse." He rejected cuz he'd probably get into trouble but then he said "but cannibal corpse is still the best concert I've been to" I'm sitting there like hell yeah
Bitchin
If i was a teacher i would blast that
I've been begging my teacher to play metal for like a month
I've tried to get my teacher to play K-pop (back in my koreaboo phase) and watsky, and metal
Your teacher is awesome, Cannible Corpse is awesome!
one time in prayer room ( because i go to a really catholic school ) the teacher asked for religious song recommendations, so naturally i tricked him into playing slayers jesus saves. being the only metalhead in the class and seeing everyones reactions was great.
@@flameosaurus1832 what do u not understand
You are a genius
i tricked my music teacher in playing creeping death in my class lol
I had the same experience but I told my teacher to play discipline and everyone got mad when Tom said god hates us all
OH MY GOSH YOU DID NOT
I'm in 11th grade. In 9th grade, my guitar ensemble's teacher called Paranoid by Black Sabbath "screamo"
I had never wanted to cut my wrists so bad in my life.
Dude I remember a couple days ago when I was in science class, my friend asked me this:
“Hey, what song should I listen to? And don’t give me any of that screamo music or whatever”
GOD I WAS SO MAD AT HIM
If there wasn’t any adult supervision there then I would’ve beat his ass square and straight past the planet
*quickly reads the comments* HAHAH JESUSFUCKINGCHRIST haha emo much!?
A couple weeks ago, this FRICKEN child said, "I don't want to listen to your dumb emo music." 🙃
Lmaooooo
Steve Curson people at my school play that shitty ass baby doo doo shark song or that mainstream pop shit
Glad I'm not the only metalhead who likes punk also, there's so little of that going around
i agree, i have a sex pistols patch on my shoulder and on the other shoulder an arch enemy patch
I love both Punk and Metalheads
Both for me too, is it not cool or something? FUKEM!
Grew up on black flag, minor threat, and bad religion so I can naturally relate.
metalpunks for life!
My music teacher asked us to bring in some music that we listened to. I brought in a copy of Killing on Adrenaline, and he played THE WHOLE FUCKING THING! It was amazing! And he was a 50-something year old man who listened to classical music!
So not only one of the better Fetus albums, but played in school for a 50 year old >:D where was he when I was in school? Lol

Amon Amarth and Slayer are a weird mix of metal. One's melodic and the other is just pure brutal thrash. Still I like both as well.

Alaina Rouse And that’s how you get a dance GCSE kids
Why isn't this channel more popular? I've been binge watching for the past 2 fricking hours... No regrets on 'wasting my day' this way
Thank you, it definitely helps when viewes share and repost. even with anyone remotely interested in the mighty forces of metal, punk, or industrial!
its 03:38 and i have 2 exams in like 6 hours and can't stop watching rip
I have work in 6 hours and here I am back watching again, haha
I have school in an hour and I'm still in bed

