thank you for your creativeness
hi... thanks so much for this. we made it for my daughter's science fest. It came out very nicely and it was simple and quick as well. made it in half an hour only. Thanks so much
where did ya get a motor
@@simonhartmann4412 you can find them in mini electric circuits with double 1,5 Volt batteries in it, on stationeries, they are sold for school experiments, some have motors, some just have mini lightbulbs, and are cheap. (By stationary i mean the people who sell books, notebooks, paints, crayons school crafts etc, i don't know the exact word in English, its not equipped like crafts shops but they sell mod podge, hot glue etc)
But making a small diy motor is also easy, you need a strong and symmetrical shaped wire, 2 magnets N and S to left and right side of it and you also can make AC current with it; light a lightbulb while turning it (u can read a highschool level physics book its fun) but you can't charge something with it without using a diode; because the current is like:
+ 0 - 0 +... It periodically changes directions(increase, decrease, now zero, increase in other way, repeat..) while you turn it. Like sinx graph. So the lightbulb with AC keeps blinking. Modern day bulbs have a diode and a capacitor to fill the zero-ampere moments i think.
smart work navin..
Thank you for giving the instructions for this USB fan. Golden idea. And very inexpensive, too.
great mr navin......without speaking a word ....excellent tallent...
I love to make homemade scientific projects like this
Great. It may inspire others to use their brains !
Navin Khambhala, the king of recycling :D
zabardast.....
Navin, watched a lot of your videos....you are a very skilful man,I find your gadgets especially helpful in under privileged places....keep it up, good skills and well done vids.
Excellent job Mr.Navin...among all the usb fan videos,I felt this one is the most easier n helpful but seems as many people r confused about the gadgets u used.so i think it would b grt if u post every single thing with their appropriate names..
Great Idea .
so great well done
yes sir,
u are clever man.. thank u for yr skills share for us
excellent brother
I decided to try this experiment with a hard drive motor. And the fan blade spun so fast that it shattered. (Probably over 4200 rpm) And one of the shards hit my leg and left a pretty noticeable bruise. I made a larger fan blade out of cardboard, and had better results, since that blade rotated at a slower speed than the cd fan blade.
super bro..

As a heads up, the walkman motors are actually going for quite a bit of money depending on the model. They are getting harder and harder to find.

instead of a walkman motor you can use a dc motor
similarly, when i went through the project i found my cd was separated into two parts and when i used the downward part and tried to bent it broked off..any suggestions for this please?????????n can i use super glue or not?
