Never even heard of this couch video until now. TikTok really isn't as impactful as you think it is. Get off social media and touch some grass every now and then.
The only "I could be brown, I could be blue" tiktoks I've seen are about progressively more trauma, I didn't know it was supposed to be about getting better lol
I noticed a lot of young people on the internet try to one up each other when it comes to trauma. Like it’s a competition and they need to have the worst trauma or something
i just noticed how the earth is rotating in the background and that there’s asteroids flying across it and i just think it’s neat that they’re constantly updating and adding cool new things to the podcast 💖
I'm not saying the guy is or isn't cheating but it's kinda gross that people started straight up bullying the girl and harassing their friends and family. The parodies are hilarious but people are literally refusing to leave her alone on anything she posts until she like... thanks them for making her doubt her boyfriend? Now she can't win lmao. It just sucks to me because now she can't break up with the guy or the internet will celebrate it and harass her more, which has effectively stuck them in this relationship no matter what may actually happen in the future. It's just sad to see millions of people dogpiling this 18 year old girl because they're projecting what they've been through onto her relationship
It’s so weird too because so many comments were accusing them of “gaslighting” when they denied the accusations which is funny because that’s EXACTLY what they’re trying to do to her. Making her doubt her own relationship and reality based on one video they saw from a shitty angle. I’ve even seen people call her delusional, naive, say they’re “just looking out for her,” etc. Literally textbook gaslighting. The boyfriend even made a video highlighting this hypocrisy and of course there were more comments calling THAT video gaslighting.
Yeah 100% agree, and they’ve basically taken away her ability to just have fun on the Internet. Cause she can’t really post anything in the future with mans or not without this fear of a viral tiktok hanging over her. I dunno, I just thought we were past this bullshit
so speaking of trauma olympics or something, one time I told a friend a big trauma anniversary was coming up for me and she goes "oh I've had trauma every day of the year so I don't have any anniversaries" and I was like cool thank u I feel so much better now.
One really good I could be brown I could be blue story was a guy was getting sick and losing a bunch of weight over the course of a lot of months and it turned out his wife was poisoning him slowly
Well just told my bf of about 3 years I would be ready to be engaged by at latest of 7 years and he still says idk. Matters if your both ready. This podcast really makes me think a lot 😂. Like idk if u arnt thinking after 3 years why are you with me
Can someone please remind me whats the name of the video that has Cody n Noel react to that one video of the old ladies singing while that guy raps over it?
Here's the fun thing about cease and desists: anyone can send em to anyone and they don't have to be "real". I mean they're real in the sense that its a threat, but is someone really gonna sue you? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ up to you to judge
At first glance, I thought that the toll free number on the screen in the cut to Cody's tiktok dance was the NAMI hotline and had to play it back out of sheer respect. Was expecting a nod to mental health awareness at Cody's expense, but got a big fat "1-800-JOE-MAMA" instead.
I don’t have context for the original clip and this vid doesn’t fully show the vid or describe it so I don’t understand what the boyfriend was doing or the connotations of passing his phone. I might be entering my boomer phase
Basically this girl was surprising her bf with a surprise visit and he was sitting next to a girl on the couch and was very unenthusiastic to meet his gf and was overall acting super sus. A lot of people were just over analysing the vid, breaking it down and stuff. So the girl sitting next to him sneakily passes him his phone and he grabs it from under his leg or something
you can always count on cody and noel to cover a topic about a month after it's lost relevancy 😎
LMAOOOO