I did a music project on burzum and the teacher loved it.
I scarred the class a little bit and got an A.
Suffice to say it was all worth it.
You're a fucking legend.
partly relatable because i once did a presentation about the history of metal the class was a bit uninterested but my teacher at least loved my passion for music
What did you cover? Im planning to do project on Mayhem since it allows me to cover more stuff that happened despite liking Burzum more
I have five stories:
Masky Chain that's one of my favorite Powerwolf songs \m/
Masky Chain when did you wear the metallica shirt? I bet you that girl was just a Kylie Jenner follower lol
LockPix Games I wore it earlier this year
I LOVE CARACH ANGREN
Anonymous Prime yeah, they totally rock
my band director from 7-12 grade was a huge metalhead, I ended up getting him into Lamb of God, and he got me into Mastodon, good shit
I was talking with a teacher about my class, a metal song came on over the school radio and the first thing out of her mouth was "this music makes me want to slit my wrists". I lost all respect for that teacher, for obvious reasons...
She sounds like she has some serious issues, and she needs to grow up.
I was in music class and I said I play guitar so my teacher said bring your electric guitar in so I did and everyone thought I would play some normal stuff but I started playing RAINING BLOOD by slayer the look on their faces was amazing
PunkRock...the spirit of it, not the genre! 9well kinda, they love DRI and Dead Kennedy's and a lot of Reigning Blood Sounds punk to me)
raining blood seems normal to me lol (legend tho🤘😎)
That’s sick
Last day of primary school we got to listen to music as a class. I asked for Slipknot psychosocial and the teacher put it on. Best day of school
imagine a bunch of like modern teens seeing slipknot for the first time
@@cliffisfuckingawesome3508 have since had Megadeth, Iron Maiden and a few others played and they seemed to like Slipknot the most
@@granulatingdarksataniclad2210 interesting
I wish I could do that
@@granulatingdarksataniclad2210 Slipknot is the most palatable for Normies.
last years wen we had music lesson and the teacher asked someone to put some music on and she put like some pop song and half way threw the song the teacher yelled "i cant take this anymore, im going to play some good music kids learn what music actually is!" and he put Army Of The Night by Powerwolf, and me this dude in my class and me just started headbanging and the rest of the class looked so terrified. i loved that day will never forget
AWESOME.
My US History teacher showed us Black Sabbath and Iron Maiden songs in his course. \m/
Mike Voss Your history teacher sounds so school. Mostly because I love Iron Maiden.
History teachers need to start putting maiden on, because all of their song are about historical events (well most of them).
My history teacher is a metal head this year me and another metal head have that class we gonan make him a battle jacket
i teach kids drumming so i planted the seed of METALLICAH!! and SLAYEEER!! IN THEM
/w\ /w\ Both on my guitar channel, let's collab!
ALL THE GAIN!
NO MIDS!
SLAYER!
Why would your teacher give you a disturbed look shouldn't she/he give you a slayer look 😎
if i were in her shoes i'd just scream: FUCKIN SLAYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEER
I played the song Pull the Plug in class when we could request songs. No one liked it apart from me and my friend. :(
bro i dont have any metalhead friends
Me too :( Only 3 metalheads in my school.
same... everybody hates my music and thats not even exaggerated.
pull the plug is a great song, very underated
America problems
I remember in high school I had to do a artist spotlight for music. Basically talk about a artist that changed music or made some impact. Some people chose people like the dead Kennedys, P Diddy, or even Selena. I ended up choosing Death lol. I could only choose one band, but I felt that they made a huge impact in making death metal. I had to talk about each album, discuss the history, and even play a song from each album. Some people asked questions and I remember one kid saying "Isn't this the same as screamo music??"LOL. It was cool talking about different kinds of music, and having opinions or questions about each one. It even opened me up to artists I generally don't listen to and gave me a more open mind, since at the time I was more into metal and rock than any other genre.
dude you should start your own band you'd make a killer front man
When I was a Freshman in high school, I always got picked on by other students for listening to metal.
Glen Barrantes That's awesome! My professor looked super awkward as soon as I started moving on from talking about the 50s and 60s
+MasterCyconide Haha! I read American Psycho a year ago and thought of "Chainsaw Gutsfuck" by Mayhem when I got to the middle xD
+MasterCyconide I did something similar but with the beautiful people by Manson, was a good day
+whatIdo Hehe xD
I'm in a guitar class, Junior in high school. My teacher said I had the option to play one song of my choice for a test, any song of choice. I played Obituary's Gates to Hell. The look of everyone's faces when my hair and Tardy's vocals kicked in was fucking priceless.
Matthew William O'Donnell don't go to guitar class if you're paying money there's free lessons on UA-cam
I wrote a presentation on death metal lyrics, and played Nile to the whole class. The teacher was genuinely thrilled.

