My daughter asked me if her best friend from school could come over. I told her I had to meet her mom first. It happened to be my bff from high school as well. We both happened to move to the same small town.
This happened to me and my best friend from elementary!!! Same exact thing lol my mom had to meet her mom first just to be sure it was safe and she knew where I was going and then they got hysterical and started ‘omg it’s you omg’ we were like ... sooo .. you guys know each other ?😅😂😂😂 and we literally lived 2 minutes away from each other. Me and her now have kids and all and our moms still keep in touch through fb
This same scenario happened to my mother and the mother of my sister's boyfriend (now husband). In this case they weren't best friends but they definitely knew one another from high school. She met her one day after the two kids were dating for a few months and were like "well hello there it's been a while" lol absolutely surreal.
Oh how wonderful! I know exactly how that feels to lose contact with your best friend before the age of cell phones and computers. I searched for her and she searched for me over years to no avail... I’m grateful that my best friend found me about 10 years ago and the hole in my heart is healed!
my best friend and i met in school 10 years ago, and have been friends ever since. when our parents met, we found out that my dad and her mom had been friends & colleagues at work! i was going through old family photo albums and found her and her family in them. i don't know if it's fate but it made us feel special :)
This is what happened with me and my best friend! Our parents were friends in college (his dad) and (my mom) and me and his son ended up in the same kindergarten class and we ended up sharing the same coat hook and on the first field trip our parents came and they were shocked! And ever since then 20+ years were still best friends
@Dwayne Nobody gives a fuck about your opinion!!! And what is “what you is” ??? Learn some grammar. It’s “what you ARE” Not only are you rude for no reason but you’re also stupid.
For the younger folks out there wondering how it's possible two people who were so close could lose touch... The fact that we have the internet (and social media) to track people down is a blessing - because you find names, pictures, family members, etc very easily. Back then, losing touch was as simple as changing a phone number when you move and forgetting to notify your friend of the change. Or moving on short notice and not notifying your friend of the new address. It was so easy to lose touch back then.
It's like My mom and my bestfriends mom. Both bestfriends. Met in 8th grade. In 2007 my mom had me 2 months and 5 days before my bestfriend. That's when I met my first bestfriend. We got separated for 9 years and we reunited in 2016. She now lives down the street from me. I am forever thankful for my bestfriend 💙
Same happened to me with my friend we got separated 2 years later he joined the school and instantly recognized me we used to be neighbors I almost cried
I met my best friend during the first week of uni orientation after lending her a pencil, little did I know she was my dad's best friend's daughter:) I am a few months older than her, my mom told me when she was born, my nanny went to live with her for a year since her mom had younger kids
I also just found a friend that I lost touch with 13 years ago. We were even best friends when we were in primary school. So I know what it feels like.
Sounds like a similar story to my boyfriend & I. I met my boyfriend online 2 years ago & as we started talking we discovered all these friends/acquaintances we have in common- Including a friend I went to high school with in 2005. Now in 2019/2020/2021, I'm dating someone my high school friend goes to church with.
I may have the same case. This person who went to high school with me, my parents saw (What looked like) his parents while they went out. The wife/mom turned out to be a friend of my dad's he hasn't seen in 25 years.
Something similar happened to me! My two best friends when I was like three both moved away. I met one, Abi, eight years later when they moved back into the same house (we became best friends again and still are). But when I was a junior in highschool I met this girl named Mei from Texas in my English class and invited her to my birthday party. Our moms all met when Mei's mom dropped her off and they all started crying and we had no idea what was happening but apperantly Mei was the third friend that Abi and I hardly remembered from when we were 3😂 Abi and I were super excited but Mei was freaked out and said it was "some weird Fate sh*t" lol. We all still meet up sometimes, but I'm definitely closer to Abi than Mei now
😂😂 same thing happened with my younger brother and his "new friend" ended up in the same high school and same class, and after a week of being friends they realized that their moms might actually know each other, long story short the moms also reunited after 16 years
"You come from England? So do I. London? Snap! King's road? Amazing-me too! Number 437? OMG that's astonishing, that's where I live!" Oh dear, Mr. and Mrs. Blenkinsop are drunk again.
I have a best friend in junior high school..last see him in 2000 when we had reunion junior high school..we live in the same province..same city..after that i've never seen him again..until June 2020 i finally meet him again..so after 20 years i finally meet him again..and God must be joking coz my house and him only 3 kilometers apart 😁😁😁
One of the craziest experiences during college is one of my friends in college from my math class, her dad and my dad were neighbors when they were kids, but we did know of each other when we were younger because my family used to be close with her family, but we didn't really become friends till college.
My best friend lives on the other side of the world. Now just think about that. I have known her since I was 7. I saw her last year and prior to that 2011.
This is just like mine and my hubbys story, our dad's met at police training school, his dad was my dads best man at his wedding to my mum, me and my hubby used to bath together when we were tiny, then they lost touch, at my mum and dads 25th wedding anniversary they had a party and invited the best man and his wife to the party, our mum's got chatting and decided we would be great together, fast forward six months and we met up, me and the hubby fell in love and next year were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary, it was meant to be lol

I’m grateful that my best friend found me about 10 years ago and the hole in my heart is healed!
They even both wore basically the same outfit😱
Okay this is scary 😂😂😂
N A or it was secretly planned 🤷🏻♀️
They also think alike too
No their daughters dressed them to wear like that. Lol
16 years, and they still remember each other. Now, the way I see it, both Mom's had each other's faces etched in their memory.
Talk about 4 beautiful souls connecting... Perfect story
Tears came out when she said this is my sister 😭

2 pretty best friends!
My best friend lives on the other side of the world. Now just think about that. I have known her since I was 7. I saw her last year and prior to that 2011.

So awesome!

If only landline phones went further than the city they are in. Who knows how people kept in touch 16 years ago. It was the dark ages where you had to ride on horseback for weeks to give someone news.
Yeah... Come on, couldn't keep in touch in early 2000's, because only had landlines? The horror!!! Best friends find a way to keep in touch somehow.
It is fate and destiny...they are meant to be together in this life.
