I really like Hyoyeon,she is kinda underrated! She is such a skilled dancer and untop of that I kinda like her personality,I think it's well balanced, maybe it's just me. As a dancer, I totally feel for Hyoyeon. Like when they said it must be like torture and how she said she's used to big, bold movements. Like, it's so difficult to reign yourself in when you want to do more because you know you can do more. Being asked to do little leg kicks and stuff must be no fun for her. I was happy with I Got A Boy's choreography because it was a chance for Hyoyeon to show off, but she never gets any screen time in the MVs...Hyoyeon will forever be my girl bias among all girl groups. I Got A Boy was choreographed by renowned American choreographers Nappytabs, and as you said, closest to her preferred style of locking/popping/waving/boogaloo. Still she is not given much screen time nor moved to the center for solo section. It's already 7 years since debut, she won't have any more chance now.

i just want to say few lines about hyoyeon. hyoyeon is the reason, why i like SNSD. I love SNSD so much, but what makes me love them more than other bands, is Hyoyeon. I don't know why. Maybe it's because she's pretty, or she dances good or something else. I couldn't discribe why. I just love her. When i read comments like, she's ugly, nobody likes her blablabla, i don't get angry. I get sad. Sad because everybody looks at the things outer and not in the person. I mean, i dont know her personal, but have you seen the 2nd Video of 'OH!' ? Yes, ok. But have you seen Hyoyeon in this video? When i watch that video first time, i was just watchin Hyoyeon. Only her. Why? If you see the Video you will notice why. I have not seen her for a second not smiling. Not be happy in that video. In every moment, every step she does in that video she's smiling. Oh my god, have you seen her smile? I think that for me - and this can go for many other people who are fans of hyoyeon - the moment I fell in love with hyoyeon was when she danced. The first moment she caught my eye was in their debut mv nearly 10 years ago, when she hadn't "toned down" her dancing enough. Hyoyeon as she is, is why I love her.

I love Hyoyeon! She is not meant for GG. It works well for her. But she can sing/rap and she is an amazing dancer. They don't give her the credit she deserves. I am not trying to knock down any other members,but they like the people like Jessica and Tiffany. Sunny, SooYoung, and Hyoyeon don't get enough!

Tbh at first I didn't even know Hyo was in SNSD. It wasn't until I got tired of Yoona acting cute I saw Hyo. She was in the back and got fewer lines than anyone in the group. Damn, the girl's got skills! That wave was awesome! I wish they had put a few seconds of that as a solo in SNSD choreography every now and then. She would have LOVED to show what she can do and the fans would have loved to see something a little different from SNSD's (excellent) formation choreography. “Girl’s Generation’s cute choreography doesn’t suit me” Now I feel a little sorry for her. It must have been hard for her being forced to do a kind of dancing she really doesn’t like while she is so good at a different style of dance. However, I don’t feel TOO sorry for her, though, because as a member of SNSD she gets to be an international pop star with millions of adoring fans around the world. Only a very few people in the world get to be rich and famous no matter what horrible job they have. Personally, I don’t particularly enjoy popping and locking, I DO like stunning formation dancing with kick-ass choreography. That is why I have always thought she was overrated as a dancer. Like they mentioned in the video, doing a rumba walk well is VERY difficult. I've been working on it for years. If she picked it up quickly, than I am more impressed than ever at her dancing ability.
I do feel bad for Hyoyeon sometimes, she is an amazing dancer but even when she does have the oppurtunity to show it they rarely ever give her the spotlight, it's only for like a second. I think it'll also be hard for her to get even better when she has SNSD dances she has to learn and practice and probably rarely get to do her own thing. Maybe in the future she'll be able to do dancing only and she will be GLORIOUS! haha

I really don't know how to control myself when it comes to Hyoyeon's dancing, I know there are 8 other members and Sones may feel a little insulted if we say Hyoyeon is wasting her talent now and SNSD's dances are not challenging, but if you see what Hyoyeon can really do you'll really understand!!

Tbh at first I didn't even know Hyo was in SNSD. It wasn't until I got tired of Yoona acting cute I saw Hyo. She was in the back and got fewer lines than anyone in the group. But what made me idolize her was bc of the fact that she smiles. Not the kind of "fake" smiles that the other female idols show. You could see it in her eyes that she meant every single thing or action she did or said That is how hyoyunnies see our Kim Choding and if you dont like her then dont I'm not telling u to love her

Damn, the girl's got skills! That wave was awesome! I wish they had put a few seconds of that as a solo in SNSD choreography every now and then. She would have LOVED to show what she can do and the fans would have loved to see something a little different from SNSD's (excellent) formation choreography.

Now I feel a little sorry for her. It must have been hard for her being forced to do a kind of dancing she really doesn’t like while she is so good at a different style of dance. However, I don’t feel TOO sorry for her, though, because as a member of SNSD she gets to be an international pop star with millions of adoring fans around the world. Only a very few people in the world get to be rich and famous no matter what horrible job they have.
Personally, I don’t particularly enjoy popping and locking, I DO like stunning formation dancing with kick-ass choreography. That is why I have always thought she was overrated as a dancer.
Like they mentioned in the video, doing a rumba walk well is VERY difficult. I've been working on it for years. If she picked it up quickly, than I am more impressed than ever at her dancing ability.

I do feel bad for Hyoyeon sometimes, she is an amazing dancer but even when she does have the oppurtunity to show it they rarely ever give her the spotlight, it's only for like a second. I think it'll also be hard for her to get even better when she has SNSD dances she has to learn and practice and probably rarely get to do her own thing. Maybe in the future she'll be able to do dancing only and she will be GLORIOUS! haha
Hyoyeon is the best, I don't fricking care. After 6 years you would think people would shut up about her looks, don't you realize she has more to offer than that?! She is gorgeous but above that she has many more reasons why we're her fans, so stop bringing up irrelevant topics. She's not your average talentless person who only earns love if she fits the beauty standard.