Frick yeah, behemoth is awesome🤘
This video is great I wonder were this six year old is now?
If I'm doing my math correctly, he's gotta be 12 by now. Just the right age to get into the mighty force known as the metal >:D
+Killbot&GorGorAttack!! By the way love your videos dude
We shall spread the destructive force of the metal upon more and more people and plant the seeds indeed
Killbot&GorGorAttack!! I learned about at age 9 I'm 11 let's just say I have an epic brother
Killbot&GorGorAttack!! iv gotta meet him we can mosh I'm 11 he's 12 >:D
Raiden Stark that is awesome, a 7 yo who likes black metal.
auditour3 yeah she's an awesome little thing. totally her parents' kid lol
That girl is legit me XD
Holy cow I need to find that kid
shes the girl from black metal babysitter
My physical science teacher entered the room screamed SLAYYER! and asked everyone their favorite metal band. Of couse their were idiotic answers like blink182 and BS. I instantly bonded with him.
Once my philosophy teacher was talking about the power of imagery, especially the satanic imagery, and when he said "cuz there are bands using satanic images" and he looked to me from the corner of his eyes, and I was like"oh yeah that's the shit I'm into"
If she means Slayer., she is dead wrong. Their bassist is a Catholic.
MONARCH TO THE KINGDOM OF THE DEAD" haha she actually knew about slayer so thats pretty cool.
omg the bo burnham "it's time for a story" reference made me sub!!!
One time in my World History class in 10th grade, we went over the French Revolution and "Bastille Day" then they played "Bastille Day" by Rush. Awesome!
+1 Sub 😊

Obey your master. Master.. master of puppets i’m pulling your strings
so for my olf AP language and literature class i had to write an 12 paragraph essay on something of my choosing. I chose metal because my teacher said dont choose music as you wont be able it get enough out of it, and you WILL fail. So i did the different styles and genres of metal, 15 paragraphs, near perfect score overall, and a 9 on the AP grading scale which is the highest.
Me as a teacher:
“Hello class... today we’ll be learning about World War Two”
*brings soundtrack to the apocalypse closer to my face*
“Let’s start with the angel of death”
In my school we're given computers for the school year, and my lock screen is Slayers reign in blood album cover. My classmates that sit behind me saw it ,and now think im morbid...
...And I love it
I’m currently doing an essay in school about metal, the music itself, the genres, and history throughout the years
Who else is the only metal head in their school🙁
My favorite that I remember is when my friend and I, in around 11th grade, were marching through the hallway with a miniature speaker BLASTING Deicide, and some guy walked up to us looking freaked out and asked "Is... is that satanic?" We both grinned and said "This song, yes it is, actually!" and his expression contorted even more as he quickly turned the other way and walked the other direction at a high pace.
Which song? Not Satanic, more anti xtian I think...Satan is a xtian invention too, right?
Most metal channel ever. Someone give him more fame!!!!
My 7th grade social studies teacher played Alexander the Great while we were learning about him in school.
HammerMC I learned that stuff in sixth grade.
My 8th grade teacher played us rime of the ancient mariner by iron maiden when we were reading it
rowan mcadoo how many people didn't like the song in your class?
my dad teaches about the charge of the light brigade and I make him play The Trooper every year
One day my teacher said that she was pregnant and she hoped that his fetus will live. I said loudly: dying fetus! Nobody understood what was going on
r/thatHappened
His fetus? A MALE?! IMPREGNATED?!
that's not right
Kids love metal once they get older they start to judge it but if you introduced to it at a young age it stays with you for the rest your life
For a history project, we had to present a song with a deeper meaning. I chose Holy Wars and triggered a bunch of classmates while the other half of them were headbanging; it was on full blast in the classroom and was generally amazing to see people's reactions
That beginning killed me😂
Good ol’ Bo Burnham
u are officially my favourite youtuber
I love your videos and loving that misfits shirt
Gracias!
Vetleks the fuck? what hapenned to Norway?
Solartic well todays kids all go out on partys and stuff where they only play EDM and they will keep listning to this music when they are at home and think of metal as only "screaming and satanic" and metal is something old dudes listen to. I just tell them all "Real men listen to metal" :D
Vetleks for their final battle tour ill be 17. i cant wait, but i know most of their fans, and the band members will be older. but there'll still be the same energy!
Jordan I cant wait either for the last tour, cannot miss them the last time they play here
Vetleks it makes me so sad. it feels like all the 80s bands will start retiring and my children and even me myself wont be able to see the greats live. i guess we just gotta love them while theyre here.
One time, our music teacher played Painkiller by Judas Priest in class. I was in a good mood for the rest of the day.
I got caught listening to Slayer in class once, and the teacher had to call me over to her desk. I was actually pretty upset.
I legit had this happen to me, but I actually recommended that the class study the lyrics. And we did.
GOOD, it's important!
Few weeks ago, my biology teacher's assistant was looking for music to turn on for the last 20 minutes of class, and she looked at me (the only metalhead in class) and ask if I knew and "appropriate" metal songs. First song that came to mind, Black Metal by Venom. Hearing the comments from everyone in class was perfect, and to top it off, she liked it!
just discovered this channel, awesome vids man
\m/
Sounds like a dream I’d have. That’s truly funny 😂
I know how you feel, I swear every time I see someone with a metal shirt on the street for some reason I'm happy for the whole rest of the day!
One of my favourite bands now.
my music teacher showed me his vinyls in band class and let me play guitar after class time... miss that day
So my math teacher will occasionally play stuff like three days grace and that's how I started listening to metal and my friend was sitting there like,"How can you enjoy this the guy is just depressed and they're hittitng the guitar a lot." "You think this is heavy I'll show you thy art is murder after we get out." so I did and he just sat there giving me a disgusted look sayin,"All I herd was come out from the pits of hell and none of this music takes any kind of talent." "I'd like to see you scream like that." The best scream he could let out was like a suicide silence kind of scream.
when I was 12-13 my dad took me to a local punk concert.
Decline of the western civilization part 2
Slayer, Metallica, Anthrax, Exciter, etc. the early 80's of thrash metal were happening during my high school years.
I had the Root of Evil shirt from ur logo in school! and the tie-dyed winged SLayer one...check my jamz ol'timer!
3:13 OML that reminded me of when I got a 6yo girl in my village to like system of a down and her parents where really proud of me
I was told to bring in my favourite album and play my favourite songs of the album so I brought in slayer reign in blood and the girl next to me literally said something along the lines of "one direction's better than this"... needless to say I got extremely pissed of and wanted to punch her ( I didn't punch her I just really wanted to)
I just realized I’m gonna have hair just like yours. Just without the curls and deep brown. ❤️🔥
Do you by chance know the band Kraut? It was a punk band from the 80s based in NYC and my uncle was the lead singer
"It's all twisted! It's all twisted!" :D sounds cool

