The DOA6 looks so off because it’s incomplete. They abandoned support and it showed. Sucks anyone who tries to get into DOA5LR now won’t have Mai :/

Is it me or DOA roster post-Itagaki leaving/in 5-6 seems off-putting?
Like in 1 they have more male roster and yet the female roster get more service
In 2-4, they roster are balance or 55/45
While in 5-6, almost majority of the roster are females
I'm not hating but I can see

They were definitely going for that fan service in the last 2 games. Especially looking at costumes. DOA6 specifically for me because the characters they Added, Diego a basic ass 69 move character. And the rest of the new characters were female and/or repeat dlc’s as well. The only 2 dlc’s that weren’t repeat was Kula, and Tamaki and when I first saw her I was like mm another pretty girl but then she herself in how she fights adds nothing new imo besides that damn slide grab thing. Like Ik people like the female cast but idk I just feel is way too disproportionate. If I counted correctly 31 characters. 20 female characters with 11 males. Then the male characters definitely don’t get as much costumes 😭.and then there’s games like mk1 that goes the complete opposite direction fr. (Sorry a little rant, I just hate how DOA 6 turned out)

ngl, Diego whole traits (from gameplay, lore and personality) are bland af.
I mean look at other brawlers like:
- Miguel from Tekken.
- Cody from Street Fighter.
They have more aura than him
And for Tamaki, her Aikido is too soft that even Asuka hit harder than that
