  • We have a very special episode of Factory Underground Live this week, with an all star collective featuring Christine Ohlman, Paul Nelson, and members of Deep Banana Blackout and Kung Fu, performing the classic B.B. King song, "The Thrill Is Gone."
On Friday, December 1, 2017, award-winning music photographer Michael Weintrob presented his new book "Instrumenthead" with wall-sized photos, displayed throughout the Factory Underground, of musicians such as Derek Trucks and Bootsy Collins of P-Funk.
After observing installations of Weintrob's famous portraits, guests enjoyed live music provided by Christine Ohlman, the "Beehive Queen of Soul," from the Saturday Night Live Band, alongside Paul Nelson of the Johnny Winter Band, and members of jam bands Deep Banana Blackout and Kung Fu.
This was the first and only performance from this collective. To learn more about "Instrumenthead" and more of Weintrob's work, go to michaelweintrob.com/instrumen....
