Not really into the whole awards thing since I am such a mood reader. I really enjoy your videos and appreciate how you tell us your actual feelings without being judgmental about the writer. “It didn’t work for me” is the perfect review for a book that doesn’t appeal.
I enjoyed your video. I read Fourth Wing because of the hype and I loved the book and Iron Flame. I’m always interested to hear different takes on the same titles. The only thing I care about is the promotion of titles that I might not otherwise pay attention to. So thanks for your insights.
I'm boycotting because I suspect they cancelled the MG and Graphic Novels categories in order to swerve controversy. The latest Heartstopper was near guaranteed to win Graphic novels and I suspect they could see the MG category was going to be packed with similar "controversial"🤨 books. I don't think GR ever had a spine but retreating this way on children's books, gives me such a disgust of them.

I just finished shark heart and it was great. It's also one of those books with super short scenes/chapters so you can flick through super fast. 🦈 ♥
