    Pretty helpful, but is there any way we can get the vocal presets without even having to pay for 'em, which would be such a hassle, even for me since I can't even afford them at this point? I don't know if this is right, but I just feel that it would really help all of us out for anyone who uses Audacity, like I've used it for 5 years since I first got it freely. Hopefully if it's alright? But keep it up though! 🙏🏻

    How do I add the MAutoPitch to my plugins? I somehow cant figure it out, I dont see it when i put in the audacity pugin folder

      only way to run MAutoPitch is to run it in the 64 bit version of audacity unfortunately. I couldn't find a 32 bit installer for the MAutoPitch plug in.

    Can you help me? I can't enable MAutopitch. It says: "Library coudn't load". The Rest of the Plugins are working..

      After like 30 minutes of being stuck I figured it out how to get ALL of them working. The video is sort of misleading. The MAutopitch plug-in ONLY works with 64bit meaning your Audacity program downloaded MUST be 64bit. However he states in the video to only download 32 bits for the other 4 plug-ins. I downloaded Audacity in 64bit and downloaded ALL the plug ins in either 64 bits or selected to only install the 64 bits. Don't use 32bit. All of the programs except the VerberateBasic will allow you to install 32/64 bit. When you download the VerberateBasic, download the 64 instead of the 32.

    Is there any difference in mixing the adlibs for a verse or the backing vocals for a hook? Would I just select both and follow the mixing that you did so everything remains even?

    why you no longer use software like tdr kotelnikov, tdr slick eq or prefix

    • @jasonrtech
      @jasonrtech  Рік тому +1

      Good question: I replaced TDR Kotelnikov with TDR Molotok because, while they’re both compressors, Molotok is more so designed for vocals. I previously used SlickEQ as a high shelf, and in this video used another instance of Nova to bring in the same effect. And I’ve phased out using noise gates in my music, as I think the breaths help maintain rhythm 👍🏼

    Why do you record in stereo and not mono? Just curious

    • @davidceddleman
      @davidceddleman Рік тому +2

      Yeah cause mono gives you more room to record and mix your vocals on Audacity. I do it all the time. It's a lot more easier than recording in stereo.

    • @j2gomes
      @j2gomes 10 місяців тому

      plus, the signal coming from the mic is mono anyway, so recording in stereo only records the same signal twice (one for the left side, another for the right), taking up double the space in the disk and doubling the processing for the computer, as it has to read two identical files instead of just one. When you record the mono signal, you just pan it to the center, sending that same signal to both sides at the same time, thereby achieving the same effect as having two identical files playing through each side (and halving the disk space and processing in the process).
