This does promote the concept that unicum players allow their teammates to soak up damage (and die), but you also show that you are doing your best to cover and disrupt attacks on your teammates while conserving your hitpoints (and ability to cover for your teammates!) until you are able to spend your hitpoints with confidence that you will get a good return for them (killing the T-57 Heavy and IS-4). Even the act of putting one's tank in front of the gun of a tank (such as the IS-4) to encourage him to spend his DPM (400 alpha) on you rather than on a 1-shot teammate can be enough to break open an engagement, and then a battle. As long as it keeps BOTH your gun and your teammates gun in the game.
Any video with an AMX 30B in it deserves a like. Beautiful tank. If huge tumors are your thing of course. Makes me feel good that we both have identical ways of playing sub par tanks on this map, makes me wonder why so many players still have not understood how to get out of their spawns in the first 10 minutes of a game...
Had a Maus teammate over the weekend that went to F9 and camped it all game long. Still had full HP after the rest of the team got demolished in B2. Ended up with like 4 or 5 k damage and 8k blocked, so he probably thinks he had a great game. In reality, he's definitely someone that needs to watch this video. Good video, Lemming. Thanks.

Obviously this depends on what tank you are in but I find that in tanks like my bat, I have the speed and camo to go center (F5?) and passive spot. I'm sitting in bushes right in front of the camping tds. I get a good awareness of the enemy layout. After spotting I make my way to D5/6 where I am protected from camping tanks on the cliff and can flank to support the north.
I agree about south.. it's very risky but also very rewardable lets say if a thrust into enemy territory is achieved! I believe there are times,according on how the battle develops or the mm that makes a try worth.

Could you post a video where you play a med tank (no autoloaders) playing town at first, with at least 1 arty in game?? This should be all tier X game. I would really appreciate it. I believe in any so called bad tanks, if you play it enough you will eventually bring out some sort of goodness in it but people are so easy to give up or just free xp past it, they dont get the chance.
I tried several tanks for hundreds of games and still end up getting good games, while my team suicides/camps only and lose, or win shitty ones, because my team only camps and getting shit rng on fully aimed shots.
How to do well in bad tanks? Shoot 14 standard APCR and 16 premium HEAT ammo... *Oh wait, at tier 10, that's the norm now: You HAVE to shoot more prem. than standard just to do 'ok'.*

Okay, I generally liked what you said except when you addressed arty. I too hate arty, but it's still integral to your combat capability. If one or two arty out of three die then fine, but if all your arty die and the enemy still has theirs it is a SIGNIFICANT disadvantage. For every time someone on your team gets "clicked", someone on the enemy team is getting clicked as well. If you ignore defending your arty out of spite you're only worsening your chances for victory.
the accuracy stat means nothing, Henri. The Skorpion G has worse gun handling stats than the IS-3. Whenever you move your tank, turn your turret, move the gun up and down, your aim circle will bloom 3 times larger than the IS-3.
I wouldn't blind fire if I were you. Often people camp on that same position you were affraid of being shot at, so if you fire, you are 100% getting spotted and I have taken shots thatway.

The only reason he seems bad is cuz he employs something called "XVM camo" in which he purposely plays bad for a couple games so that his overall stats look average (so he doesn't get focused/XVM sniped). It's not unusual for really good players to do this, I know Anfield uses his own form of XVM camo does it whenever he plays on the EU server. As for saying he's bad, that's just sarcasm. It's along the lines of whenever Lemming says he's a "bad player" or "stupid uniscum" (which he is), but in Jingles' case it's more concealed and not obviously sarcastic like Lemming. Basically, Jingles is actually one of the premier WoT players in the world, but to the untrained eye it doesn't seem that way.

on the move is no problem. almost no chance to hit a tank at such a speed as LR was.