That's cool!
I remember one time in school I told a kid I had the evciration plauge and he just walked away
I was listening to Dying Fetus in English one time and my headphones fell out and my teacher said that it was her favorite band
When I watch kill bot and Gor Gor attack videos, I CANT STOP!!!
My home room teacher (social studies, ila) is a huge metalhead. She's my favorite teacher!
In my history course we were learning about the 60's and 70's in England, you should've seen the smile on my face when we learnt about Black Sabbath!
during the first story the smile on my face was so big it hurt my throat
Late af but at college the other day i was on break from class I saw the culinary instructor getting ready to leave. As he was walking by I noticed he was wearing an Iron Maiden shirt. I made sure to compliment it as he passed, and then he got all excited and we discussed maiden for the rest of my break 🤘🏻🤘🏻
Laptops in school? lol you kids.

ahh i remember.. it was government class for the seniors. my group got media so naturally, i hopped on the music topic like it was gonna fade to black before my eyes. needless to say the day of the presentation i scared my class with The Amity Afflictions Chasing Ghosts and Rob Zombies House Of 1000 Corpses.
avril raven wow your tough u listen to the amity affliction
This channel is seriously awesome
Nightwish is my favorite symphonic metal band. Love them!!
some days ago my music teacher let me and some friends watching her 3th grade students and I was holding the teachers guitar... since that moment those kids learned about AC/DC, Metallica, Iron Maiden and Nirvana \m/
nice video, Mustaine
You gained a sub dude...I love these vids! And you know what you're talking about too. Sick as!
Was there a Substitute Creature present? ;)
+Killbot&GorGorAttack!! Hell yeah! that was one of the songs that really made us start a mosh. The teachers made us just sit around and do nothing we just went for it when they walked away. Good times
I also blasted hammer smashed.face in computer class in my headphones and everyone could hear it im in 7th grade
So far in college I got my Student Success professor to play Black Sabbath and gave a presentation in Communications class about why Megadeth is better than Metallica
